Ten years later
Hikari sighed as she turned the wheel of the car to the Japanese branch of Interpol. She joined shortly after graduating from high school upon hearing that a terrorist group known as Shadoloo was responsible for the computer virus that took over two digimon in the past thirteen years, one of them responsible for the death of a close friend. She was here to meet here three other teammates that would help her ride the earth of the evil being that ran Shadoloo. One of them was an old friend known through at Interpol as the top hacker they had, Izumi Koushiro. He joined because he learned that Shadowloo had some of the “best” hackers in the world and he was out to prove them wrong. She knew of the careers of the other two. The first one was Chun-li Xiang from the Interpol office in Hong Kong. She was original born in Beijing, China, but after her mother died she and her father moved to Hong Kong. A master in the Wushu style of Kung fu, she was after Shadowloo because of case her father was on before he was killed under mysterious circumstances. Next was the U.S. Air force pilot Guile, who was hunting down Shadowloo because of the death of his good friend Charlie. He was from Dayton, Ohio and knew how to just street fight, since that is what he did as a teen. As she parked her car a short man Japanese man with red hair dressed in a gray suit came running up to her car smiling. Hikari smiled too as she recognized her old friend, Izumi. He opened the door and helped her out. “It’s good to see you.” He said as they embraced. She smiled and returned the huge. “It’s good to see you too.” “Come on,” he said as he broke the huge and ran off saying “The other’s are waiting for us.” She smiled again and thought, ‘Same old Izumi, always on the move.’
Else where, in the forest’s of Japan
Takera sighed as he shuffled the duffel bag to his other hand as he walked down the road. It had been ten years since Sensei Kazuki toke him in and taught him the Shotoken style of Karate. It had been three years since his Sensei died, his dying words to live true to the scrolls. He had lost his hat long ago and now wore a white headband his master had given him to bandage a wound (sound familiar?). He also had a on a snow-white dogi, tied by a black belt (I’m lazy, okay). He sighed again as he thought back to the time he met his sensei…
Begin Flashback
Takera’s eyes slowly opened and came into focus on the area around him. He was in a cabin alone in a bed. Bandages covered his body, especially in the ribs. He was just about to get up when the door opened and in came a man dressed in a white kimono shirt and a gray hakama (if you’ve seen Tenchi Muyo, he is dressed similar to Tenchi’s grandfather). He looked at Takera and smiled. “Oh, you’re up. That’s good; I was getting kind of lonely.” He then started laughing, as if he told a funny joke. “What I am doing here, I was with Daisuke and the other’s battling a monster and I wake up here? Did I fail Hikari and the others?” He started to slip away when the old man spoke up. “I saw the fight, do you want to know what happened?” “Yes! Please, tell me sir!” The old man just smiled and said “You harnessed your ki into your fist and punched at the beast, destroying it completely.” Takera was shocked, how could he do that. He never harnessed ki before, but he heard about a man outside of Osaka who could do it. The man smiled and said, “Takera” he said, “you have a power that has yet to waken.” Takera was shocked. “How did you know my na-?” “How did I know your name? I’ve been following you for three years now, since the U.S. accidentally fired a missile at Japan. I was on my way back home from visiting a friend, when I saw you and your brother run in to the computer. After a while, I felt Satso No Hado emanating from you. “At first I was not sure, but then I saw your eyes turn red, I knew you knew at least the basic’s of Shotoken Karate.” “What is Satso No Hado?” The old man’s friendly nature disappeared at that moment. Takura berated him-self for asking. “Satso no Hado” he began in a grave voice, “is the means to commit violence for it’s own sake. A warrior known as Gouki once gave into the evil intent, and after killing his own master Goutetsu, he became the demon Akuma and now seeks only to take life. “You, Takura, have the same ability, and with out training you will be a bomb waiting to explode.” Takura had stopped listening and was now staring at a wall. ‘I must not endanger my friends or Hikari. If I fall to this Satso no Hado, there is telling what I would do.’ He then realized that the old man was calling of him. “Takura? Takura?” Takura then got up and blurted, “ Sir, please teach me how to control my evil intent.” Takura bowed and winced at the pain he put on his ribs. This time the old man was shocked, but soon smiled and said, “Very well, I will take you in and teach you the way’s of the Shotoken. “However, be warned, that the training will be harsh.” Takura smiled and said, “I will not fail Sensei…” “Kazuki” he finished. They then bowed to each other.
End Flashback
Takura found himself at the foot of an old dojo on the top of a hill. He was alone, but not for long, for he sensed a strong ki coming towards him. He turned around and himself face to face with the warrior Ryu.
