CREATOR: Berthilly

Basic Bio

NAME: Éléonore Dumont
ALIAS: La Légion
AGE: 12
RACE/ETHNIC BACKGROUND: it is said that she’s of French heritage
SEX: female
EYE COLOR: originally blue – black with a red shimmer
HAIR COLOR/STYLE: originally brown and straight cut in a bob – it is now scarlet red
PROFESSION: Éléonore was still too young when she was taken. After then, she has only been used for one type of task… assassinations.
WEAPONS: The Guillotine: A set of long chains with a small, shear scythe at the tip.
FIGHTING STYLE: Éléonore possesses no fighting style or discipline at all. Instead, her childish inexperience guides her through battle. She’s rather silent and careful until she has a sure shot. Once she reaches a perfect range, her nature surges. Due to her age, her attacks can be weak, but combined with her psychic abilities and her weapon of choice, these attacks deliver serious damage. She makes killing an art… sadly, a childish art. Her lack of discipline betrays her. She is far too dependent on emotion, if caught at peace, she’ll be a rather easy target. She usually attacks with her free hand, using the tip of her fingers. When performing stronger attacks, she’ll use the Guillotine. If provoked enough, she will open her cloak to reveal even more power.
LOOKS: Simple… Natalie Portman in “The Professional”, but with red hair. She has red marks across her cheekbones, chin, and forehead.
DISLIKES: Almost anything can alter Éléonore’s behavior due to her autism. Still, loud noises seem to tick her off the most. Yelling at her can be a devastating experience. Gunshots activate an immediate teleportation as a method of defense. Even at a short age, Éléonore has been shot aplenty. Unluckily, she cannot control the destination she’ll teleport to when she’s in such a state of fear (gunshot-provoked).
LIKES: Combinations of colorful, “pretty” lights seem to even her temper. Soothing songs combined with beautiful voices render her calm, and therefore, defenseless. Characters like Victoria or Linda Cath might find this fact useful. As any other child, Éléonore is attracted to toys. Atypically, she relates to weapons far more than she relates to toys. Relatively, blades are “fun” to her. She’s attracted to knives, swords, or any other shear object; THOUGH NEVER GUNS!!!
AFFILIATIONS: She has very little known affiliations. All that is known is that she follows Riq incessantly. Éléonore only knows that her masters at Umbrella have sent her to deal with Riq. The reason for this is unknown to she, Éléonore only carries out their commands.
THEMESONG: Fortune Plango Vulnera – second movement from Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana”. (Give it a try, it’s quite an experience)

-VITALS-
=======================
PLOT POINTS: Villain
Range*: 8
Speed*: 7
Power*: 6.5
Defense*: 3
Jump: About 5 feet

OVERVIEW:
======================
-APPEARANCE/OUTFIT-
HEIGHT: 4’8”
WEIGHT: 79 lbs
POSTURE/BUILT: ... I don’t think she can be compared to any existing characters. She’s just a little girl. Slim, prepubescent (I bet that made you blush!!), and of a weak appearance. Perhaps B.B. Hood from Darkstalker might provide an example.
CLOTHES:
-Outfit: The one and only outfit. Éléonore is concealed under a large black cloak fastened with two buttons over her chest. No one can tell what’s underneath all the fabric. When she opens it, only an overwhelming shadow takes over any sight. She usually keeps the cloak closed, and her face hidden under its hood. When she fights, she reveals her face and her right hand. She will only reveal the darkness underneath it to unleash more devastating moves.

***-STANCE-
Éléonore fights in a crippled stance. She only reveals her hands through the middle opening of her cloak. Her right hand is tightly gripped over her chest, right where the heart is. Her left hand hangs holding long chains with a small scythe at the tip (Guillotine). Her eyes strike those of her opponent. It is said that her stare is disturbing, and she will not remove it until her target is eliminated.

***-PERSONALITY-
Éléonore is a complicated person. She shows no emotion and reveals very little verbal aptitude due to her condition. Still, when calm, she can be a very pleasant child. She will only show verbal expression in this state. If provoked, as explained in the “likes” and “dislikes”, she will become ruthless and extremely violent. If her object of provocation seems far too overwhelming for her, she’ll teleport immediately as a defense mechanism. As explained above, in that state her teleportations are unpredictable. Umbrella has had previous problems with this reaction of hers.

***-SKILLS-
Éléonore likes to draw. In fact, it’s probably her main method of expression. Her drawing skills have not improved those of a 10-year-old. She’s also fond of meditating when possible. It’s not a regular meditation process like that in adults. Instead, she enters trances of self-mental-healing. Umbrella has always made it impossible for her to enter these states. If she progresses and heals herself, they will lose complete control of her, and she will become too fierce a target for them to control.

