NAME: Natalie
ALIAS: Mien (tournament alias, and a name
Jin refers to her by at times)
AGE: 22
RACE/ETHNIC BACKGROUND: American, from
Irish/Native American/English descent. Yup, she's a mutt. =P
SEX: female, obviously
EYE COLOR: Pale blue
HAIR COLOR/STYLE: Dark, chocolate brown.
VERY long, reaching to the back of her knees now. She wears it in various
odd styles, usually complicated. For fights she wears it down, bound at
the end and with two braids looping around it all the way down. Unless
the person she fights is a dirty fighter or fights with blades, then she
wears it in a tight braid woven into a bun on the back of her head. No
hair-pulling that way. =P
PROFESSION: No permanent professions, she
volunteers at an animal hospital though. Occasionally she will take the
odd job here or there if she gets bored. She would be a bounty hunter,
but she prefers to keep a low profile. Sometimes she might do an odd job
as a private investigator, though she'd prefer not to.
FIGHTING STYLE: Whatever works, literally.
She adapts to her opponent, and it's not beyond her at all to fight dirty.
However, she does prefer to fight clean if it will work, and her technique
has improved greatly since training with her brother and Jin.
LOOKS: Large, expressive eyes set in a
semi-heart shaped face.
HEIGHT: 5'9" without her boots, 5'11"
with them.
WEIGHT: 120 lbs.
POSTURE/BUILT: Tall, lean, and well toned.
FAVORITE FOOD: Lol, many kinds.
LIKES: Her boyfriend, pets, animals in
general, food, rock music, and her .454 Casull. And her guitar, a Gibson
electric with too much customized crap to list...
DISLIKES: Evil people in general, abusive
people, and evil spirits. She hasn't had the best of experiences with those...
Oh, and being called Nat.
AFFILIATIONS:
With SFers: Closest affiliation is Guile.
Coming in second are Nash (Charlie), Cammy and Chun-li, all of whom she
has worked with. She has met Ryu, Ken and a few others, but has no close
affiliation with them.
With previous BFers: Nearly all of them, but for those in this story so far she is closest to Jin, who is her significant other. She has met Victoria, and had some affiliation with Iwa, who is partially the reason for her coming to this Isle again. She also knew Volpe fairly well.
THEME SONG:
Personal BGM: Walls, by Emery
Fighting BGM: The Clincher by Chevelle
(see below for lyrics)
-APPEARANCE/OUTFIT-
Notable traits: She has a long, jagged scar running from the split of her rib cage to a couple of inches above her belly button, from the wound she received from Zorkaan in BF1. She has a matching scar running parallel to the right side of her spine as well. She usually covers the scar well, as it's one of those things people tend to ask questions about.
She also has long fingernails, each being about 1/2 inch long and hardened with a special chemical/clear-coat blend so that they can only be broken by a rather strong force, like maybe a hammer...
CLOTHES:
In a fight: She wears a form-fitting black
leather, gray cloth and black mesh top. Check pic for reference. With this
(and over the bottom of it) she wears loose dark gray or black pants with
large combat boots. He pants may at times have bunches of buckles, chains
or zippers on them. In the tourney she also wears a short, dark blue cape
with a high, buckled collar to partially hide her face, as she doesn't
really care to be recognized by most. Accessories are black leather fingerless
gloves with mesh vents on the back, her cross pendant and other jewelry,
and her Taurus "Raging Bull" Premier Grade .454 Casull with a custom 10"
octagon barrel, nickel finish and micarta grips, named "Claire." She takes
this off for tournament fights, but outside that, she is not afraid to
use it.
Casual wear: Pretty much any of the shirts or pants from places like Hot Topic, but almost never any dresses or skirts. Colors are usually dark, red, black, dark blue and so on, but she will wear light blue, white and lighter shades of brown at times.
Jewelry: Natalie wears lots of jewelry,
often changes items from one day to the next, all punk/goth stuff. There
are only two exceptions that she wears all the time. One is a white gold
Irish Claddagh (the simple band type), worn on her right hand with the
crown turned outward. To understand the meaning behind this, go to www.celtic-rings.biz/claddaghstory.html
The ring had belonged to her grandmother
and was recovered by quite a bit of tracking on a certain someone's part,
as it had been sold by the state when Natalie's grandparents died with
no living adult relatives.
