-APPEARANCE-
Natalie has a light complexion, and is
tall with a slender build, which in some cases can cause her opponents
to underestimate her abilities. She has pale sky-blue colored eyes. Her
long dark brown hair reaches to her waist and is usually loosely braided
in the back allowing one strand to fall over the side of her face or held
up by a hair clip. Since her hair is so long, at least 7 to 10 inches of
her hair hangs down, making it look somewhat like a ponytail. She usually
wears dark colors, particularly blue and black. Her usual outfits are a
blue tanktop (not the spaghetti strap kind) with baggy black jeans, or
a dark, blood red tank top with baggy black jeans, though she sometimes
fights in her every-day attire (which isn't much different). She always
wears black combat boots in a fight. When the weather is cold or rainy,
she wears a long black leather coat with a hood. She also likes to wear
a lot of jewellery, but not the expensive kind. She always wears a choker
with a silver/mother-of-pearl cross, a motorcycle chain bracelet (don't
ask why), and a single-charm necklace with the kanji symbol of 'Mentsu'
(Honor) on it... amongst a few other items.
-PERSONALITY-
Natalie is usually very quiet around those
she doesn't know well, but can be somewhat happy and spontaneous around
close friends (which she has very few of). She wears a smile for the world,
but it's often a melancholic one. The only times she seems to be truly
happy are around those who are closest to her, such as her friend Billy
(he's a lot like her, but older and more talkative. Rumor has it that the
two may be more than friends) and her talkative, boy-crazy friend Ashley.
Natalie herself is not the typical girl, since she doesn't even notice
cute guys and actually prefers to hang out with boys rather than listen
to other girls swoon over their crushes (for some reason her friend Ashley
is an exception). Rarely saying what's on her mind, she tends to be a good
listener and finds it easy to develop a bond with and understand others,
especially outcasts, due to what she's been for most of her life. It's
often easier for her to get to know someone else rather than let anyone
else get to know her. She also senses the presence of evil easily, because
of the 'Holy Spirit' residing in her. Natalie is very loyal and self-sacrificing,
willing to give anything and everything for anyone whom she knows is not
evil, especially someone who has gained her loyalty and trust. She never
believes that her life is worth more than anyone else's is, but she rarely
lets anyone see her true nature. In fact, she would rather die than let
others whom she cares for suffer. She is usually very calm in a fight,
but a little more light-hearted when sparring with friends. Is often seen
hanging out with the two friends as mentioned earlier, when she's not alone
(though it's not known whether or not they are fighters also). She also
has a rather ravenous appetite for a girl...
-FIGHTING STYLE-
Her fighting style and stance (which shares a similarity to Sakura's) belong to no particular technique, for it's based on whatever she's seen or picked up from others, before being altered to her tastes. Most of Natalie's attacks are speed-oriented and are signified by the great agility and quickness she wields and uses on the battlefield. Her physical stature gives her the disadvantage of taking quite a great deal of damage from physical and chi attacks (chi attacks take less damage in comparison to physical attacks), and is why Natalie relies on the defensive field if at most. Since her lower body is stronger than the upper part, Natalie is more likely to use her legs more than her fists in a match. Her true dislike of fighting may allow her to hold back at times during a battle, and it's at some points that many of her opponents will take advantage of this.
Natalie has a special ability in which
she can wield blue flames (which on some occasions can change colour).
However, Natalie can increase the flame's power so it can become hotter
than ordinary fire. Strangely though, the flames cannot harm the innocent,
it has purifying abilities and it has the power to heal.
-BACKGROUND HISTORY-
Born with no memory of her parents or any of her life during her primary stages of childhood, Natalie grew up within the care of her grandparents. Living a generally content life, attempting to discover the missing fragments of her life wasn't a necessity to Natalie. However, from time to time, as she became older, Natalie would receive visions of a young boy, wielding dark hair and ocean blue eyes, that kept calling her "sister" and cried out for her. With that memory etched within her mind, and her dreams, the need to search for her past life became stronger…
Time went on, bringing more and more images along the way, which were slowly beginning to become nightmares. The young boy, with the raven black hair and azure eyes, would continue to shout out for her from a dark, lonely background. He claimed to be her brother, but since Natalie couldn't remember who he was, this only made her more confused and consequently, more depressed. Life, and the start of a new destiny, would soon change for Natalie at the age of 17, when her grandparents, the only family she had, died, orphaning her in result.
Now truly alone in the world around her, Natalie would eventually move to a youth hostel, where she met who would be her future friends: Billy and Ashley. For a while Natalie was happy, becoming able to accept the passing away of her parental figures, and generally learning to live a normal life again.
