"Here ya go, Miss." a burly man dressed in a heavy paraka said, giving her a cup of hot chocolate.
"Thanks." the woman said, her browns hair swishing at her shoulders, rearranging her blue earmuffs. She blew away the steam on the cup and started to walk away, sipping tenderly at the drink.
It was Christmas Eve and the woman was pleased to announce that she had finished all of her Christmas shopping, had no work tommorrow and have all day tommorrow opening the presents to herself and from her friends.
Snow was falling all around her, lightly sticking to her blue ankle length coat and blue long sleeved shirt with blue pants. Her little blue gloves were clasping the syrafoam cup, grasping it for heat.
Miss Chun Li Xiang couldn't help but walk through the park at Christmas Eve- her father used to when she was a little girl. Anyways, Chun Li enjoyed the snow- she rarely ever saw it due to the heat during her childhood so it was always magical when she was able to experience it.
Chun Li shook her head as she walked in the icy cement, slippery. Her hair was freezing, her nose turning a bright red. Her brown eyes was blinking alot, snow catching into them.
Carolers were in the park too- singing little Christmas carols to light the way of travellers. Chun Li always knew that New York had the best carolers.
However, an air of depression hung over her. Her father was dead, this was another Christmas alone by herself without her beloved father.
'I miss you Daddy.' Chun Li thought sadly. 'God, I miss you so much...it kills me. It hurts me to see everyone so cheerful...'
Sighing, she brushed away those unhappy thoughts- no use crying over it now, it was a long time ago he died.
Strolling out of the park, Chun Li found herself along the shops that still had people walking out and buying gifts, still selling items and still telling her to buy them.
Chun Li knew she only had 50 dollars and that was because it was leftover from the dinner and hot chocolate. No use even looking at the shops...
Oh perfection.
Her eyes spotted a jewelery shop with goregous jewelery displayed in the window. The diamonds glittered with a seductive air and the gold shimmered so brightly...
However, Chun Li noticed that the main pillow in the center was empty, devoid of all jewelery. She blinked- someone must have bought it but her curiousity wondered what.
"It was a pretty thing." a voice said, Chun Li turned to the door. An elderly man appeared, walking on a weathered cane. "Yes, very pretty. I made it myself and I have to say, it was my finest work."
"I'm sure it was." Chun Li slowly said. "What was it?"
"Ah. A beautiful diamond necklace crafted into gold and little birds...here...I have a picture." the man answered, shuffling through his pockets and pulling out a picture.
Chun Li took it an gasped. It was beautiful, perfect even. It was gold necklace, the thin band studded with little tiny diamonds, going down into a larger diamond (probably the biggest one she ever saw), little diamonds surroung it. Ontop of it though, etched in were two birds in a kiss, diamonds being their wings and rubies placed in thier eyes.
"It's...so..."
"Thank you." the man said, taking it back. "It was a one of a kind. Very expensive though, took me a long time to make it. However, if you meant to buy it, you're a little late. A man came by 15 minutes before you and bought it- said it was for his lady love. Paid in cash too."
Chun Li felt her heartbeat die down- she expected it to cost a lot...anyway, she only had 50 dollars. It didn't matter.
She bade him goodbye and began to walk home- the night was growing darker.
The necklace still hung in her mind, lingering there. It was the most beautiful thing Chun Li ever saw that was material but...
It would have been nice to see it in person.
Stepping up to her door of the house, Chun Li unlocked the door. "Here's to another Merry Christmas." she murmured and pushed open the door.
That's when she noticed something was wrong.
The house was dark but lights were on in the back part where the Christmas tree was, dimming. Chun Li feared the worst- had someone broken in?
Taking out her gun, Chun Li set down her purse and began to walk silently to the back room- the living room. Her heels only made a soft clack sound as she hit the ground.
Upon the doorway of the living room, Chun Li counted to three and aimed her gun in there. She saw no one, relaxing a little.
"Miss Xiang, if you must act like a secret agent, you could at least do it correctly." a voice calmly told her, not at all afraid of her. Chun Li aimed her gun to her left of the lit Christmas Tree, to the wall. "Over here." the voice called out again.
Chun Li turned it to her right, to the kitchen and someone was standing there, holding two glasses and he set them down. "Good evening, Miss Xiang."
She gasped. It was...Bison?! How?! Wasn't he...?
"I assure you, Miss Xiang, I am indeed alive, you are not dreaming and I really am in your house." Bison told her, picking a glass back up and drinking from it.
"You! How did you..!"
