How sly fate is

I had awaited her arrival for days.

Late. Late, late, late late. Two days now, I was beginning to worry that my Dolls gave her too much of a hard time. She is strong but perhaps not as strong enough to handle four of them...or did I send six? Hell, I can't remember. I was too busy daydreaming about our encounter.

Bursting in, tired, hot and sweaty, fresh from a fight. Her clothes raggled, bruises covering her finely shaped muscular legs with a little trickle of blood. I, rising from my throne, greeting her with a sarcastic wit, a little emphasized pun or perverse remark. She shoots back with my charges, shouting out her revenge against me, getting into stance.

We fight with me annoyingly teleporting out of every single move she does, tiring her out. She finally lands a hit on me, using her strength to balance herself out. I grab her leg, throwing her away from me and she slowly gets up, gritting her teeth. Fighting back against me as hard she could, frustrated at her failed attempts, I tell her that I grow bored and fire off a Psycho Crusher. I hit her directly in the chest, sending her into the wall. She gets up and tries again before I decide to end it, grabbing her elegant neck, choking her. I tell her it was useless to fight against me, futile and she should suffer. She passes out and falls right into my arms, breathing deeply and succumbs to my mercy...

She's here now?!

A beautiful woman, only in her early twenties, angerily storms through the door, glaring at me with all of her white-hot tigeress fury.

"What the HELL?! How dare you! Use little girls for your ends, they are nothing more than mere toys to play with, you son-of-a bitch...!" she shouted. "I hope you burn in Hell, you pedafile!"

I grinned at her comment, watching her as I got up. "Did they give you a hard time, Inspector?" I asked proudly, "I've been training them rather hard so they could be a good match for you...how many were there? 6?"

"THERE WAS F*CKING 8, YOU B*STARD!!! EIGHT GIRLS YOU BRAINWASHED TO SERVE YOU!"

I wasn't too far off...6, 8...all the same...

"Inspector Chun Li," I looked straight at her, "These girls are happy to serve me...why deny them such a happiness?" I knew that would tempt her.

Chun Li growled. "Happiness or stupidity, Lord Bison?" she asked hotly.

I waved it off. "Perhaps you don't know the meaning of happiness yourself, Inspector...I would make sure you were happy if you were serving me..."

She had a murderous glint in her eye. "That will never happen. You are under arrest. Drug trafficking, murder, kidnapping, rape...the list goes on."

"I see. There seems to be less this time around...have I been a good boy this year?" I mockingly inquired. Chun Li raised her head. "...and the murder of my father." she added.

I bowed in her direction. "You shall join him."

She had gotten better, I could admit that. Attacking me from the left, I blocked her kick but she stepped up on my thigh and flipped up. Needless to say, it hurt like hell. I repaid the favor: I slammed my boot into her pelvis, knocking the wind out of her. Getting up, Chun Li tried tripping me but I was too quick, kicking her in the stomache.

"AH!" she cried out and I looked down at her...such a brave girl...so determined and stubborn...

"Ugh..." Chun Li moaned slightly and got up, punching me in the chest before I grabbed her.

"Game over." I told her, knowing that I had to end this: Chun Li was getting to ahead of herself. Psycho Power coursed through my body, entering her's on contact. Her screams haunted my ears, screams I never wanted to hear again. Purple energy surrounded us, burning her skin and soul.

I let her go, allowing her to fall to the floor, facedown. Staring down at her, I saw her twitch. Coughing, she looked up at me.

"It's going to take a little more than voodoo magic to kill me." she weakly snapped and slammed both palms into my chest, I recoiled. But I grabbed her wrist, spinning her around.

"Strong. But I'm afraid, Inspector, I will always be stronger than you...always stronger than your father..." I pretended to sound mournful and she kicked me but I didn't panic. "You call this cheating, I call it oppurtunity coming early."

Power built up inside of me. Strong, forceful power that begged to burst out of me reached the boiling point. Throwing her away from me, she tried to keep her balance.

"Psycho Crusher!" I shouted out and became a wave of purple energy, my entire body a vortex of power. Chun Li was thrown back into the wall, slammed by me. It was probably the last thing she ever saw.