However, due to circumstances beyond Natalie's control, this would be short-lived on one fateful day when a gang of thugs would attempt to violate a young teenager's virginity and innocence, unleashing a part of Natalie that had been long hidden all her life. Left with unanswered questions floating within her mind, Natalie was forced to leave her friends, and the place that she'd once considered "home" to begin anew her quest to discover her past. The mysterious assault Natalie had inflicted on the gang in her moment of rage, killing them all in the process, was not lost on her and with that in mind, Natalie's quest begins. A man wearing a black trenchcoat would find Natalie, beginning the first steps of Natalie's journey, giving her an invitation and money towards a tournament.
Natalie's past will be revealed, as well
as the strange power that flows within her. The lines of Fate have been
drawn, inevitably intersecting Natalie's with a selection of others…
-SPECIAL MOVES-
Neo Blast - Throwing her hands forward, palms first, Natalie releases a large blue sphere of energy, which remains on her palms, dissipating after it either connects or when it's existent for around 3 seconds. The energy blast will juggle a nearby opponent for up to five hits, exploding on the final hit and sending the opponent soaring across the battlefield against their will and immersed in blue flames. If blocked, it will force the opponent back by a few feet but if Natalie misses, then she pretty much becomes vulnerable. Can negate projectiles if timed correctly.
Phoenix Kick - Begins low. Leaving a momentary after-image of herself kneeling on the ground, Natalie shoots herself diagonally forward into the air, performing a fast, forward somersault kick before descending almost as quickly. Her foot will leave a blue, fiery circular wake as she does this. A visually impressive attack, the Phoenix Kick exemplifies the use of Natalie's speed, contained with enough strength and power to grant her opponents a general amount of damage, as well as enabling an effective anti-air status within her arsenal. However, should Natalie fail to connect with her opponent, then her ascension ends, leaving the latter completely vulnerable to assault upon descent. Can strike for a total of two times.
Neo Flash - An adaptation of K', Juni or even Kay Lee's respective techniques. First, Natalie will rush forward slightly, leaving a brief after-image, her body transforming in a blue-white blur of energy as she does so, before fading into the atmosphere and reappearing in another location on the battlefield, the time taken factored by the distance she travels. This contains the functions of a standard teleport, but at the same time isn't one by any means. Upon reappearing, Natalie will suffer a tiny bit of lag time before she can attack, but even with that in effect, Natalie is still capable of attacking her opponent before they can, since the execution of the Neo Flash can catch her opponents off-guard, if done correctly. Although Natalie cannot attack instantly, she has the following exceptions...
... Neo Strike - Instead of blinking into view on the ground, Natalie will instead reappear in the air, above the opponent as she begins her descent. Upon falling into range of attack, she will let loose two swift kicks -- one to the face; the other, powered by her ki energies, to the chest -- that send the opponent to the ground upon impact. There will be a short pause before Natalie will attack, meaning that there is a chance, albeit small, for her opponents to attack her before the first kick connects. If the opponent avoids the move, then Natalie will refrain from doing any of the kicks, and will fall onto one knee before embracing her stance. If the Neo Strike is blocked then Natalie will use the impact of the move to bounce off the opponent, flip backward, and back onto the ground. Both circumstances will leave her vulnerable, however.
... Neo Slash - This time, Natalie reappears with a sliding kick, which must be blocked low. Upon connection, Natalie will plant one hand onto the ground before vaulting herself almost vertically upward into a rising kick, resembling Ibuki's "Kazakiri" move somewhat, and taking the opponent skyward with her. During this move, Natalie channels ki energy through her leg, materialising it as a thin energy blade that runs from her foot as she rises, striking the opponent for a total of two times and completing the technique. Only when the slide kick connects will Natalie do the rest, and she will become very vulnerable to assault if blocked.
Nut Cracker - The patented low blow (hence
the name), is basically the nature of this… ::ahem:: move. This may be
added with her azure flames alongside it for more damage (painful damage
I might add) and being just that kind of move, is purely intended for males
only, particularly those she detests (i.e. those who flirt too much).
