-PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION-
Always wears a pink headband with pink
gloves and he usually wears bright yellow shirts and bright green pants.
He wears his hair in bangs and a ponytail, similar to Fei (Xenogears).
He always has a black windbreaker jacket that he wears until the fight
begins. He has muscles but they are usually hidden because he doesn't have
enough weight on his body to really be strong. He occasionally wears clothing
from the region of the world that he is visiting. If he is in America,
then he wears American clothes, if in Japan, Japanese clothes. If in China,
Chinese clothes. If in Africa, African clothes, etc.
-BACKGROUND-
Young Claude's father was a renowned martial
artist and wanted his son to inherit the dojo. However, before he was born,
his father promised that his son would marry the daughter of his best friend.
So for 11 years, his father trained him in the ways of martial arts. Along
the way, Claude discovered videogames, which set him off track for a bit.
So, during this situation where his father is disappointed at him and where
his son is forced to follow in his father's footsteps, the father angrily
complains that his future wife will be disappointed in him. When the son
asks him the meaning of that, the father explains the promise and as such,
the son is brought to the house of the best friend. The son then meets
the girl at the age of 13, the girl being 12 and he being 13, and then
after many harsh words between the boy and the father, the boy runs away
and fends for himself. A year later, he sees Dan fight and desires to fight
like him and he doesn't seem to realize that because of his father's constant
training he is more skillful, faster and stronger…
-FIGHTING STYLE-
He underwent tutelage with several kung-fu
and karate masters but afterward he surpassed them all. He traveled around,
avoiding his father, and he saw Dan beating Sagat. Afterwards, he decided
that he must learn from this ultimate fighting machine. He always taunts
like Dan but he also knows when to control himself. He incorporates many
of Dan's moves into his fighting but he also likes using kicks more than
punches. He first defends until his opponent is able to strike him and
then he begins attacking. He always holds back, usually fighting with about
50% of his strength, and he is very patient when he fights. In fact, part
of his style incorporates angering enemies (taunting, etc.) so that they
will not be focused. He is not that fast in terms of combos but he counterattacks
very quickly. He uses a few strong hits instead of many weak hits. However,
he does use much jabbing and poking in order to pick away at opponents,
usually to anger them.
-PERSONALITY-
He acts similar to Dan at times but at
other times, acts very insensitively. He is very rebellious but also very
caring. He does the right thing and is a good person, he just doesn't know
how to communicate to people because training with his father isolated
him from others. He is also angered pretty easily but never too seriously.
His voice is very childish but he is not polite. He is more mature beyond
his age but he is also very lackadaisical at times. Very anime attitude
at times! ^_^
-SPECIAL MOVES-
Claudekukyaku: An imitation of Dan's Dankukyaku only where he jumps into the air with one kick and he kicks high so that the opponent is sent flying upward. He then follows up with another kick to the stomach and he finishes by using an axe kick to send the opponent flying to the ground (think Hwoarang's Hunting Hawk in Tekken 3). It sounds more impressive than it is. Opponent staggers back if attack is blocked.
Karae: He runs forward with his elbow and if it hits, he jams in the elbow again, causing the opponent to double over. He then knees the opponent in the head. If opponent blocks, Claude grabs his elbow in pain.
Rakoshou: Claude runs forward and he takes his elbow, jamming it into opponent's back while kicking the opponent's face with his foot. Problem with this is that it is very obvious because Claude needs to be right next to opponent and he needs to pick himself off the floor, as hitting an opponent with the elbow and foot requires to get off the ground.
Gadouken no yowai: This is a shield version
of Dan's Gadouken. It has no range but it acts as a shield to dissipate
any oncoming projectiles. Fast recovery and activation time but it is not
offensive.
-SUPER SPECIAL MOVES-
Katchu Tenshin Amaguriken: One day, while reading a manga called Ranma, he saw the main character's fists moving so fast that they could pluck chestnuts roasting on an open fire (hence the name). So he tried it for himself and he achieved a similar effect. Basically, Claude uppercuts slowly but powerfully and if the uppercut connects, then the enemy is dizzified. Then Claude hits the opponent in the chest and stomach 17 times before finishing with a powerful punch to the chest. (Long from Bloody Roar)
Shinkuu Koryuken: Claude spins around in a circle until the opponent is sucked in. When opponent is near, then Claude leaps into the air, hitting the opponent with an uppercut. It is similar to Ken's Shinryuken only this attack hits three times and each hit is fairly powerful. Another difference is that the opponents, if sucked in, cannot block. Also, when activating, he spins around for a second instead of activating instantly.
Shakunetsu Gadouken: This super requires
Claude to have three levels of chi stored up. Claude grabs the opponent
and then puts his hand to their chest or face. He then yells out, "Ikuzo!"
and then his hand turns into a pinkish flame. The flame creates an explosion
that sends the opponent flying in the opposite direction.
-THROWS-
Claude pushes his opponent down as he sweeps the opponent's legs.
Claude takes the opponent's arm and pulls
them toward him as he jams his foot into the opponent's face. He then releases
the arm and then snap kicks his leg. (Hwoarang's throw)
-TAUNTS-
All of Dan's taunts and of the character
that he is facing, no matter how seemingly impossible (i.e. he manages
to grab a sword from out of nowhere)
-INTRO POSES-
Vs. Most BF's: Claude runs in, trips, stumbles, and then stands up shaking his arm, shouting, "Yahoo!"
Vs. Dan: Copies Dan's intro exactly and afterwards, he bows.
Vs. Volpe: Looks at Volpe's clothing, laughs and then looks at his own. He then laughs even harder and then he shake his fist, yelling, "Yosh!"
Vs. SF's: Copies their intro exactly and
afterwards saying, "Nuroyu wa!" or to non-Japanese characters, "Nobody
can taunt like me or Dan-sensei!"
-WINNING POSES-
Depending on character, he copies their winning pose too.
Randomly: After victory, his father jumps
right next to him and so does the girl. The girl then pulls out a mallet
from nowhere and hits him. He gets hit once and then runs away with the
girl chasing after him with the mallet.
-QUOTES-
"It takes a real man to wear pink!"
"Yosh!"
"Osha!"
"Daijobu de gozaru ka?"
"Uh…if a very violent and uncute girl
comes by here…you never saw me…ok? Please?"