The second piece of jewelry is also a ring,
a thin, platinum band with a diamond the same width embedded into the band,
worn on the ring-finger of her left hand. Both rings are often hidden beneath
her gloves in a fight, partially to keep them snugly on her fingers. Though
it can hurt if she's not careful to keep her ring-fingers slightly indented
when she throws a punch...
-PERSONALITY-
Often a bit quiet and reserved around
those she doesn't know, but friendly enough most of the time. She is much
more outgoing and less shy than previously, and has a very sarcastic sense
of humor, which she will use around anyone if the mood strikes. She can
provide comic relief at times. Around those she knows she will kid around
a lot more, or sometimes tease them a little. She is slow to truly get
angry, but can be easily annoyed in certain situations. Her gun, for example,
is not something she likes anyone to touch. She worked odd jobs for six
months to pay for it, and is super pissy if anyone messes with it. She
gets that way about a few other things too, but mostly her gun. Other than
that she is easy going, but can be extremely serious as well. Despite her
age and appearance, she is very wise on most subjects, thanks to the things
she has seen and experienced. She offers advice only when necessary, and
prefers to help in other ways, without recognition.
One of her primary instincts is to aid those whom she deems as truly good people. And just as she is driven to help those, she is driven to destroy those whom she sees as purely evil. She is much less hesitant to fight than she used to be, though still needs a very good reason to do so. She holds back less, and is much less hesitant to kill as well, if she sees the person as a threat to anyone she chooses to help or cares about. However, she does still give some "villains" second chances if she feels they are not completely malevolent, after all her lover used to be a bad guy. She is no longer haunted by guilt from past actions, and lives life more fully. She now has a strong love of life, but no fear of death or pain, for reasons that are revealed in her storyline below.
Her previous beliefs and religion have only strengthened, though her view of things can be radically different from the mainstream of Christianity. Instead of seeing the world in black and white, or only in shades of gray, she sees it in both, and acts accordingly.
Special notes on her personality:
Is still VERY much a tomboy-ish character, and is not very feminine in her mannerisms, dress code, speech or anything else unless the situation calls for it. It's not that she can't be feminine, just that she doesn't like or identify with the things most other girls or women enjoy. She does wear perfume sometimes, though, that being one of the only "girly" things about her. That, and the fact that she takes care of her hair, at least enough to maintain such a length.
Is very protective of close friends, but not so much that it's obvious to them. Worries often about those closest to her.
Would be easily annoyed by chars like Shing Venom and Pablo.
Would annoy chars like Yukito with loud music just for the heck of it.
Would easily sympathize with chars like Reno and Ellenore, particularly the latter due to her empathic spirit. However, she would not hesitate to fight them should they endanger anyone she thinks is good, though she'd more likely scare Elleonore with a gunshot rather than fight her, if she found out about that phobia.
QUIRKS / HOBBIES / PET PEEVES:
1. Talks to animals, has an uncanny ability to tame them and can handle most types of creatures. She's not at all afraid of any of them, from tarantulas and snakes to birds of prey and wild cats, she loves 'em all. She cannot control them or make them do anything though, just befriend them.
2. Can pack away an impressive amount of food, especially given her size and gender.
3. Is a complete DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) addict. She is okay at real dancing, but is quite the wall flower. But give her a dance pad and she'll DDR for hours, anywhere, anytime, in front of anyone. She also likes Karaoke Revolution, and is very good at it, but take away these games and expect her to sing or dance in front of anyone she doesn't know well and she'll have a system shutdown. She's quite shy when it comes to any talent not requiring a video game...
4. Plays the guitar, fairly well. Does not do so often though. Sometimes writes songs.
5. From watching Jin and her brother, Astaroth, she has developed an interest in swordplay. She has studied it mostly by observing them while they train or spar, and then practicing on her own. Jin detected her interest and taught her the basics, but she's still not very good, which is why she chooses to carry a gun rather than a blade.
