"You did what"! Chun-li asked standing up. "I have quit Shadowlaw", he repeated. Chun-li sat back down never taking her eyes off of him. Then she narrowed them. "Why should I believe you. As a matter of fact….I DON'T believe you", she said crossing her arms. Vega sighed and sat down next to her. "It really doesn't matter what you believe…because I speak the truth"; he said looking her in the eye. Chun-li turned away from the eye contact and stared at the polished wooden floor. "But…why? It doesn't make sense.", she said still staring at the floor. "I know it doesn't but…", Vega started.

"And what do you mean you want me to help you find your sister", she said cutting him off and looking him dead in the eye. Vega only chucked at her eagerness. "Okay…where should I began", Vega said to him-self more than to Chun-li.

"Okay…it started about a month ago. Bison had just made a deal with a prince of a small city. Bison needed funding to continue his studies of brain washing. So he traded with the prince slaves, weapons and drugs for money. About two days later I found out that Bison wanted to destroy a small island off the coast of Australia. Some spies had disappeared on the island with valuable disks and files. The files and disk seem to be VERY important to Bison. I think it contained something about a dooms day devise. He had no luck in pin pointing the exact people involved…so he wanted to destroy the entire island", he said looking at his mask. Chun-li just stared at him. "You mean…he was…he was going to kill thousands of innocent civilians just so he could get rid of some spies", she asked in disbelief.

"Yes…he was. That's when my sister comes in. You see…I was 18 when I joined shadowlaw. And with my parents have been killed that year…my sister had to go to an orphanage", he said. "How old was she", asked Chun-li giving her undivided attention. "She was 6 at the time"

"But you were 18…couldn't you have gotten custody over her", asked Chun-li.

"Yes"

"Well….why didn't you"

"Because it was either her or Shadowlaw…and I choose Shadowlaw", he said glancing at her from his mask. Chun-li looked at him in shock. He face so changed to one of shock to one of anger. "You choose Shadowlaw over your sister. Over your own flesh and blood", she yelled. "What kind of brother are you"?

"I didn't have a choice. If I had refused Bison I would have been killed. And I'm shore she would have gotten killed as well. So I accepted Bison's offer and made shore my sister was safe. The moved her to an island off of Australia. The one Bison was planning on destroying. I couldn't let him take away the only family I have in this world". "So what did you do", Chun-li asked calming her self down. "I don't even know if Bison knew I had a sister. But I'm almost positive he wouldn't have cared. So I broke into the control room and destroyed everything I could that had to do with the island mission. As much information I destroyed…Bison will be set back a month or two.", he said smiling. Chun-li bit her lip and then asked him "Why did you come to me". "Because…believe it or not…you are the only person in this world who I trust", he said staring at her.

The staring contest lasted about 30 seconds until Chun-li stood up. She walked over to her window and stared out of it. "I don't think I can help you", she turned to face him. "You are a wanted criminal. If anyone finds out that you were even here…I could get in a lot of trouble." Vega stood up and walked over to her. "You have to help me…please", he said looking in her eyes. Chun-li found herself lost in those piercing blue eyes of his. She then brought herself out of the trance. "I'll…I'll………I'll help you", she said in a low voice. Vega smiled down at her. "We'll talk tomorrow. Where are you staying", she asked. "Well…actually…" he trailed off. "No……oh no……there is absolutely positively no way you are staying here", said Chun-li shaking her head. "But I came straight here once I arrived in this city. I didn't book a room". Chun-li let out a frustrated sigh. "Fine…you can sleep here", said Chun-li walking towards her bedroom. Vega's smile broadened as he followed her. Chun-li got to her door and turned around to stop him. "I didn't mean in my room…you sleep in the guest room right through there", she said pointing. And don't even try to come in here in the middle of the night to. My door will be locked. I still don't trust you"; she said slamming her door shut in his face. Vega chuckled. "Good night Chun-li", he said. He didn't get an answer not like he was expecting one though. He got to his door when he heard her voice. "Good night Vega", her voice wasn't loud but it was still audible. He smiled and prepared for sleep……………………
