Town of The Living Death II Ch. 2

Australia, Ryu Dragon's apartment…

Ryu Dragon is playing a horror game called 'Town of Evil', his character is in the middle of intense when suddenly the phone near him rings startling him. Calming his heart, he pauses the game and picks up the phone. "Whoever it is, you better have something important to say, 'coz you just cut ten years of my life."

"Hey, hey, hey, whats'sa matter, buddy ? Hope you still remember me." – A man voice.

"Ken !! Hey, how are you ? Where are you now ?" – RD.

"I'm fine, and I'm in Seattle, home sweet home. So how are you ? And what are you doing now ? Seems you're doing something serious, I hope I didn't disturb you." – Ken.

"I'm fine, just got cut ten years of my life, thanks to you, hehehe. I'm just playing game now. So what is it ?" – RD.

"Playing game and got cut ten years of life ? Hehehe, what game is that." – Ken.

"Horror game, and I'm in the middle of intense. Don't worry, I already paused." – RD.

"Heh, grow up, man, hehehe. So how's your cute girlfriend, Rogue ? Still an item with her ?" – Ken.

"Yeah, she's fine, and we're still an item too. And how 'bout yourself with Eliza, eh ? And any news about Ryu ? How is he now ?" – RD.

" Oh we're okay, and Ryu is okay too, he's somewhere around the house now, probably either eating or training. Hey, Dragon, we need your help, you still remember about Shadowloo ?" – Ken.

"Come on Ken, I'm not that forgetful, so what is it about ?" – RD.

"Well, it turns out that a few days ago, the Interpol found out that Bison still alive." – Ken.

Ryu Dragon almost drops the phone to hear the news. He remembers Bison, how powerful he is, and how he, his girlfriend, Ryu, Ken, and Lynn almost died in the hands of that villain, his future self and the Tyrant. "Are you sure about this, Ken ? He can't be survived Ryu's last attack, let alone survive the secret lab's blow up."

"Well, believe it or not, he did. The Interpol itself found about this, and its not only that, he also join forces with another big crime organization called Umbrella. This organization also made a virus that made a person become zombie." – Ken.

"This is really crap, so what do I have to do ?" – RD.

"Well, the Interpol had join forces with another military organization called S.T.A.R.S. They made a special team to handle this case. It appears that the S.T.A.R.S. members had some experience dealing with Umbrella, so they're gonna send a member to join with Interpol team, and Chun Li, you remember her, don't you ?" – Ken.

"Yes, I remember her." – RD.

"Yes, and she also asked if you can come and help the team." – Ken.

"Okay, no problem, I can come. Who else would be in the team ?" – RD.

"There'll be Chun Li, she is the leader, Han Lung, Tommy Krauss, Ryu, the agent from S.T.A.R.S., and you if you're in." – Ken.

"You're not in ?" – RD.

"Hey, don't make me feel bad myself, Dragon. I got something very important came up at the last minute, and I can't possibly go. So, are you in ? How 'bout Rogue or your other friends ?" – Ken.

"Count me in. And no, Rogue and my other team members won't be in, this is too dangerous, I don't want to involve them." – RD.

"Well, the more, should be the safer, but it's up to you. The Interpol will send you the ticket to Seattle by tomorrow, so make sure that you've got the list who'll go by tonight." – Ken.

"Alright then. I'll let you know tonight, I mean tonight in here. Oh, and Ken…" – RD.

"What is it ?" – Ken.

"Next time you call, make sure it's not the time I'm playing that horror game." – RD chuckles.

"How would I know that ?!" – Ken chuckles too.

"Hehehe, ok, I'll call you tonight then." – RD.

"Alright, bye." – Ken. He hung up the phone.

Ryu Dragon hung up the phone, pondering for a moment, then picks up the phone to call his team members.

A few hours later, Ryu Dragon and his team members meet in his apartment, he told them about his going for the mission to Seattle. After he finishes, he asked them if he can borrow their elemental gems.

"I don't know Dragon, I mean, it's too dangerous, don't you think we should go with you ?" – Zarkoff. He is the holder of Earth elemental power, a powerful wrestler.

"Yeah, and it's been a long time too since we've got something big came up." Andy. Andy has the Water elemental power, he used to be Ryu Dragon's enemy.

Ryu Dragon smiles "I appreciate your concern guys, but the Interpol doesn't want to involves too many people in the team so it will less suspicious. You understand ? Beside, smaller group will be easier to controlled." – RD.

"Well, one or two more people wouldn't be a burden, right ? How 'bout if I'm in ?" – Rogue.

"Sorry, Rogue, but the Interpol had choose the team member. I would ask you guys if I can, but I can't." – RD.

"Hmm… You're not lying about this, do you ?" – Rinai. She has the Fire elemental power, used to be a priest in Japan, but she went to Australia after the last big fight (Refers to Ryu Dragon's profile).

Ryu Dragon slips his hands in his pants pocket and crosses his right index and middle finger "Hey, come on, I wouldn't lie to you guys." – RD. He sets his innocent and serious expression.

After a moment of silent, Rinai speaks " Okay, Ryu (She is the only one who calls RD, Ryu), I'll lend you my Fire gem." She hands out her Fire gem to RD.

