Masaki Shrine, Japan
11:45 a.m.

Iori Hida swung the bokken at the old man he was training with. The old man easily parried the attack with his bokken and countered with a fast swing to Iori’s side. Iori moved his bokken to block, but was slow in reacting. He collapsed to his knee, partly by tiredness and partly by the blow. The 17 year old looked up at the old man that felled him so easily. He was a tall man in his 70’s. He wore a white kimono and light blue hakama with setta* on his feet. The old man just looked down on the young man with a scolding look on his face. He had long gray hair tied behind him in a ponytail. He wore a pair of rectangular glasses. Behind those were small, violet-red eyes. Iori looked down again with shameful look in his green eyes. “Sorry, Masaki-sensei.” The old man just smiled and helped the young boy up. “That is enough for day, and be sure to practice your sword play in your spare time.” “Hai, sensei.” Was Iori’s reply as he gave a bow. Katsuhito Masaki returned a bow and headed back to the small shrine he ran. Iori sighed and brushed his short hair with his hand. The teen made tracks back to the Masaki house. The Masaki’s house was a large house, with part of it over the lake it stood near. The Masaki family shared the house with five women, all from outer space. Since Iori was once a Digi-Destained, he simply just accepted it with out much shock. There were the two princesses’ from Juri, Ayeka and Sasami, the demon like Ryoko, the Galaxy Police officer Mihoshi, and the scientist Washu. Also, there was the cabbit Ryo-ohki, and the two Juri guardians’, Azaka and Kamidake. Finally, there was the perverted Nobuyuki and the one with five women after him, Tenchi. Tenchi also practiced the sword, but was mostly working in the carrot field. When he was not working or practicing the sword, he was usually found drawing or reading in a quiet place. Iori’s mind came to the present when he heard a giggle to his right. He turned and smiled as he saw a flash of light green. “Sasami, that you?” The green haired girl bounded out of the trees and with sound of glee jumped in to Iori’s arms, knocking him down. “Hi, Sasami.” He grunted out, struggling with the sudden weight on top of him. “Hi, Iori.” She said smiling sweetly at him. “Umm, could you please get off of me?” Sasami blushed and quickly got off the teenager. Iori smiled at the girl. She looked like about 14, but was really over 700 years old. She stood about five foot and had light green hair tied on both sides of her head. She also had huge, pink eyes and some freckles on her check. She was an excellent cook, which was good because the only other member of the house hold that cooked was Washu and Nobuyuki and eating your shoe was better than eating their food. The two walked in silence for a while before Iori spoke up. “What’s for lunch?” Sasami smiled back and replied, “We’re having fried squid, noodles, meso soup, and stemmed vegetables.” Iori just chuckled. “Sasami, you can’t cook a small meal if your life depended on it. Any way, if we don’t get moven, it will be dinnertime when we get there.” Sasami just giggled at Iori’s little joke and they toke off.

Shotoken Dojo, Japan
3:00 P.M.

Ryu grunted as he blocked Takera’s ax kick. When Takera started to pull back his foot, Ryu attacked his side with a corner punch followed by a sidekick to the chest. As Takera rolled back from the blow he started to power up for a ki attack. Ryu sensed the growth of ki emitting form Takera and immediately brought his hands to his side to power up his own attack. As soon as Takera got up, he fired a haduken. Ryu immediately released the ball of ki he had in his hands and the two collided. The two hadukens pushed against each a while longer before exploding, sending Ryu in to a tree and Takera rolling down the stairs. Ryu got up slowly rubbing his back and muttering curses at the mistake he did that caused the end of the sparing session. Takera, on the other hand, was looking at the cuts and burses he got from the little trip he had taken. As for the match’s spectator, Gen, he was chuckling at the stunned look the two had on their faces when the small explosion sent them in to more trouble. The wing-chun master had come to Japan to visit Ryu and an old friend of his that ran an old shrine up in the mountains near Tokyo. He had invited the two last night and they both were going, eager to meet an expert in swords play. As soon as Gen saw the two come back in to view he spoke, “Very entertaining, but ended to early. Any way we must get going.” He got up and headed back to his hotel to get his bags for the train ride, trailed by two limping martial artist’s.

Master Roshi’s Island Same Time

Krillen ducked under Yamcha’s roundhouse and countered with an upper cut, followed by a quick kamehameha. The still smoking Yamcha feel to the ground with a thud. “I’m telling you Yamcha, this year of no training really affected you. You can’t even beat me any more!” “One more round Krillen, best 6 out of 10.” “No way Yamcha, I got to get moven. I promised Gohan I would visit him today. It’s been one year since Goku died and I promised I would be there for him.” “Right Krillen.” Said Yamcha, “I’ll go with you, some one need’s to help Chi-Chi too.” “Well than, lets get gown.” The two nodded and then blasted off in the air, heading towards Gohan’s House.

Obadia, Japan 4:00 P.M.

Chun-Li and Hikari smiled as they walked into the Kamiya Grocer. “So your brother and sister-in-law run this grocery store?” “Hai, but from I heard they are having trouble with a local gang. However, the gang should be in jail now.” Chun-Li nodded and turned her attention to the food they had while Hikari went to visit her brother. She grabbed a box of green tea bags, some eggs, and some noodles. After she had bought the food, she went and found Hikari. When she found her she was crying with her brother, a tall fellow with some short, but wild looking hair, and his wife, a long haired red head that obviously pregnant. “What’s wrong, Hikari.” Was all Chun-Li could ask at the once cheerful girl. “Today is the 10 anniversary when me best friend died. And I forgot, with the mission and all.” “Relax alright.” Soothed her brother. “At least he died fighting, like always.” The now red-faced girl just stared at her brother, and embraced, sobbing. Chun-Li just watched helpless as the two started to comfort her friend.