6. She doesn't drink, because as stated below she CANNOT take much alcohol, and acts completely stupid when drunk. Doesn't gamble either, because she sucks at that too, and thinks it's bad to waste money like that.
7. She can forgive innocent flirting, but CANNOT STAND men who are full of themselves. Men who are vain and generally good with other women would likely earn a quick low blow from this one. Or a verbal assault at the very least.
8. Is ambidextrous, able to use both arms and hands with equal skill and strength.
9. Still often wears animal print underpants. Or ones with funny sayings on them. Is a bit embarrassed by this.
10. Has a pet cat named Freckle, but who is more commonly referred to as Baka-neko. His profile is attached to the bottom of this one.
11. Can heal, of course, but also has the ability to spot ailments, physical flaws and diseases, and injuries. Cannot as easily see mental problems though.
12. She has a strong ability to empathize with others, which can be a strong hindrance to her, as she sometimes has to force herself to disregard what she feels and do what she knows is right. This could be considered a weakness.
13. Has a tendency to swipe Jin's iPod and listen to it while he's not looking. Too lazy to buy her own.
14. Often adopts odd pets, especially injured or sick ones. This can be quite annoying to Jin, or anyone living near her, as the animals like her well enough, but are often wild and hate other people. So she usually winds up letting them go (if they are wild) or giving them to good homes once they are well.

-STORYLINE-
For a complete back story, see her old profile at the archives, and read the first BF, particularly the later part of season 1 and all of season 2. Here's a basic outline. Nat was brought into the original BF late as an FBI "agent." She was sent to find and hopefully arrest her own brother, who was reputed to be entering the tourney. Of course, that didn't work out. She tried to convince him to stop working for the other-worldly dark god, Naar, who had taken him when both were children. He did not quite comply until nearly the end of the story. Through him, she met Jin, who was also under Naar's command. He became her protector at times, unwillingly at first. Gradually though, the two came to understand there was some type of understanding -and attraction- between them. Naar took an interest in capturing Natalie and to make a long story short, he did through Jin. Jin saw soon after that this was a bad thing and helped her escape, putting his own life in danger as a traitor. His defection was complete when, near the end of the original BF, Natalie aided many of the heroes by healing them, but was killed shortly after by Zorkaan, who had taken possession of Shadow Dragon's body. Yes, she DID die, but was resurrected by certain powers for certain reasons, which will later be revealed in the story.
The only two people to know of what happened, and to know how it happened, are Jin and Astaroth, whom she revealed herself to shortly after her return, nearly a year after the events that ended the first BF saga. Since then, she has lived in Tokyo with Jin, and the two have come to terms with their feelings. However, due to Jin's line of work they often go for long periods without seeing each other, causing their relationship to develop a bit more slowly than it may have otherwise, though now they are engaged (yet with no "date" set.) She often visited her brother in Osaka during times of Jin's absence. Her life was relatively peaceful, and she maintained a very low profile, not wishing to be noticed by the American government, which she used to work for. She spent the new freedom she has by working odd jobs here and there and enjoying hobbies, spending time in prayer and meditation, as well as spending as much time as possible with those closest to her. She also spent much of her time volunteering at an animal hospital, which sparks the beginning of her involvement in this story...
On a rather boring day at the animal hospital, a very familiar, very inebriated squirrel was brought in to have his stomach pumped. Natalie felt strongly that she had seen the animal before, and upon discovering the contents of its stomach was a large amount of strong sake, she walked out of the ER into the waiting room with the recovering squirrel to find Iwa, Essence of Nature, waiting there. Both stared at each other for a moment with some surprise, before Natalie handed the squirrel to its master. It was then that she notice the strange aura from the former hero, and the change in her countenance. Iwa stood and left quickly with the words, "There's going to be another tournament, soon."
She was gone before Natalie gathered her mind enough to question her.
Troubled greatly by the strange change in the hero, and suspecting it is indeed not a change for the better, she decides to investigate this tournament with the belief it may have the same evil purposes that inspired the last one, as she has long suspected that the villains from the previous story were indeed alive and still plotting. Intending to see that no harm is brought to any unsuspecting fighters, and hoping to find out about this change in Iwa, Natalie goes to (Fighter's Isle? Anyhow, insert location of thingy here) with a quiet dread in her heart, and bad memories in her mind...