Her eyes closed and she fell, I caught her, Chun Li's head on my shoulder and her body on my chest. "Such a brave goddess. Such an angel..." I whispered in her ear, licking it.

I picked her up and that was the last of Inspector Chun Li Xiang.

1 year later...

My memory, I had always boasted, was perfect. I could remember things and people very well, much more than an average man.

Expressions and facial features, however, I had a unusual knack for.

I saw that exact glare a year ago, one that promised to murder me cruelly and mercilessly. It hated me. Despised me. It would see the death of me or die trying.

Doctors had finally left her alone, her and her bundle, satisfied with the health. I was the last one left though I could imagine that she would rather have over-protective doctors instead. Approaching her, I sat down and kissed her on the forehead, touching the bundle. She flinched, turning her head away from me.

"Let me see." I asked but she pulled it away, shaking her head. "It's mine. You can't see it..."

"Let me see it." I repeated again. "I am half of the reason it exists. Do you want more anethesia or not?"

Unwillingly, she handed it to me, watching it out of the corner of her eye. I cradled it in my arms, watching the eyes study me with curiousity.

"Hello my prince." I greeted warmly, watching his eyes blink. "I'm your father."

She got more nervous. Her grip on the blanket got tighter.

I touched his head. "My Damon. You are truly the son of me." I told her, pride running through. "That's enough." she finally said, anxiety getting better of her. "Give him back."

Raising my eyebrow at her, I smiled. "Do you take me as a monster, Chun Li, that I would murder my own flesh and blood?"

"Yes. Give him back to me." Chun Li cried out, lunging for him before I gently pushed her away. "My son too. Don't be selfish, I won't hurt him at all. He's my heir." I reminded her again. "Sit back and rest. You've been through a lot."

"Not until he's in my arms." she protested before I laid her on her back. "Rest. Conserve your energy." I repeated patiently. "You may be the mother but I am the father and I will take care of both of you."

She glared at me again. That glare is her trademark...

I shifted him into my other arm and he yawned. "He has your eyes." I told her, thinking it might make her less angry. "Your goregous brown eyes. Very thoughtful."

Apparently, it didn't work. Chun Li was still angry. I finally gave him back to her-well, actually, I was handing Damon back to her and she just snatched it, holding it protectively-getting up from the bed.

"I'll leave you. Tommorrow, the doctors think you can get out. We'll have a celebration." I said as I glanced at the baby. "Our new heir...won't that be nice, Chun Li?"

Chun Li didn't even look at me. Her gaze was on the baby but I could tell she was disgusted by it.

Another year later...

Damon was one year old. My prized son was growing up nice and healthy, proudly.

Chun Li, however, was avoiding me at all costs. With the child, she could hide behind him so she wouldn't have to deal with me.

Except at night. At night, she's always mine.

After meetings, my day was freed up. I decided to spend quality time with my lady love.

Strolling through the gardens, I came upon my wife in her blue sundress and hat, gazing emptily in nowhere. Placing my hands on her shoulders, she recoiled.

"Yes?" Chun Li sharply said. "What?"

I kissed her on the cheek. "My day is cleared. I knew that Damon was napping and that you were out here." I explained, "Don't be so rude, love."

Chun Li sighed deeply and started to get up before I pushed her back down. "Hold on. My dearest, you were enjoying the wonderful flowers and I wish to enjoy them with you." I refused.

Taking a chair beside her, I took her hand in mine. "Isn't this nice?" I asked warmly, "We don't spend much time together anymore."

She didn't speak, just wandering her gaze away from me. "You know," I began, "I've been very patient with you, Chun Li, for the past two years. I think I deserve conversation with my wife at this point in time."

"You *deserve*? I *deserved* to be left alone, not married to you. I *deserved* my life. You *deserve* nothing, you selfish b*stard." she coldly said.

"I gave you a life. A life with no worries, pain or suffering. A life which you were meant for when you were born." I repiled nonchantly. "Chun Li, I loved you for a very long time."

"I didn't."

I grinned slightly. "That'll change. We have a baby. You can't just waltz out of here with my heir...and though you may not love me, I can see in your eyes that you love Damon." I responded to that.

Trademark glare.

"Come on." I pulled her. "Time to leave. Damon might be waking up now."

Kissing her on the lips, we made our way back to the mansion.