***-MOVE LIST-
TAUNTS (optional): none.

THROWS: Due to her small size, she can’t usually pick and throw opponents while standing. Her throws are usually aerial.

BASSE: (low) In mid air, she wraps her opponent with the Guillotine and crashes him against the floor.

-SPECIAL MOVES-
SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Pleine Lune (full moon)
POWER: 4
DESCRIPTION: Eleonore spins her Guillotine while rising her arm, causing up to four rotations, each slightly higher than the one before.
QUOTE: None

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Poussée d'esprit (mind push)
POWER: 3
DESCRIPTION: When in stress of attack, Éléonore can use her telekinesis to fiercely push her opponent away, crashing down painfully. She loses the grip of her chest and points her hand directly at her target. Almost instantly, the character is sent flying off.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Encore (again)
POWER: 0
DESCRIPTION: Éléonore completely cloaks herself and disappears. She almost instantly appears in a new location, uncloaks herself and renders herself ready for battle once more.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Faux Levée (risen scythe)
POWER: 5
DESCRIPTION: Éléonore waves her Guillotine from side to side (like a Charlie’s sonic boom but backwards) producing a heavy long-range attack, using her dark psychic energy. Even though it’s not a projectile, it has a longer range than most long-range attacks. This move can be used upwards as an anti-air strike, towards as a full frontal attack, or downward in mid-air as flying attack. Using it in mid-air will push Éléonore backwards.

SPECIAL MOVE NAME: Refléchissant (reflective)
POWER: May vary
DESCRIPTION: Éléonore will place her hand, open-palmed, and reflect projectiles. The strength of this attack will vary depending on the projectile she’s reflecting. She cannot reflect super move projectiles. Such energy is far too much for her to project back.

-SUPER MOVES-

SUPER MOVE NAME: Ventre de la bête (belly of the beast)
POWER: 8.5
DESCRIPTION: Éléonore opens her cloak to overflow the darkness underneath it. Guillotine’s links will break and become pitch black locusts. This heavy rain of locusts will rush toward her opponent. As they fly away from their origin, they open in range. After this is done, she will resume her regular pose and a new Guillotine will surge to her grip.

SUPER MOVE NAME: Dans L’abîme (into the abyss)
POWER: 9.5
DESCRIPTION: Éléonore will grab her opponent and introduce her into her cloak. She will then disappear and immediately reappear. She opens her cloak and drops her opponent. She steals a huge chunk of his/her life force to replenish her own. Even though it sounds like a tempting move, it’s rather hard to accomplish. Her undisciplined moves will not be surprising, therefore, it’s an easy move to block or dodge. If she were to teleport behind her opponent, she would then possess the element of surprise, easing her way through the opponent and giving her the chance to perform Dans L’abîme effectively.

INTRO POSES:

Standing straight, she removes her hood and takes her regular fighting stance.

-VICTORY POSES-

#1: She suddenly struggles against those who mentally control her. This causes her to momentarily regain her true colors (pinkish skin, Brown hair, blue eyes) and lose the red marks in her body.

#2: She performs “Encore” but does not reappear (in other words, she leaves the site)

-END OF BATTLE VICTORY QUOTES-

“…” (sad… but true)

-STORYLINE-

”A jack of all trades is a master at none”. Upon this old proverb, Umbrella bases their project to create true masters of dark psychic power. The project consists of capturing young children, especially autistic youngster. This is the case of Éléonore Dumont. She was kidnapped right after birth. Her mother died at childbirth, and her only remaining parent, her father, was lied to. To this day, the man doesn’t know his Éléonore still lives. Sadly, Éléonore was taken for training. By the age of 8, she had successfully carried out several missions under the command of agents in Umbrella. Like the other children in this project, she grows stronger and stronger with age. This would be a fortunate experience for her and her other teammates. Unluckily, this is not their reality. Once these children grow older, they grow far to strong, and they eventually break Umbrella’s mind-control. The company cannot deal with such powerful strays as proof of their mischievous experimentation. Sadly, some of these children’s services are “terminated”. Some are unlucky enough to remain alive under serious experimentation to expand the mind-control to higher ages.
Éléonore is probably carrying out one of her last missions, if not her last. Apparently Umbrella doesn’t see eye to eye with Riq, thanks to some previous accords that did not leave Umbrella satisfied (see ’s bio for further information). Éléonore will terminate her target, Riq, and return “home” to Umbrella.