-VITALS-
=======================
PLOT POINTS: Hero/heroes' helper
Range*: 6
Speed*: 9.5
Power*: 6
Defense*: 8
Jump: 10 feet, or 3 meters. Higher, if
she has a wall or tree to rebound off of. Can triangle jump as well.
======================
-STANCE-
Relaxed, arms at her sides with loose
fists. Her feet are set about 2' apart, legs bent just slightly at the
knees as she faces her opponent squarely.
-MOVE LIST-
*Note: Special and super move power range
from 1 - 10. 10 being able to shave off half of stamina bar in game.
TAUNTS:
Against Jin: Winks and grins.
Against good guys: Adjusts her cape and
gloves.
Against bad guys: Gives them the finger.
THROWS:
Boot to da Head
Power: 2 of 10
- Jumps up to eye level with the enemy,
places her right foot on their left shoulder and kicks off of the back
of their head with her left foot, propelling them forward as she lands
in the opposite direction. Very similar to Hwoarang's (I think that was
his name) throw from Tekken 3.
Neo Smash
Power: 2 of 10
- An aerial throw. Natalie grabs her opponent
and kicks them with both feet directly in the chest. As soon as she makes
contact, she uses the impact to flip herself backward and onto her feet
when she meets the ground. Consider this the reverse version of Sakura's
air throw, since Natalie kicks out in front of her and somersaults backward
as opposed to Sakura kicking out behind her and somersaulting forward.
BASIC MOVES:
Aside from basic Karate style kicks and punches, Natalie adds the following to her list of basic moves. Most are pretty dirty and probably wouldn't be used against good guys, unless she has some reason to be pissed at them.
Low Blow: Yep, used primarily on men who piss her off. She has two ways of doing it, one where she Neo Shifts to get close to them from afar, then knees them in the groin. Then the second, and her most favored, where she is already close to them and crouches quickly, while simultaneously spinning and sends her elbow to that area instead.
Eye Gouge: A simply mean technique where she grabs her opponent's face and pushes her thumbnails into the inside corners of their eyes.
Cat Scratch: Having a cat has had too much influence on Natalie, since it has shown her the advantages of simply clawing the crap out of your enemy. With her long nails, Natalie will sometimes swipe quickly across her opponent's face, arms or neck. While this doesn't do nearly the damage that say, Vega's claws would, it provides a distracting, stinging pain, always leaving marks and often bringing blood. She will sometimes use this to provoke otherwise calm opponents into making hasty moves, or to anger men or women whom she sees to be vain about their looks, making them fight with less control than they should.
Aside from these, it should be mentioned
that should she be caught in any situation where she is put in a choke
hold or otherwise held in place, she will not hesitate to bite someone
if she can get her mouth near them.
SPECIAL MOVES:
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Neo Shift
Power: none
Quote: none
A dashing technique. Natalie will rush forward slightly, shortly before her entire body blurs into a blue-white streak as she lunges across the battlefield at a breathtaking speed. After reaching her desired location, Natalie will skid to a stop, ending the technique. Owing to its near-instantaneous execution and transit, the Neo Shift will effectively incorporate the basic role of a standard teleport -- to instantly transport oneself from one point to another -- yet is clearly not a teleportation technique, meaning Natalie will become vulnerable for the entire duration of her movement. Once the technique ends, Natalie will suffer a slight pause before she is able to attack, but even with that in effect, she is still capable of attacking her opponent before they can, if the technique is used as an element of surprise. From this she will usually launch into a simple attack that, if it connects, is followed by a special attack.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Neo Blast
power: 3 of 10
Quote: none
Thrusting one hand forward before her, a large, swirling blue sphere of energy will burst into existence onto her palm, lasting as long as three seconds before it dissipates. Should the sphere connect successfully with Natalie's opponent, five equal strikes will ensue, before the energy globe explodes, sending the unfortunate opponent across the battlefield immersed in spiritual flames for a standard deal of damage. An opponent blocking the attack will be forced backward by a few centimeters, giving them a lesser, but nonetheless possible, chance of initiating a possible counterattack onto Natalie. If, however, their counter fails, they will be subject to the attack for the remaining duration of the move. Can negate projectiles if timed correctly, which, in turn, will create the same effect onto the energy sphere.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Neo Blaze
Power: 5 of 10
Quote: none
Lunging herself forward into a smooth dash, azure streaks of energy will rush off Natalie's fleeting form as she draws back and channels energy into her right hand, causing it to emanate a faint, bluish glow. Upon arriving at the opponent's location, and within range of attack, Natalie's hand will roar forward, finding its target in the opponent's midsection in the form of a palm strike. A bright blue flash of energy will instantly erupt from and around Natalie's palm as she does so, dissipating and coalescing itself into a fiery blaze as the strike connects, setting the opponent alight and sending them across the the battlefield, ending the technique. Establishing itself as a successful combination of Natalie's speed and power, the Neo Blaze results inbeing one of the most potent techniques that Natalie holds. However, if the first part of the technique fails to connect successfully, then the drawbacks will become twofold; the most damaging part will not occur, and Natalie herself will be left vulnerable as she recovers, however briefly.
