1. War between Naar and the Gods of Light,
time length uncertain. Agreed
to truce after a while, and the nine Planes
of Existence (our current
existing universe) created as proof of
goodwill. Planes shaped from both
Naar and Ishir's powers.
2. Naar violates the truce, attacks and
captures one Plane and names it
the Plane of Darkness. Uses its cosmic
powers to wage war once more on
Ishir and the Gods of Light while trying
to capture the other Planes as
well (bad guys never give up, don't they?).
Ishir too captures a Plane,
names it the Plane of Light and the war
starts again.
3. Plane of Darkness, Elemental Strongholds
of Earth and Fire = Naar. Confluence, Elemental Strongholds of Air and
Water, Plane of Light = Ishir. By then science has taken its course, and
advanced lifeforms now exist on Daziarn (but not Aon). Naar sends his champion,
Agarash the Damned, to the planet of Magnamund in Aon to start his conquest
of the Plane. Ishir creates an ancient race of magicians, the Elder Magi,
and
the two sides duke it out on Magnamund
for a thousand millennia. The Elder Magi win, but are sorely weakened.
4. Naar sends the 18 Darklords to Magnamund,
and beat the living crap =
out of the remaining Elder Magi magicians.
The survivors flee to Eastern
Magnamund and colonize a piece of land
there, called it Dessi. Ishir
creates the race of Sommlending, while
Kai, Sun God and ally of Ishir
welds the magical Sommerswerd and gifts
it to the Sommlending. The
Sommlending resided in Northern Magnamund
and christened their piece of
territory as Sommerlund, capital = Holmgard.
5. Darklords made their land right west
of Sommerlund (a mountain range
separates Sommerlund from the Darklands).
Darklord Vashna, the leader,
leads an army to invade Sommerlund, but
died in combat, defeated by King
Ulnar I who then wielded the Sommerswerd.
The whole horde of nasty
monsters flee back to the Darklands.
6. The Baron of Tyso (a city in Sommerlund)
as well as a bunch of other
Sommlending discovered their special powers
during the war. They grouped
together to further refine their abilities,
and called themselves the
Kai Lords. Back in the Darklands, civil
war broke out as the Darklords
scrambled for the empty throne, now that
Vashna got his head cut off.
New leader = Darklord Zagarna. Fifty years
later (Darklords have a
real long lifespan), Zagarna invaded Sommerlund
again, but suffered
defeat once more, Zagarna perishing in
the hands of Lone Wolf, a Kai
warrior who held the Sommerswerd at that
time.
7. One more civil war in the Darklands,
one more new leader, Darklord
Gnaag. Now this guy's smart. He studies
history! (Don't laugh) And he
discovers that the Sommerswerd has been
their undoing all this while. So
he plans to get rid of the Kai warriors
and the Sommerswerd first. See
what a little attention in History class
can do for you? So, he launched
a sneak attack on the Kai Monastery by
AIR (no airplanes, but they have
these big flying pterodactyls -- remember
the Kraan?). Most of the Kai
warriors get massacred, caught by surprise,
but Lone Wolf escapes. He
got caught and killed too in the end,
but not before he tossed the
Sommerswerd through a Shadow Gate. Gnaag
foolishly dismisses this, and
proceeds with his invasion, conquering
country by country, but a few
still resist, including Sommerlund and
Dessi... did I mention the
remaining Elder Magi banded up with the
Sommlending too?
8. Cut out to the Sahara Desert, Earth,
Daziarn, with this guy stubbing
his toe on something sharp in the sand.
He pulls it out, only to see it
is a finely-crafted golden sword which
zapped him -- actually, HE
unconsciously established a psychic link
with the sword -- sorta gifting
him with the powers of the Kai warriors,
as well as opening a Shadow
Gate and sucking him back to Magnamund.
9. SD appears in Sommerlund, in the remote
town of Ruanon south of
Sommerlund which is under heavy siege.
SD, being human instead of
Sommlending, had the advantages of the
ability to wield ki energy. Half
of the Armies of Night ran away at the
sight of the Sommerswerd and the
Kai Lord, and those who didn't got kicked
pretty bad. The citizens
cheered.
10. An annoyed Gnaag throws the ENTIRE
freakin' army right at Ruanon,
determined to get at Shadow Dragon, but
the guy disappears through a
Shadow Gate and back to Earth just in
time. Gnaag reports this to Naar,
who decides to regulate matters into his
own hands for a while. Cut to
Earth, with Naar recruiting Bison and
Man Sei, promising them unlimited
powers if they agree. Man Sei, of course,
gets lured by the deal,
figuring he gets to crush Wai Lim then,
and go home to his family and
throw up some ruckus. Bison was sorta
annoyed that HE wasn't the man in
charge for once, but was soon convinced
after a little "demonstration"
by Naar.
11. Ishir gets wind of what Naar's doing,
and decides to help the human
race a little. Nine of her most trusted
divine warriors get sent down to
Daziarn.. to choose a host they deemed
as suitable and use their new
bodies to resist Naar. The hosts, of course,
know nothing about
themselves getting attached to the holy
fighters, nor do they know
anything about Naar.. except for one,
of course (why else would he be
writing this? ^_^).
12. Read ShockWave's background profile,
then the BF chapters, and you
know the rest.
