Few days later, Ryu and Sean come back to Japan. Ryu decides to move to Hong Kong to chase Chun Li at any cost. So on one day after they came back, Ryu dine with Sean, he plans to talk with Sean about his plan to move to Hong Kong. “Sean, I’ve decided to move to Hong Kong.”

Hearing this, Sean rises his eyebrow. “Are you sure about this boss ? I mean, I know you fall in love with Miss Li, but is she ? And what if you fail ? You’re gonna lose everything that you have built here.” – Sean.

Ryu sighs. “ I know, do you think I never thought about that ? But I’m sure, and I’ve made up my mind. I’m sure that she also in love with me, but because we’re far away apart, she doesn’t want to tell me. But I’m really sure about this. And I will succeed on there just like I’m here.” – Ryu.

“Alright, lets say that you’re right about her feeling. But there is no guarantee that you’ll be success like in here.” – Sean.

Ryu can’t say anything about this, he knows deep in his heart that what Sean said is true, although the CEC girls will help him to establish in Hong Kong, there is no guarantee that he will be as success as like in Japan. But being a stubborn and a challenge mania, he still insists to stay with his plan.

“Look, boss, I don’t mean to discourage you about your plan, but you have to think clearly about this. This event can mean a lot for your life, it can make you a big star or a big loser, and the chance for being a loser is far more bigger than the other one.” – Sean. He drinks his sake to calm his nervous nerves.

“I tell you what Sean, I’m a stubborn man, and maybe I’m a stupid one too. But I’ve made up my mind the day me and Chun Li had the first date. I already made up my mind that she would be my mate, my whole life partner. Yes, I don’t have any guarantee that I will success there, but I will try my best, with my hands I will make my own path to reach my goal, to make my dreams come true.” said Ryu with full of spirit and clenching his fists.

Sean, so impressed by Ryu’s spirit he can’t say a word. He drinks his sake once more. “Hmm… it seems that nothing can change your mind.” He smiles and continues. “Its up to you boss, if you’re really sure about this, then I can’t say anything anymore. Guess I’m gonna be an unemployment after you leave.”

“It doesn’t need to, Sean, I’ll be needing an assistant.” – Ryu drinks his sake.

“What do you mean boss ? You want me to go with you ?” – Sean.

“Only if you want to. I’m not going to force you, its your decision. And I’m not going to let you become an unemployment, Sean, even if you decide to stay. I’ll give you my dojo if you want to stay.” – Ryu.

“What ?!?!?! Your dojo, boss ?” – Sean.

“Why not ? If I leave and you want to stay, of course you’ll be the sensei. And I’ll give it to you for free, no charges even a cent.” – Ryu.

“Wooww, you must’ve slipped your mind, boss. Hmm… can I think about the offer for a while ?” – Sean.

“Take your time, but I warned you, ‘coz I’m about to take language course, and if I’m ready to go, and at the end you want to go but you’re not ready yet, I’ll leave.” – Ryu.

“What ? You’re going to take language course ? For how long ? – Sean.

“I don’t know yet, probably about two to three years, but if you want to go and of course you have to learn too, you can learn with me, so we can progress much faster.” – Ryu.

“Hmm… I have to think about it, give me a week.” – Sean.

“As I told you, take your time, but ok, I’ll give you a week. Then, you go or not, I’ll take the lesson.” – Ryu.

That night, Sean is thinking about Ryu’s offer. He really is having a difficult time. Sure, if he stays, he’ll have the dojo, and that’s not bad, the dojo is already famous, and he won’t have any trouble on the finance. But if he decides to go with Ryu, he can either become a winner with Ryu, or become a loser for whole life. Then he remember someone, someone who is in his depth thought, Cammy White, the beautiful singer from CEC group, someone whose smile he likes, her jokes made him laugh, her cheerfulness cherishes his thought. The thought of Cammy changed with his sensei words, the words that he always remembered, the thought that was given on the first day of his first tournament, ‘Fear is only in your thought, when you are able to overcome your fear, there is nothing such as impossible.’ He remembers this, and smiles ‘Yes, Sensei, I will overcome my own fear’ he thought. ‘I will go too, to chase my dreams, to make my dreams come true.’

