Ryu's Adventure - Into Many Realms Ch. 1 - Dragon Ball Z Realm

The dessert is hot, hotter than any normal human can stand; there is nothing but sand and sand. However, there is one tall figure in white gi and red bandana walking on the dessert like walking in normal ground. He is Ryu, the champion of many martial art tournaments, considered to be the strongest human on earth. He is on his journey like usual, to seek the meaning of fight, to become the strongest fighter in the world.

Suddenly, his surrounding changed, still like in the dessert, but there are lots of rocks, tall rocks and some coconut trees. He stops and checks his surrounding. He senses energy, evil energy, not far from him. He looks around but sees no one. Suddenly, there is a voice from top of him.

“Ha, Ryu, my arch-nemesis, I’ve been waiting for you. What took you so long ?”. The voice somehow is familiar to Ryu, but a bit different.

Ryu looks up and sees a tall figure standing on top of a rock, about 30 meters tall, he cannot see clearly, who is it, but he knows who is the figure. “Akuma. Is this one of your works ? Where am I now ?” – Ryu.

“Ah, Ryu, you ask too many question.” – Akuma. He jumps from top of the rock, and lands slowly as if he is floating.

As he lands, Ryu’s eyes grew wide. The figure that landed in front of him, looks really like Akuma, but there are some difference with the Akuma that he knows. This Akuma has pink skin and pink hair, on his forehead there are eight small holes divided equally in two parts, there is also a big letter ‘M’ on the middle of his forehead. He still wears his usual black gi, but now, he also wears a pair of yellow Arabian shoes. His eyes look more evil than usual. His bead that usually hangs around his neck is gone.

“A…Akuma, is that you ?” – Ryu in shock and disbelief.

Akuma chuckles “What’s the matter Ryu ? Have you forgot about me ?”

“Wha…What happened ? You looks so different.” – Ryu.

“Aah, so you do still remember me. I’ll answer your questions, Ryu Hoshi. First of all, this is not our usual realm. This is earth all right, but it’s not our usual realm, it’s totally different. Different people, different fighters, everything is different.” – Akuma. He paused for a moment. “How did I get into here ? I don’t know, I was training on a mountain after you beat me long time ago. Then suddenly my surrounding changed, and I was brought to this realm, just like what happened to you. When I arrived here, I met a creature called Majin Bu; he is a total evil like me. At first, we fought really hard, it’s really exciting ‘coz our power more or less is equal, he got more energy, but I got more skill. Then, after few rounds fighting, we agreed to join, to combine power to destroy our enemies. That’s when you’re suddenly arrived in this realm, Ryu.”

Ryu doesn’t say a word, he still thinking about what was Akuma just said. He really confused, it’s not that he never been to different realms before. He had been into some different realms, like when he and some other street fighters join forces with X-Men heroes, or when they join with Marvel superheroes. But the realm that they went to was still like earth in his realm, unlike this new realm.

“Well, Ryu, what do you think ? Amazing isn’t it ? Now, I want to offer you something, considering that you’re a really powerful warrior, I give you a chance to join with me and Majin Bu, and you’ll see that you’ll have unlimited power, we’ll become the strongest warrior in universe, in any realms. That’s what you want isn’t it, Ryu ? To become the strongest warrior.” – Akuma. He extends his hand to Ryu “All you have to do is hold my hand and we’ll unite.”

“Are you out of your mind, Akuma ? Have you forget that I will never accept you ? I rather die than submit myself to evil like you.” – Ryu.

“You are a fool to reject my offer, Ryu. I have to warn you that my power is not the same like when you beat me. I have become stronger, stronger than you ever thought. I can crush you with a single hand.” – Akuma.

“Let’s see who crush who.” – Ryu. He readied his fighting stance.

Akuma chuckles. He stands still, doesn’t bother to ready his stance. Suddenly, with a speed faster than Ryu ever see, Akuma moves toward him and attacks with barrage of punches to Ryu’s body and face. Caught surprise, Ryu barely blocks Akuma attacks, each of Akuma’s attacks is hard that he feels like being pounded over and over with iron hammer. He moves back to avoid further attack. To his surprise, Akuma doesn’t chase him; instead, he stands still and chuckling. Knowing that he will not win the battle without giving all his got, Ryu raised his power extremely until he changes to his more powerful form. While raising his power, Ryu’s hair and bandana flow like there’s wind blows.

Akuma still stands and quiet, he doesn’t move to stop Ryu raising his power, he waits until Ryu’s ready to fight. After a while, there is a big round white light coming out from Ryu, then Akuma drops into his fighting stance. “Ready to fight now, Shin Ryu ?” – Akuma.
