-VITALS-
=======================
PLOT POINTS: Villain
Range*: 5
Speed*: 8
Power*: 7
Defense*: 6
Jump: 3m/10 ft
======================
OVERVIEW:
Reno is a relentless fighter who will go at it aggressively at the start in the hopes of gaining an early advantage. He will keep at his opponent relentlessly whether it is from a distance sending projectiles their way, jumping in with an attack followed by a somersault or grabbing you out of your block. His basic fighting style is derived from Rock Howard.
His weakness is his aggression as an opponent can counter if they time themselves correctly, unfortunately the recovery time on his attacks is very quick and worst so when he goes into “Howl of Thunder.” Though he and Cana have similar stats, his recovery is quicker yet his attacks are weaker.
Also of note, Reno fights dirty when he can.
-APPEARANCE/OUTFIT-
HEIGHT: 6'
WEIGHT: 180 lbs.
POSTURE/BUILT: Rock Howard-like
CLOTHES:
Casual/Fighting: White, half-buttoned dress shirt with collars turned up inside a thin, open black sports jacket, black dress pants and black designer shoes. Black, fingerless biker gloves. Not too neat. Has a blue version of the suit as well.
Casual/Fighting 2: An open, long white trench coat with black jeans and brown, worn boots. Shirtless with black, fingerless gloves.
-PERSONALITY-
Reno can be pretty annoying to both foe and friend with his smart mouth backed up by his abilities; he’s kind to few if any though he can be quite charming and easy going if necessary as shown by his day job as a rock guitarist. In general he’s been known to be quite wild and crazy, even for a rock star similar to Dante from Devil May Cry.
Wild and unapologetic, he’s a pretty offensive fellow who will stab you once your back is turned and kick you while you’re down. The good qualities he had from Kay Lee are nearly erased over his years working for Shadowlaw, while the negative qualities such as Kay’s incessant taunting remain.
-STANCE-
He rips off Rock Howard’s stance here.

SPECIAL MOVES:
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Sickle
POWER: 3, 5/10
DESCRIPTION: If we’re going by Street
Fighter’s 6 button configuration his LP and MP do the damage of 3 while
they vary only in speed. Refer to KOF2003’s Ash Crimson for graphic details
on this move. For the weaker version Reno does a cross slash at chest level
sending a crackling horizontal blue-white bolt of lightning curved forward
towards his opponent. The second projectile is a follow up of the first
where Reno does an uppercut after the cross slash sending out a bigger
projectile which count as two.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Kunai
POWER: 1, 2, 4/10
DESCRIPTION: Reno somersaults with a trail
of blue-white lightning coming off his ankles, yet another move from Ash
Crimson. The higher the damage the higher he flies upward into the air,
has quick recovery.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Scythe
POWER: 3/10
DESCRIPTION: Benimaru’s new move in the
King of Fighters 2003 (the Thunderblast Thrust), Reno holds out his hand
behind him and a small ball of lightning forms with a thin current of electricity
reaching towards the sky, he can hold it to pause or release it immediately
as he dashes forward with an overhead strike creating an arc of electricity
above and in front of him.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Discharge
POWER: 3/10
DESCRIPTION: Ash Crimson’s Vendemiaire,
Reno makes a quick cross punch, followed by a quick front snap kick and
an uppercut streaked with electricity with effect as his opponent is popped
straight into the air. Counts as a throw with quick recovery.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Snipe
POWER: 2/10
DESCRIPTION: Yun/Yang's move from Street
Fighter III: Third Strike where they come down from above at varying angles
and speed with one foot hitting their opponent and arms raised above their
head. Only difference is that electricity flows from Reno's foot as he
does this.
SUPER MOVES:
SUPER MOVE NAME: Calibur
POWER: 3/10
DESCRIPTION: Another move from Ash Crimson,
Reno forms a huge ball of lightning between the palms of his hands which
he pushes forward towards his opponent. It travels slow but Reno can attack
with it at the same time and is invincible during the formation of the
ball lightning. A note about Calibur is that the power is PER HIT, the
Ball moves continuously forward without stopping until it bypasses the
opponent. If an opponent were to be in direct contact with the ball they
would be stunned by at least 3 hits performing an overall damage of 9 on
direct contact.
SUPER MOVE NAME: Maul
POWER: 3, 6, 9/10
DESCRIPTION: A three hit super move ripped
verbatim from Ash Crimson of the King of Fighters 2003 where Reno performs
two low “Crescents” and a high one on his opponent without pause and juggling
them into the air, performing much in the same way as Ken’s Shouryureppa.
SUPER MOVE NAME: Howl of Thunder
POWER: 0/10
DESCRIPTION: Reno charges up as blue-white
electricity bursts from his body with the sound of thunder following shortly,
he can now perform his special moves with no recovery time as currents
of blue-white electricity travels across his body. By using this technique
he unlocks “Exodus.”
SUPPLEMENTAL SUPER MOVE NAME: Sacred Edge
POWER: 10/10
DESCRIPTION: This move is actually “Chidori”
from the anime series, Naruto. After he performs “Howl of Thunder” Reno
gathers electricity into his right hand from his body which is soon engulfed
with streaming electricity, with it he dashes quickly across the screen
at his opponent and plunges his clawed hand into them as electricity streams
around his body. Once he performs this move it immediately negates the
effects of “Howl of Thunder.”

STORYLINE:
There are three levels to this story.
First Level:
He is the mysterious lead guitarist of the Japanese Independent Rock Band “Sacred Edge.” Yet at the end of their last tour across Japan, friends and fans are surprised to find him participating in the world martial arts tournament with fellow band member, bass and vocalist, Cana Verdandi. Is this some sort of publicity stunt for their band?
Second Level:
The clone of Kay Lee has lost all his memories except those of the previous tournament and his fighting skills. Dependant on M. Bison for a monthly serum to keep himself alive he is obligated to join the tournament to help M. Bison filter out the strong from the weak and achieve divine power. Yet at the same time he is secretly seeking out a cure for himself or the formula for the serum so that he no longer has to one of Bison’s lapdogs.
Third Level:
The supernatural environment in the previous tournament from which Reno was created and experimented upon had drawn mystical forces that chose to inhabit the two human shells. In Reno’s case a thunder demon which resembled a ferocious wolf now resided in him seeking a real physical presence in the world of humans. It is intrigued with life and wishes to live it, though its memories seem to have been squelched its instincts remain.
Due to this phenomenon Bison’s scientists have been unable to recreate the exact process of that fateful day.
