Conspiracy Ch. 7

Sydney, Australia…

Rogue is sitting on the dojo floor near the wall, watching other students sparring, she is thinking about Ryu Dragon when the other Ryu Dragon’s team members come into the dojo. When she sees them, she quickly gets up and greets them.

“Hello, mate.” – Rogue. Her expression changed from sad to cheerful.

“Hi, Rogue, how are you ?” – Rinai.

“Well, as you can see, I’m okay.” – Rogue. Seeing her friends looking at her, she sighs. “Okay, I miss him. He called a couple of times though, and he is okay, just getting beaten up from other fighters.”

“Hehehe, let’s hope he didn’t get too beat up, ‘coz I want a round with him too.” – Zarkoff.

“Yea, yea, and lose again ?” – Andy grins.

“Hey, I tell you that I beat him once.” – Zarkoff.

“One out of three ? Not a good score me thinks.” – Andy.

“Ha, at least I beat him once, better than you did, zero to two.” – Zarkoff sneers.

“Those fights weren’t fair, I was in controlled by that demon.” – Andy sulks.

“Alright guys, cut it out. Hey, Rinai, how ‘bout if we have a spar ?” – Rogue smiles.

“Your fists itchy ?” – Rinai grins.

“Well, since Dragon is not here to receive my beating.” – Rogue grins. “I guess I should find a substitute.”

“Hehehe, you’re really miss him that much, don’t you.” – Frank.

“Yeah, wished I can go there and see him now.” – Rogue.

“That can be arranged.” – suddenly a dark figure showed up in front of the dojo, his voice has evil tone.

“You !!!” – Rogue.

“How can it be ?” – Andy. He trembles at the sight of the dark figure.

“He…” – Frank and Rinai.

“But… I thought Dragon…” – Zarkoff.

The dark figure smiles evilly. “Oh, but he didn’t.” Then the dark figure moves slowly into the dojo.

Back to Oakland, Mississippi…

On the next day after the testing spar, the agents and the three fighters are having a meeting on how to destroy the join of Umbrella/Shadowloo. Natalie as the local person who knows mostly about the area, explain to the others about the situation around her hometown and the area surroundings, she pointing on some areas that might be good to check on. Then, Chun Li as the leader of the team divides the team into two groups, one under her command will have Ryu, Han Lung and Natalie, and for the second group will be under Jill’s command and have Ryu Dragon and Tommy Krauss.

They spread out and search for the secret base or any clues that lead to the secret base. They search up and down the hill, the grass field around the town, but find nothing worth to investigate.

After three days of searching without finding any result or even the slightest clue, they were about to give up and head back to town to study more about the area. On the third day evening, Chun Li’s group accidentally found the entrance to the secret base, it was located around fifty kilometers south from town and leads to underground base. Natalie, who found the entrance, was accidentally step on a small stone shaped like a skull and it opens a secret door about twenty five meters from the stone.

After finding the secret entrance, the two teams regroup and prepare to strike the base. They planned to find some evidence to destroy the Umbrella/Shadowloo join force and if there is a chance, to destroy Bison once and forever.

The next day, at night, the team prepared to storm in the base, they’ve got weapons, for agents only, ‘coz the fighters don’t actually need the firearm, in fact, they can work better without firearm. They also prepared some time bombs to blow up the secret base, and some disks to store the information that they’ll look for. They also prepared some first aid kits, just in case they’ll need them.

They were about to go, when suddenly a man wearing all black comes into their meeting room. The man expression is cold, and full of confidant, like nothing can scare him. Jill is shocked to see who is the man.

“Mr. Trent. Long time no see, how are you ?” – Jill.

“Good evening to you all. And Miss Jill, I see that you still remember me. And I’m fine, thank you.” – Trent.

“How could I not remember you, you technically save our lives a couple of times.” – Jill. She remembers the first encounter with Trent. It was a few minutes before she goes to the mansion (Writer – Read RE Novel #1 – don’t mean to advertise, but the novel is just so good. ^-^).

“Good, but I don’t come here to have a chat. I’ve got some information to share with you all.” – Trent. He takes out three small pocket computers, they’re as big as an adult palm, shaped like a gameboy, has a screen and a few buttons on it. Then he put them on the table and turns to leave.

“Hold on, who are you ? And why do you help us ?” – Chun Li.

“Who I am and what I want to do is not of your concern, detective. But if you want to survive and succeed in the mission, you better take the devices with you. Good night and good luck.” – Trent.

“Wait.” – Chun Li. She is about to chase Trent when Jill stops her.

“Don’t worry about him, Chun Li, he is harmless, and I’m sure he meant well for us. He helped my teammates and me many times by giving priceless information. But he is a mystery man, don’t worry about him. We better check on what is in the devices now.” – Jill.

“Oh, alright.” – Chun Li.

They check on the small computers, it has a map that seems to be the underground base map, some trivia words and poem. The map though, isn’t detailed enough, there are only some square or rectangle shapes indicating the rooms and thick lines on some edges of the shapes indicating a door for way in and out.

After checking on the computers, they redesign their plan. On the map, there are three ways after the long entrance hallway, they plan to divide into three groups, the first will be Chun Li and Ryu, the second will be Tommy Krauss and Han Lung and the third group will be Jill, Natalie and Ryu Dragon. They also planned on how and where to put the time bombs effectively. After the briefing and planning, they’re ready to go and feel more confidant with the new plan.
