OVERVIEW:
Rez fights with an overpowering fighting style that doesn't hesitate to use cheap tricks if they help ensure a victory. Relying heavily on grapples and holding moves, Rez still knows enough Russian martial arts to stand on par with most fighters. He fights using a strong defense to lure opponents in close then overwhelms them with his strength. While not so strong in the speed department, his strength and defense allow him to control the pace he fights. Against males he is generally more dominant than when fighting females, who he prefers to wear down slowly. While usually calm and controlled during a fight, he becomes more mentally unstable the more he is hurt. As a result, his fighting style shifts from a defensive style to a furious offensive style.

        Outfit 2 - Solid black cargo pants with a black muscle shirt and black boots, a black vest worn over it with a black skullcap worn. Face painted dark black under his eyes. A knife is worn on his chest and his Desert Eagle is strapped to his leg.
        Outfit 3 - (Casual Wear) A light grey business suit with brown dress shoes, a white shirt, and a black tie. Before a fight the tie and jacket are tossed to the side.

-STANCE-
        A slightly crouching stance with both knees bent and his body leaned forward a little. His hands are positioned in front of him with their elbows bent, much like a grappler's stance. Shoulders will roll slightly in the stance while keeping the body loose for reaction time.

-PERSONALITY-
An uncommonly cruel individual who thinks nothing of killing anyone for a little bit of money. While he hails from Russia originally, it's a high likely hood that it's not his native land since he speaks with a very calm, clear tone that lacks any accent. Usually quiet and business like until in a fight, at which point he becomes almost cheerful. He suffers from a mild case of mental instability that actually serves as an advantage, since almost like a drug it begins to dull his senses to pain and fear. This usually only kicks in when Rez has already suffered some serious to critical injuries, but does rise from time to time in a fight. Outside of battle appears to be a calm and charming business man with a slightly disturbing sense of humor. He is a master at going unseen when he wishes to disappear and manages to blend into crowds easily.

-HOBBIES/QUIRKS/PEEVES-
        Weapons - An expert at most forms of firearms and martial weapons. His expertise is in explosives however, able to design and make a wide variety of destructive bombs. Preferable to Russian weaponry though he can use just about anything effectively.
        Alcohol - Rez loves a good drink and knows how to make one. Has a large knowlege of mixed drinks and the various alcohols.
        Money - The love of money is the root of all evil and is no different for Rez. As a business man, he prefers to ensure that the profits outweigh the risks of his business though he has been known to simply kill for the enjoyment of killing. Generally willing to do anything for a high enough profit.
        Insanity - Mentally unstable from a mental stimulant, Rez sometimes slips into a homicidal frenzy in which pain, sounds, fear, and common sense fade to pure aggression. Usually only triggered by severe injuries to his physical status.
        Weaklings - People who beg and grovel for their lives are below his contempt. While Rez may hate his enemies, he loves a good fight and the taste of a hard worn victory.

DESCRIPTION: Rez simply stands straight and points his fist towards his enemy, firing a large blast of dark crimson chi at his enemy. While this attack is slower than most projectiles, it has the advantage that it hits much harder and can blow through other projectiles at a short distance.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Dirt Throw
POWER: None
DESCRIPTION: Kneeling down for a split second, Rez scoops up a hand full of dirt and throws it into his opponents eyes. This stuns them for just long enough for Rez to follow up with anything he wishes. A cheap and dirty trick, it is still an effective attack when used at the right moment.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Molotov Cocktail
POWER: 4
DESCRIPTION: Drawing back an arm, Rez lobs a large blast of crimson energy a medium distance before it falls to the ground then explodes, causing an incinerary effect in the area. This can cause opponents to catch on fire and knocks them to the ground. The range is rather short for a projectile attack, but the explosion helps make up for the short range of this attack.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Crash Break
POWER: 5
DESCRIPTION: Drawing his fist back for a second to gather his chi, Rez charges foward with an energy charged punch. This attack can actually negate projectile attacks and continue forward. Even worse is that this attack stuns an opponent even if it's blocked, so dodging is the only option. Usefully against projectile fighters since it can provide a breakthrough and close the distance. The weakness is the brief moment it takes to charge.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: The Wire
POWER: 2 per strike
DESCRIPTION: Rez leaps forward a short distance and tries to grab his opponent. If successful, Rez swing around behind him and reveals a hidden wire that wraps around his opponents neck. He then proceeds to strangle his opponent until they either pass out or manage to break free. Very devastating if the opponent cannot break free quickly though much easier for larger opponents to escape from.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Siberian Tundra
POWER: 7
DESCRIPTION: Rez performs a powered up Crash Break and goes rushing across the screen. If the attack connects cleanly, Rez follows through by quickly throwing four punches, two to the face then to the body and a final to the face. Rez then kicks his opponent in the groin area then grabs his opponent as they bend over then leaps upward and performs a powerbomb type throw. If the attack is blocked then Rez simply stuns the opponent after his Crash Break but can follow up however he likes. If the enemy manages to avoid the attack, he goes charging past and is completely open until he stops.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Russian Roulette
POWER: 10
DESCRIPTION: Rez charges up a large volume of crimson energy then launches it into a sky. Afterwards he stares at his opponent and grins until the attack commences. For a brief moment is vulnerable until the attack starts up. After this pause a huge crimson beam of energy fires down from the sky and smashes into his enemy, hitting multiple times and inflicting massive amounts of damage. However the attack is an extremely risky one since there is a 25 % chance that the attack will hit him instead and leave the opponent unharmed. There is also a 25% chance that the attack will hit both fighters, splitting the damage between the two evenly. Finally the attack may not hit anyone at all, in which case Rez simply shrugs then goes back into a fighting stance. Since which of the four ways the attack can go is completely random, the attack is always risky.

-STORYLINE-

Little is really known about the history and background of Sergei Rezlorn Romanav. Known as a former KGB agent at one point, he tested many test drugs and stimulants before one pushed his mind over the edge. After a brief homicidal rampage and leaving Russia, Rez became a self-employed mercenary working for a variety of employers over the years. Never really staying in one place for very long, he became well known as an assassin and hunter. Working in various countries such as Iraq, Cambodia, Lebanon, Columbia, and other countries following the trend, he built up a good sized war chest. Eventually his employment led him to Umbrella Corp., where he underwent further tests and helped 'volunteer' other potential candidates. This connection through Umbrella Corp. led him to cross paths with Shadowlaw and now he works for both, playing both sides for whichever one offers the biggest bonuses. His only real goal at the tournament is to make money by aquiring samples and fighters for whichever group will pay more. Thought to have been killed by John after being shot twice in the chest by Glock 19, repappeared in the service of Umbrella Corp. not even seven months afterwards. Called the Crimson Phantom because of this ability to return from life and death situations unharmed.