"I am the Shadowlaw leader, I can get keys to anything if I wanted or break into anything I want." he explained. "You seem so stressed out, my dear, it is Christmas."
"I don't give a damn! You...why the hell are you in my house?! Tell me now!" Chun Li angerliy stammered and Bison held up his hand.
"I merely wanted to see you-it is Christmas Eve, I should be allowed to." he answered calmly. "I knew that you would have no guests this year so I invited myself to join you."
Chun Li coughed a little. "I'll throw you out if you don't leave." she threatened. "Better yet, I'll kill you."
Bison cocked his head. "That's not nice. I did this strictly out of a good deed, you should be grateful. Murder and such ill fits now." he scolded her.
Confused, Chun Li glanced at the tree which she noticed still had the presents. In fact, the decorations were still intact as far as she could tell.
Actually, the house is a little...cleaner than she last saw it. Did Bison...?
"By the way," Bison added, "I took the liberty of picking up after you...since it is rude for guests to stay in a unclean home."
Wow. Bison went all out on this...visit.
Chun Li rolled her eyes. "So I spend the rest of this evening with you, you'll leave me alone."
"Maybe. I may spend Christmas with you too." Bison repiled, handing her a glass of wine. "I bought wine from my mansion."
"I don't understand this at all." she mumbled, taking the glass but not drinking it. "This is going to turn out to be a horrible Christmas."
Bison patted her on the head. "You don't know that. We could have a wonderful time- put down that gun, Miss Xiang." he warned her as she held up the gun to his ribs.
"No." Chun Li refused and he rolled his eyes. "Put it down, you're making yourself seem stupid." Bison said and Chun Li pulled the trigger.
Click.
"Damnit!"

"See, I told you." Bison shrugged, sitting Chun Li down to the couch. "I was going to tell you that the bullets were not in the gun."
Chun Li made a little noise in her throat and Bison sat himself right next to her, holding her around the shoulders. "Now, just sit back and enjoy. The lights are pretty and you have enough wine to last..."
"If this is a ploy to get me drunk, you are sadly mistaken."
Bison sighed. "If I want you drunk, I'll force you to drink an entire bottle of wine. Now, just shut up and sit back."
Chun Li hmphed and crossed her arms over her chest. "This better not be long." she muttered and he stroked her cheek. "It will pass by quickly and you'll be unhappy I have to leave."
There was silence for a few moments before Chun Li asked of the time.

"Do you enjoy candles, my dear?" Bison asked a tied up Chun Li. She just glared at him with hate. "I'll take that as a yes."
Bison lit a few candles on the mantle and walked over to the CD player sitting on the table. "I'm sure you won't mind a little music."
A hole in the wall was promptly burned by Chun Li's glare.
He pressed the play button and sat back down. "Have you ever heard a song called Carol of the Bells?" Bison asked and she gave a groan.
The music played and female singers began to sing, "Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells..."
"It's my favorite, personally." Bison smiled, "I'm sure you have a favorite?"
Chun Li refused to answer and Bison kissed her on the head. "Ah, what an enchanting night this is! Beautiful, truly. The light bathes you so...wonderfully, Chun Li."
"Don't call me Chun Li."
"You call me Bison, it's only fair." Bison ignored her request. "You know, Santa might not bring you any gifts for being a naughty girl. Only coal."
"Hmph. You should know, shouldn't you?" Chun Li bitterly answered, unhappy still because she was tied up.
Bison smiled slightly. "Be a good girl." he repeated and slipped his hands over her hips. "Be bad and I won't give you your gift."
"What gift?" Chun Li inquired sarcastically. "If you did get me one, do you have a receit?"
"No, but you'll love it, I swear." Bison calmly said and kissed her on the head. Chun Li was shocked he did that.
"Here's what I want for Christmas." Bison stated and kissed her on the cheek. "You, all wrapped up in a nice bow."
She stiffened. "What? Why?"
"Why not?" Bison retorted and kissed her on the lips. "I give you my gift and you give me a kiss in return, deal?"
Chun Li didn't say a word but Bison accepted the deal and pulled out a present neatly wrapped in blue wrapping with a light blue bow.
Undoing it, Chun Li found a diamond necklace staring back at her- the diamond necklace from the store! "Oh my..."
"I found it. Plus, the man who does these is a genius, the best, in fact. I pulled out a couple of thousand and wrapped it up for you...it's very nice, don't you agree?" Bison asked and Chun Li barely nodded. "Here..."
Bison took the necklace, clasping it in the back. "There." he smiled. "Lovely."
Chun Li didn't believe it.
