-PERSONALITY-

He can be quite a longwinded fellow if you let him ramble on and constantly needs to be reminded that not everybody understands what he says. Once he gets serious and starts taking charge he is more straightforward with his choice of words. When he starts to work on something he tends to forget about attending to himself, hence the constant bloodshot eyes and severely unkempt hair. Even the peers he works with takes him to be a potential mad scientist.

He usually addressed people by their first name, but when he gets angry he refers to them by their last name or rank.
Considered to be a nice guy who seems to take the time out to listen (when you can tear him away from his work). He is always the first scientist to visit the cells and check on the subjects. Unlike Yalana and Markus he sometimes visit the cells twice a day or more on account of needing to think out certain things and seeing the subject in question allows him clearer thought.
 

-STORYLINE-
Yamada hails from a family of Aikido Practitioners, it was through this lifelong association that he develop a fascination with Qi manipulation since he’s not able to. Watching a fight involving a qi throwing martial artist (speculated to be either Ryu or Gouki) only strengthen his fascination with Qi

Since his choice of studies (Qi Mechanics) was ridiculed by main stream society as Oriental mambo jambo, he ended up taking another controversial subject - Psychokinesis (PSI). It was through this field that he caught the attention of Doctor Senoh, one of Bison top brains. And was offered the chance to study both fields in theory and practical usage. Doctor Yamada had never looked back since then. Currently in the process of developing 2nd Generation Dolls (capable of Qi Manipulation) and the attempt to create a suitable host for Bison

He seems to be one of those people whose name contain or is close to the name of Ryu, people that Iwa seems to have an affinity with. He’s the only scientist that Iwa is willing to take orders from It is also widely speculated that he was chosen to take on the current project on account of his passing resemblance to Ryu and the effect that Iwa’s Deep Doll Programming had on her
 

Side note
Deep Doll Programming – An earlier programming that was used on Iwa back when her qi was altered. She was programmed with a preference for males with brown wavy hair, stern eyes, a lovely smile and a strong chin. (the base profile for Ryu). This was thought to have made her loyal to Ryu and kept her by his side until the need to reactivate her. But it is speculated that the beta program was imperfect due to her damaged Psionics.

-PERSONALITY-
At HQ
She takes much pride in her work and tends to demand similar standard from her subordinates, Domineering if she has to be (since slacking off can earn the Master’s displeasure). Tends to work towards pre-empting anything she thinks might cause an error in eventual results. But sometimes her superiors do not listen to her and ends up making aforementioned error.

At the Faculty
Proud, reckless and somewhat domineering. She gives others the impression that she is constantly challenging Doctor Yamada’s authority, but in actual fact that she keeps an eye out for him (Yamada is aware of that and plays off her).

She is believed to be playing up her ‘upset scientist over a failure role’ (Cana and Reno’s termination). Has a fondness for younger males (pretty boy or rugged types are both welcome) She is playing up this fact since Ryan is usually in her company

She is very handy when it comes to using a syringe or a scalpel or any small knives and the sharp heels of her shoes. And owing to Shadoloo Paranoia all scientists are given basic self-defense class. Her shoes are always known as the ‘Tock of Doom’ as the sound they make announces her arrival (tends to give some people a bad headache on hearing it). Prone to smacking people on the upside of their heads for doing whatever it was that displeases her.

Tends to visit the cells once a day

-STORYLINE-

Yalana had taken up the studying of Genetics on account of the passing of a few younger siblings. Owing to certain issues that early mainstream society has against Gene therapy and Cloning she had not the opportunity to further work on it. Somehow she had heard in certain circles that some mad dictator was funding such a research and it turns out that she was one of those minds that he had been courting.

She had pretty much work on the Doll, Clone and Host program and is familiar enough to see certain patterns running through the project that she was able to give accurate statistics and analysis. She is also aware that she might be promoted but chose not to accept promotion in order to spend more time working on her chosen fields instead of taking on the paperwork and politicking that promotion tend to bring.

Chosen since she is one of the better Geneticists in the base and that she tends to think a few steps ahead to prevent disaster, even if her superiors chose to ignore her advice. When when such situation happens, she would rather not gloat (not worth it)

Side note
She has a certain effect on Iwa due to her red hair and green eyes. Doctor Markus believes that it’s the effect of living in a mostly dark hair community that prompted this fascination. As for why males with such hair and eyes had no effect on Iwa, There was no logical explanation at all.

-PERSONALITY-

He does not speak much and keeps a low profile. Thus enabling him to collect various information and rumors that may aid or threaten him in his work. He’s the type of guy who you think is busy working but is actually listening to you. He has a nasty habit of moving quietly and appearing behind you. He seems to know what you’re thinking of and hands you the correct info accordingly (because he listens). Like Yalana he also works to pre-empt any trouble

Usually does not visit the cells unless Yalana request his company.

-STORYLINE-
Chosen on account of the fact that the field he practices laps into that of the others and that. (Ie How the brains works with the body, the five senses, regeneration, brain-computer interface, etc ). Like Yalana he also works to help with data analysis. He also works with Timothy to ensure that the machinery they use would interface properly with the test subjects.

And the main reason he’s here is because of Senoh's suspicions that Markus may sabotage the project and since Ryan’s field overlaps into Markus’s field as well. He makes for a good backup, control and is usually the one to verify a system’s working before any test is run

He has a strong fascination with how the individual mind works and makes it a hobby to categories people accordingly. Has a habit of talking other people into taking the blame for him when things go wrong. Not a glory hound as he takes great delight in working behind the scenes and record the results according. He keeps quiet to avoid drawing too much attention to himself. Give him half a chance and he’ll blackmail you.

He’ll stoke an ego just to make you do something and challenge your perception just to break you down. No one really knows why he behaves the way he does. Speculation points to either jealousy or simple malicious intent.

Like Yalana he only visits the cells once a day
 

-STORYLINE-
Since his field involved neural function and brain washing and most would grudgingly agree that he’s the best choice for being on this team

Is highly insecure and has his own issues (Ryan thinks that the guy is a closet glory hound and the innate fear of Bison kept him in check), suspects that the others don’t like him at all

Although he dislikes Yamada he doesn’t show it at all. Preferring to see if there’s a chance that he could sabotage this project and blame Yamada for it. And if Yamada is still alive at the end of it all, there will be some serious grilling from the Master.
 

Sidenote
According to Iwa, the other three docs, Timothy, Doctor Senoh, Bison and everybody else who ever worked with him, he is a manipulative b@$turd. He has been using his field of profession on both work as well as social life. The others are aware of it but since the Master finds him useful so complaining wouldn’t work.
