Street Fighter : New Beginnings
 Prologue

"Soon this world will be rid of your horrid face......."

"I know he's near! I can almost smell you, Vega!"

"True beauty belongs to me...."

"Where are you, bastard?! I'll crush you!"

Haunting eyes would seem to glow in the purplish black darkness of the night's sky. Expressionless facade reflecting what little light it could gather from the moon, which with all it's beauty, was being covered mostly by the stubborn clouds, as if garments. Though this face was no ordinary face...this face was pure steel--from forehead to chin. No lips, and only two thin slits to breathe from. Blue designs poured from the eye openings like tears--blonde hair left undone, blowing steadilly along the metal mask. Silence. The eyes would squint down, three large claws slowly lifting up before his face.

A sinister chuckle would come muffled from behind his mask as he watched his target from above...

"Yes..., soon the beautiful one...will be all mine..."

The target? Well, he was no easy kill, and at the moment, given all the man known as Vega has done to his life, he was ready to end the spaniard's own. Standing on the top of a lower portion of what seemed to be a church, bare feet would step along the flat surface, nearing the tower just feet ahead. Red torn gi-pants being seen as he stepped, claw rips across the bleeding thigh, and one just above his bare abdomen. Brown fist gaurds had come to grasp the bleeding wound, but the brown eyes of Ken Masters were searching elsewhere. "Where are you, Vega?!" The said stubborn clouds had started to lightly rumble in the distance...rainfall had started to pour down over the church's structure...hearing that sinister chuckle, Ken looked up, though shielding his eyes from the rain. "Grah....you bastard! Come down here and fight me like a man!" As Masters spotted Vega, he'd see the spanish slasher standing at the very top of the Church's bell tower, folding his arms over one another. That deadly claw being seen sticking off to the side. Vega, too had been battle ravaged--black ninja-like shozoku bottoms had been ripped in several places, perfect upper body showing scratches and bruises all about it's being...though this only being seen after a bright clap of thunder.

"It all comes together tonight, Masters....your role in this play..has come to a tragic end...." Uncoiling his arms to reveal that snake tattoo about his form, Vega pointed down to Ken with his claw. "EMBRACE YOUR FATE!"

Ken lowered his sheilding hand, growling up at Vega. "Would you shut up! I'm tired of--!" As Ken finished speaking, Vega had took to the skies....everything had seemed to slow down then...for a moment, the two fighters had their eyes locked on eachother--ready for war....until the cry of a certain beauty could be heard down below.

"KEN!"

____________________________________________
That's how it all ended up. I remember that day like it was yesterday...Ken, Vega....both fighting for the same thing, with very different motives. I know the entire story...so let me tell you it from the very beginning.

It was a few years after the third Street Fighter tournament, I had successfully taken down Urine, with a bit of help from Ken Masters, and rescued Lin Mei from his grasps. After that, it was smooth sailing--I heard that Ken had won yet another championship, Ryu had gotten some special training, and I even got dance lessons from Elena! It was a good couple of years, until I got that call from William, or Guile, whichever you'd perfer.

Guile told me about Vega. I had thought I finished him off that night he ambushed me, but apparently he was alive and well, in Florida. I was in horor...Bison had been taken down years ago, and we couldn't take him in just yet--we needed to know if it was really him, and if he had any useful Shadowlaw information.

It turns out he turned himself in, prior to the second tournament, and served his sentence...so we could not take him back in...real bummer, hm?

Oh! I'm sorry, perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Chun-Li, I've been an Interpol Agent for over a decade.

This is the story that I've been asked to share, though it's been over for three months now--people can't get enough of it!

Well, I suppose we can start....at the Masters Estate...
