Author's Note: The characters names are according to the Japanese version. So don't be surprised if you saw some mstakes in this area for those who are used to the US version.

        "The evil presence is gone I can't detect it anywhere. Don't tell me its destroyed or something similar" mused a young man leaping across the forest. He was clad in a red ninja outfit with the kanji words 'Bushin' written on the left side of his gi. His skin was slightly tanned and he was nothing short of being handsome with brown hair parted at the centre. Then he stopped at the scene where he last detected the evil aura. The scene resembled some destroyed base and amongst the rubble, he spotted a woman lying unconsciously. He rushed up to check upon her and instantly knew who she was.

"Rose?" breathed the young man as he checked on her injuries. Nothing much serious, he thought, but he still decided to take her to a nearby hospital just to play safe. Carrying her in his arms, he felt a chilling presence somewhere nearby.

'Couldn't be. Judging from the scene, he should be gone by now but what is this feeling I'm having right now?' he thought to himself."Never mind, maybe its because I'm thinking too much. I'd better take her to the hospital.'
With that he set off to the nearest hospital, not knowing that his actions would change his fateâ?¦

        Halfway through the journey, the man stopped in his tracks. Somehow, he felt that something is going to happen. He laid Rose down onto the grass and prepared to face whatever was waiting for him. Suddenly, the ground began to shake. He turned around to the source and was surprised to see Rose standing up.

"Rose? Are you okay?"
The woman only gave a sinister laugh.

"Hey, don't spook me out like that?"

"Rose? Indeed this used to be her original identity, but its all over now."
"What do you mean?"
"You should know very well right from the start  39th Bushinryuu master, Guy"
"You're Vega!"
"Correct, but there's no prize for the correct answer"
"What did you do to Rose?"
"Nothing. Its only right that I merge my soul with hers because we both share the same spirit"
"Damn you!"
"Say what you want. Bushinryuu is a major threat to my plans. For this reason, your life must end here!"
 

        Knowing what had happened, Guy clenched his fists, knowing that there's no escape for him. It's either fight or die. With a cry, he turned his body 360 degrees and lunged towards Vega, preparing to strike.

"Houzanto!"

The fist hit Vega straight to the abdomen, sending him backwards. She gave an evil smile.
"That's all you got? Your Bushinryuu really disappointed me."
With that, she charged up her energy and launched a fireball at Guy.

"Psycho Shot!"

Guy caught the projectile at full force. He felt as if a fire was burning him and it left the area hit numbed. Vega rushed towards Guy, preparing to finish him off. Just as she was about to reach him, Guy gritted his teeth and gathered his ki.

"Bushin Hassouken!"

Vega was instantly hit by this move as Guy began a six hit combo carrying her up in mid-air, ending with a spin kick, sending her to the ground. Vega got up, blood trickling from her mouth.

"Heh heh heh. That's more like it, the style of Bushin. But you'll still die here, right now."

No sooner Vega said that, she disappeared from Guy's sight and appeared behind him. Guy turned around preparing to face her, but its too late. Vega had driven a fist onto Guy's abdomen, determined to finish him off. A searing pain shot through Guy's body, his body unable to react, or so it seemed, for Guy managed to grab Vega's arm.

"I may die here, Vega, but I'll definitely take you with me."growled Guy.

Then drawing upon his remaining ki, he focused it on his right hand and a flaming ki surrounded the hand. With his last ounce of strength, he slammed his right hand onto Vega's chest, the fiery ki exploded with impact. Vega was blown off the ground and Guy was sent flying across the trees as the result of the force of impact caused. As Guy was sent flying, a thick branch hit him squarely on the back of his head, causing him to lost conscious as he fly through the end which was a cliff and fell right into the deep waters below.

        Vega, on the other hand, was sorely wounded. She felt that her entire body was burning and she vomited some blood. She knew that this current body wouldn't last long given the injury. She needed to get a new body fast.

'Barlog' said Vega telepathically.
'Yes, my lord?'
'Tell the scientists to prepare a new body for me. I can't stay in this body anymore.'
'Why is that so?'
'You have no right to know. Just do it!'
'Yes.'

"Bushinryu. Indeed it has lived up to its legend. But everything is over. I don't believe that you can survive that fall, Guy. Pity that you're not working for me." whispered Vega.