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Neo Drain
Power: Varies, no more than 3 or 4 of 10
Quote: "You won't be needing this..." (said at beginning of move)
She has somewhat learned to reverse her healing ability, resulting in a move that can boost her energy while taking from her opponents. In this move, she whips around behind her enemy, wraps one arm around their neck in a choke hold and places her other hand on the side of their face. She will then drain small amounts of energy from them, until they throw her off or she drains about 10% of their meter, whichever happens first. It's very similar to Rose's move (insert name here, forgot it).
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Fire Raid
Power: 3.5 of 10
Quote: none
Very similar to Jin's Sakkyaku Geki, probably
because she adapted this move from that one. Instead of the somersault
to begin the move, Natalie jumps high in an aerial roundhouse, striking
the opponent in the jaw and staggering them back. Upon landing she launches
in a rapid series of kicks to the midsection and upper-torso, her leg becoming
a blur to the naked eye. She ends the move with a spinning back kick to
the stomach, charged with her trademark blue fire.
SUPER MOVES:
SUPER MOVE NAME: Neo Storm
Power: 6.5 of 10, if the person is caught within range for the entire duration or the attack
Quote: none
Think Chun-li's Kikosho in appearance, except that Natalie begins the moves by, leaning back slight, arms to the sides as she gathers energy in both hands separately before throwing them forward and close together. When she does, she creates a large, pulsating sphere of blue fire. Useless against distant enemies, but quite effective at close range. During its time of existence, which is around 3 seconds, the geometrical energy globe will act like a 'barrier' of some sort. As long as the globe is up, Natalie is invulnerable to any attack. It will negate any projectile directed at it of less than 6 in power. Should an attack of a higher power be thrown at her, it will also be negated, but negate Natalie's attack as well.
SUPER MOVE NAME: Heaven's Rush
Power 7.5 of 10
Quote: none
Giving off a yell, Natalie will rush forward as her entire form gives off a blue flash, meeting and striking the opponent with a swift, yet somewhat strong, elbow strike. As the opponent staggers back from the initial strike, vulnerable the entire while, Natalie will pursue her assault with an expeditious series of leg strikes, based solely on speed, but not to the extent that any power is sacrificed, as each leg strike is accompanied by Natalie's own ki energies, signified by the noticeable energy rifts that trail after every leg strike. With the fearsome siege of kicks drawing to a close, Natalie will raise one leg slightly above ground before she torques her entire frame into an upward vaulting kick, sending the opponent into the air, instantly before the final two strikes are unleashed -- before the opponent has time to recover -- in the forms of an upward jumping roundhouse and a downward slicing roundhouse, all of which will send Natalie's opponent crumpling to the ground. Whilst capable of inflicting a considerable amount of damage onto the opponent, the Heaven's Rush, like most of her techniques, will exemplify the use of Natalie's speed, serving a great advantage in battle as the rate of Natalie's travel and speed can catch most opponents off guard. However, should the elbow strike be blocked, then Natalie will Neo Shift backward to put some distance between herself and her opponent.