"Aww, alright, but next time make sure that they reserved a place for us." – Andy. He hands out his Water gem.

"I'll try my best." – RD grins. He takes the elemental gems from Rinai and Andy.

"Ok, and kick those baddies *sses for me." – Frank. He hands out his Lighting gem.

"I will, Frank, providing they turn their back on me." – RD grins and takes the Lighting gem.

"Tsk, I really wish I can go, I need some workouts." – Zarkoff as he hands out his Earth gem.

Ryu Dragon takes the Earth gem. "Hehehe, its not like you can't do that here, you've got a daughter who's a marvelous wrestler, and a great future son-in-law with you." – RD grins at Frank who is blushed badly.

"It's still not the same. *Sigh* I miss the time I fought you." – Zarkoff.

"Later on when I come back, we will have a round." – RD smiles. He looks at Rogue staring at the floor. "Rogue, are you okay ?" – RD.

She stops pondering "What ? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I…" – She shakes her head and takes out her Wind gem and hands it to Ryu Dragon. "Here."

"Thanks, Rogue." – RD takes the Wind gem. "Now, I guess we'll have a bit party, eh ? Pizza anyone ? On me."

"Alright !!!!" – Zarkoff, Frank and Andy at the same time. At that moment, Ryu Dragon feels sorry that he ever offers to pay for the pizzas.

After the little party, Zarkoff, Frank, Andy and Rinai went back to their places, while Rogue still stays and helps clean up. After finish clean up, Rogue goes to the balcony and ponders while Ryu Dragon packs up and calls Ken, he asked Ken not to tell Rogue or his team members if they ever calls and asked the truth about what Ryu Dragon said about the team member selecting. After finish packing, he goes to the balcony, hugs Rogue from behind and kisses her cheek.

"What are you pondering about, milady ?" – RD.

"Nothing, just watching the full moon, it's beautiful." – Rogue.

"Yes, it's beautiful. But I want to know what's on your mind now." – RD.

"I…I just… I just worried about your mission. It's too dangerous, Dragon." – Rogue.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't worry, I'll come back, and alive and in one piece. I promise you." – RD.

"I… I don't know, I mean I have faith in you, but it's just… *Sigh*." – Rogue.

"No buts, girl, I promised you I'll be alright and come back and I will keep it, no matter what'll happen." – RD.

Rogue turns and stares at Ryu Dragon "I… I guess yeah, its ok. You've been through things like this alone, and you survived."

He smiles and rubs her hair, then pulls her head to his chest to assured her "Yes I had, and this time I'll survive again." – RD.

Leaning on her lover's warm chest, she feels calm and safe "Dragon… I have a request." – Rogue.

"What is it ?" – RD.

"Let me stay here tonight." – Rogue. She looks up and stares at Ryu Dragon.

"Err… I don't mind, but you better ask your parents first." – RD.

"I will, but promise that you won't sleep on the couch, like last time." – Rogue.

"Err… ok I promise." – RD.

"Or on the floor or the balcony or bathroom or somewhere else. Sleep with me, tonight." – Rogue.

Blushing hardly, Ryu Dragon replies "Gosh, you're so aggressive today. What gives ?"

"Come on, promise me, or I won't let you go." – Rogue.

"Oww, alright, but you have to call your parents first." – RD hoping that her parents won't give the permission. It's not that he doesn't want Rogue to stay over and sleep together, but he just wants to control and avoid anything that can lead to 'dangerous' things.

"Alright, I'll call them." – Rogue cheerfully. They go to the living room and Rogue calls her parents to ask for permission to stay over. Ryu Dragon is listening from the other phone. He surprised that Rogue got the permission. He feels tired just from thinking on how he has to control himself.

The next day in the afternoon at Sydney's airport…

Ryu Dragon and his team are waiting for Ryu Dragon's flight. His team comes to say good bye. They're chatting while waiting for the call. Ryu Dragon chats with Zarkoff, while the others chat separately.

"Hey, Dragon, what's with you ?" – Zarkoff.

"Me ? What's wrong with me ?" – RD.

"You tell me, you've got black circles around your eyes." – Zarkoff.

"Oh, just lack of sleep." – RD. He rubs his eyes.

"Was Rogue stay overnight ?" – Zarkoff.

Ryu Dragon chokes "How did you know ?"

"Never mind that, so what did you two do last night ?" – Zarkoff grins evilly.

"Nothing, we…just talking." – RD.

"Really ? And how come she doesn't get those black circles ?" – Zarkoff.

" *Sigh* Aww, alright, she and I… well…we slept together… I mean on the same bed. But we didn't do anything, honest." – RD. Seeing Zarkoff still staring at him, he continues "And don't look at me like that, you know me."

"Hehehe, just kidding, buddy. But how come you've got that black circles ?" – Zarkoff.

"Well, I… I can't get to sleep. You know, nervous, things like that…" – RD.

"Hehehe, okay, okay, I can understand. Hey, your flight is now." – Zarkoff.

After saying good byes and hugs, kisses and handshakes (you know), RD goes through the gate. He waves once more to his team, then goes for his flight.