In Hong Kong, about a week after come back from Singapore…

After the event in Singapore with Ryu, Chun Li is changing, usually she likes to go hang out with her friends at mall or shopping, now she likes to stay at home. She always thought about Ryu, when she sleeps, eats, study (she is 23 and is in college), everything, there is nothing that she does without thinking about Ryu.

One day, Eliza and Cammy came to her place. They want to talk to Chun Li about her strange behaviour, not that they don’t know why, but they worried that she might gets sick from thinking too much about Ryu. They find Chun Li sitting in the garden - her favorite place when she is in bad mood - looking at the fishpond.

“Hi Chun Li, how are you ?” – Eliza and Cammy.

“Oh, you two, hi.” – Chun Li.

“What are you doing here ?” – Cammy.

“Like you don’t know why I’m here.” – Chun Li.

“Hmm… let me guess, thinking about new song ?” – Cammy, teasing Chun Li.

Eliza elbows Cammy on the ribs. “Look, Chun Li, we know why you’re like this, but you can’t go on like this. I know you’re sad that you and Ryu can’t become an item. But you have a life to go on, you can’t just torture yourself like this. What happened between you and Ryu is already past. You have to look at the future, maybe if you two are destined to be together, then you’ll find him again someday. Chun Li, you have to be strong.”

“I know, Eliza, I know… but I...” Chun Li cries, she puts her face on her hands.

Cammy quickly hugs Chun Li to comfort her. “Shh, don’t cry Chun Li, its okay, don’t cry.” She continues “Have you received any letter or news about him ?”

“No, not yet. I gave him my mail and email address though. Maybe I just wait for a while and see if he still want to maintain our relation.” – Chun Li.

“Well, that’s better. Say, what about Vega ? He’s not bad you know. And you two have been dating each other for a while.” – Cammy.

Chun Li sighs. “He is handsome, I know that, but if compared to Ryu, I feel more comfortable with Ryu. Vega is too self centered I guess. He seems only care about himself.” – Chun Li.

“Well, its your choice. Now seeing that you’re talking to us again, how ’bout if we go to mall, there is a new shop that I want to raid.” – Cammy winks at Chun Li.

She smiles at her friend’s attempt to cheer her up. “Alright, let me change first.” – Chun Li.

One night, about a week after the conversation, Chun Li is thinking about her relation with Ryu. ‘He could at least send me a letter or email to me, explain what he feels, what he wants. Heck, right now, he is probably already forget about me, or worse, dating a girl. Why do I have to torture myself like this, idiot… But he is so hard to forget, I can’t get him out of my mind. Aaagh !!! Why am I becoming like this ?' She closes her eyes, trying to hold her tears. ‘Stupid and silly question, the answer is so obvious, I fall in love with him… But I only know him for 2 or 3 days, how can I fall in love with a man whom I barely know… I’ll go bonkers if I stay like this. Maybe I better forget about him, there are lots of guys in the world.’ With that thought, she gets up from her bed and turn on her computer to go online. When she checks her email, her eyes goes down looking for new emails, her eyes stumble on a name that she missed so much, Ryu Hoshi…

On the next day, Sean tells Ryu about his intention to join with Ryu to go to Hong Kong, Ryu is very glad to hear that. Then, after their practice finish, they go to a Chinese language course to enroll. They took a test to determine on which grade they are. Ryu passes to grade 2 from 10 grades, but Sean doesn’t, so he has to start from grade 1. “How come your result is better than mine ?” – Sean.

“Hehehe, listening to CEC songs pays off a bit. And when I trained with Sensei Gouken, he also taught Ken and me some basic Chinese.” – Ryu.

“Ooo, I see…” – Sean.

“Don’t worry, I’ll wait for you to finish, we’ll go together, right ?” – Ryu pats Sean shoulder.

So they learned together, work together, study together. And because they work together, their progress is very fast, so fast that when the course should be for 4 – 5 years, they finish it in just 2 years. And of course, while they study, they also maintain their relationship with CEC girls, through mail, e-mail and telephone.