SUPER MOVE NAME: Macabre Ascent
Power: 8 out of 10, possibly (though rarely) 10 out of 10
Quote: "You're f*cked." (not something she'd normally say, but considering the circumstances...)
A last resort move: in order to use this Natalie will have lost all concern for her opponent, she would NOT use this against a good guy or in a simple tournament fight.. However, if she should use this, it would occur as follows. She would Neo Shift to her opponent with a dark blue aura surrounding her, but not stop before them like normal. Instead, using her right hand she performs a ki-enforced palm strike to their nose, followed almost instantly by several consecutive roundhouse kicks alternating between her left and right feet, keeping her opponent almost upright with the speed at which she executes them, her body and especially her legs blurring with the movement. The kicks are made stronger by her ki, and her aura darkens as she continues the move. After 8 successful strikes, she launches into an upward vaulting kick, launching them into the air much like part of Heaven's rush. This time, however, when she connects with the ground again she instantly jumps upward, catches the opponent's head in both hands, and uses her Drain ability to combine their own energy with hers as she lets loose a point blank blast of ki on their head and upper body, sending them forcefully into the ground. Because this uses her Drain technique, the power of the move depends on the power of her opponent, the lowest being 8, the highest being 10. If she fails to K.O. her opponent however, she is left with only the option to fight defensively for a while, for she'll have little strength left to do any more Super moves, and only be able to do her weaker Specials until her strength builds again.
INTRO POSES:
Against Guile: Sweatdrops and waves, pulling
the collar of her cape up a bit.
Against other good SFers: Does a polite
bow, then takes her stance with a "bring it" gesture.
Against good guys: Brushes her bangs back
before taking her stance.
Against bad guys: Does the Neo Shift into
the ring, a dark blue aura surrounding her. Her head is tilted down as
she quietly says, "Let's see what you can really do..."
Against vain pretty boy/girl villains:
Same as above except with the quote, "I sense a very strong 'a**hole' aura
coming from you..."
Against various: Neo shifts into the ring,
adjusts gloves and says, "Pull my hair and I'll break your fingers. All
of them."
Against Iwa: Neo Shifts into ring, shakes
head sadly and takes her stance with the quote, "Sure you won't change
your mind?"
Against Jin: Slumps in exasperation with
the quote, "Not again!"
-VICTORY POSES-
Against Guile: Sweatdrops and scratches
head.
Against good guys: Blinks and offers them
a hand.
Against bad guys: Dusts herself off and
walks away, sometimes walking OVER the enemy.
Against Iwa: Sighs and offers hand.
Against Jin: Grins and offers a hand.
-END OF BATTLE VICTORY QUOTES-
Against Guile: "You must REALLY be getting
old..."
Against good guys: "I'm impressed, maybe
we'll do this again sometime..." or "You wanna grab some food?"
Against bad guys: "Evil is not a good
profession. It generally screws you over in the end... Hmm, you're lucky
that's not literal..."
or "Sucks to be you."
Against Iwa: "Do whatever you gotta do..."
Against Jin: "Now, you CAN'T say you just
let me win this time!" or "You owe me dinner..."
PROFILE 2: THE CAT
NAME: Freckle
ALIAS: Baka-neko (stupid-cat, idiot-cat,
dumbass-cat, whichever way you like to interpret that)
AGE: 14 months
RACE/ETHNIC BACKGROUND: Well, Cat.
SEX: male
EYE COLOR: Gold
HAIR COLOR/STYLE: Short black hair.
PROFESSION: Attacking the feet of passers-by.
FIGHTING STYLE: Scratching and biting.
LOOKS: Like a cat. Has a white spot above
his nose and crooked whiskers.
HEIGHT: about 10 inches.
WEIGHT: 2 pounds
POSTURE/BUILT: err... like a skinny cat.
FAVORITE FOOD: bugs
LIKES: Milk, chasing bugs, Natalie's fingernails,
Jin's feet, playing with long hair and jumping from hiding places onto
strangers' heads in full attack mode.
DISLIKES: Bad people, ladybugs, red meat
(mice and such), and spray bottles.
AFFILIATIONS:
Natalie and Jin.
THEME SONG: Oddly enough, The Hampster Dance. Forgot who that's by...