-SUPER COMBOS-
Neo Storm - Incorporating a stance similar to that of Sakura (how she stands while charging up her chi for her Shinkuu Hadoken SC), Natalie summons a large sphere of blue energy between her palms and then after a small period, proceeds to send them forward. From her outstretched palms, a HUGE sphere of blue energy will surround her whole frame, (somewhat like Chun Li's Kikosho HC of the Vs. Series) whilst the same, smaller sphere she held earlier will continue to radiate from her palms. Anyone near her when she does this will feel multiple hits, before the sphere explodes and forcing her opponent skyward whilst engulfed in azure flames. If this is blocked or avoided, then Natalie becomes very vulnerable since she takes a few seconds to recover from the release of energy. The geometrical globe will negate all manners of energy attacks, with the exception of SC / HC projectiles/beams, by which the energy discharges present are negated in a brilliant flash of colliding energies. Besides that, using the Neo Storm will render Natalie completely invincible for the entire duration of the technique, which is around 7 seconds.
Heaven's Rush - Starts off with a rushing elbow strike. If this connects Natalie launches off into an auto-combo of quick, short kicks all over her opponent's torso, then yells as she begins adding her azure flames to the array. After a fiercesome multitude of leg strikes, Natalie will throw out a backflip, which takes the opponent upwards, before ending it with a series of Phoenix Kicks. Whilst inflicting a considerable amount of damage onto the opponent, the Heaven's Rush, like most of her techniques, exemplifies the use of Natalie's speed, serving a great advantage in battle, as the rate of Natalie's travel and speed can successfully catch most opponents off guard. However, should the elbow strike be blocked, then Natalie will leave herself vulnerable whilst she recovers.
Mercy's Fall - This is the attack with which she killed the men with, and hasn't used it since. If it's executed correctly, then the following should take place…
Either she waits 'til her opponent charges at her or she blocks an attack from her opponent in which upon seeing an opening concentrates her entire spirit and strength into a single punch (which drains her TREMENDOUSLY). Then, with her entire arm blazing with blue flames and her opponent's temporary vulnerability, she punches the enemy in the centre of the chest right where the rib cage separates, using an incredible amount of power and sending them very far. This move inflicts MAJOR damage to the opponent and is only used when absolutely necessary, as in rare cases can also kill them. If she's extremely angered and provoked then it could result in her using this move, although this hasn't taken place yet.
Death Angel - ???
Note: With the exception of the "Neo Flash",
"Nut Cracker" and the "Mercy's Fall" techniques, all of Natalie attacks
are said prior to being executed.
-THROWS-
Neo Throw - A standard overhead judo throw, such like Ryu's 'Tomoe Nage' technique. Natalie will grab her opponent by the shoulders, or upper clothing, as she falls into a backward half-roll, using the momentum behind her legs to throw her opponent to the other side of her as she reaches the apex of her roll.
Neo Crush - Grabbing the opponent by the shoulders, Natalie knees them repeatedly for some time into the stomach. She then somersaults backward, kicking the opponent away in the process with a tiny burst of energy.
Neo Smash - An aerial throw. Natalie grabs
her opponent and kicks them with both feet directly in the chest. As soon
as she makes contact, she uses the impact to flip herself backwards and
onto her feet when she meets the ground. Consider this the reverse version
of Sakura's air throw, since Natalie kicks out in front of her and somersaults
backward as opposed to Sakura kicking out behind her and somersaulting
forward.
-FIRST ROUND ANIMATION-
Is looking downward with her eyes closed, and her hands are together whilst she emits a weak blue aura (perhaps praying?). After a while, she looks up and smiles (though it's still a sad one) and embraces her stance.
Kay Lee - Eating a burger is the martial artist, and noticing this is Natalie as a hungry expression crosses her face briefly, followed by a small envious gaze. Apparently oblivious to this is Kay, and after finishing his meal gives a small friendly smile to Natalie before the two fighters enter their respective stances.
Guile / Charlie / Volpe - With her hands
placed on her hips, Natalie will casually observe either one of the fighters,
as they perform their respective intro. Brushing a lock of hair away from
her face soon after, Natalie will embrace her fighting stance.
Astaroth - Natalie has her back to her
brother, as does Astaroth, the pair of them silent with thought as a weak
gust of wind passes between them. Eventually, Natalie is the first to turn
around, and Astaroth follows suit, the duo falling into their respective
stances slowly, and simultaneously.
-WINNING POSES-
- Looks at fallen opponent and bows.
- Walks over to her opponent and offers a hand.
- Kneels beside the opponent, and proceeds to heal them using her flames.
- Looks downward as small sparks of energy dance around her.
- Her charm necklace with the 'Mentsu' kanji symbol on it glows briefly as she clutches it with her hands.
Guile / Charlie / Volpe - Blinks a few times with surprise, before she smiles, rushing over to them and proceeding to heal their wounds.
Evil Opponents - A pitiful gazes adorns her face, and she turns and leaves the battlefield
Astaroth - Kneels beside him and after
partially healing him using her flames, looks at him sadly for a moment
and walks away.