PERSONALITY: Pretty odd. Playful most of the time, yet broody when he doesn't get his way. Oddly enough is not afraid of water, even jumps into puddles or shallow water if he thinks he saw a fish or bug. Prone to looking slightly insane, walks around with his mouth open sometimes. Especially after smelling something stinky. Love to be petted, but only by certain people. Others... well he lures them in with sweet meows and cute purring, then attacks their hand and arm, hissing and spitting like a feral cat.
STORYLINE:
Was found by Natalie in an alley, along
with his litter-mates. The mother was dead in the road not far away, so
Nat took them all in and raised them by hand. After a few weeks she found
a home for the others, but took a very strong liking to Freckle, and noted
how Jin tolerated him more than most other animals she brought home. So
she begged a bit, and they kept him. He followed Nat wherever she went,
to and from the animal hospital, her job (whenever she held one) and even
the grocery store. During these travels he discovered his love for chasing
and eating bugs, and has been an addict ever since. He knows something
is up, and looks forward to wherever his master will drag him next...
MOVES:
Cat Scratch: Pounces and claws any available area of the body. Power .1.
Cat Bite: Same as above, only he bites. Power: .1.
Head Bite: Jumps from a hiding place, attaches himself to the head of the victim with his claws and bites their forehead/face. Power: .2.
NOTE: He sometimes appears in Natalie's intro and victory animations, when he does the following happens.
INTRO POSES:
Against good guys: Meows and rubs against
Nat's legs as she takes her stance.
Against bad guys: Bows his back and hisses,
staying behind Nat's legs.
Against Jin: Watches boredly and licks
his nose, uninterested.
VICTORY POSES:
Against good guys: Walks over and sniffs
their shoes/feet, then walks away with his mouth open.
Against bad guys: Runs over quickly and
bats them in the face, hissing and then running away.
Against Jin: Stalks over slowly, then
play-attacks as Nat offers Jin a hand.
WHEN SEEING MARU: Watches intently, with
the tip of his tail twitching back and forth slowly...
Lyrics to "Walls" by Emery
(not entirely her point of view on herself and the world, but the closest thing I could find for the moment)
Are you listening?
We write a thousand pages
They're torn and on the floor
Headlights hammer the windows
We're locked behind these doors
And we are never leaving
This place is part of us
And all these scenes repeating
Are cold to the touch.
My hands seem to deceive me
When I'm nervous or when I'm healthy
The scenery's all drawn...
They hang here, from the walls dear
Painting pictures, bleeding colors
Blanket the windows...
(chorus)
Sometimes... it gets so hard to breathe
Your eyes... see right through me
These fights with your arms left beside
One thing and one more says goodnight
You've got the map, come get to me
These knuckles break before they bleed
Tear out these veins that own my heart
This skin that wears your lasting marks
I've built these walls come get to me
Come get to me...
Is this your lesson? A slight discretion
The lines that keep you, the lines that
sweep you
Lock the doors from the inside...
Your face is so contagious it wears announcements
It leaves be breathless, I won't forget
this
I won't forget...
(chorus)
Let the walls have their say...
There's no conversation
Words without remorse
And this television
Drowns the only source
Wake me from these dreams
Of you in my arms
To the staircase
Where you hold my heart...
This place, these walls, mean everything to me...
Lyrics to "The Clincher" by Chevelle
Touch
I'll stand for nothing less
Or never stand again
These are the limits when one's buried
This body's left the soul...
Could we have known
Never would I, helped to nail down...
Careful of drifting off
Now losing taste and touch
Turning a pale blue, leaning in to say
This body's left the soul.
The brain needs oxygen
Can't sneak around this bait
His catacomb has got me by the chin
This body's left the soul.
(chorus)
Could we have known,
Never would I, helped to nail down
With nothing to gain, here's the clincher
This should be you...
Now saturate, and touch
Now saturate.. the earth.
Could we have known
Never would I, helped to nail down
(I'll stand for nothing less...)
With nothing to gain, here's the clincher
This should be you
Made cold and crippled
This happened to be, never changing
Holding inside, (or never stand again)
the phobia viewed
Made cold and crippled, ending it all...
