Conspiracy Ch. 12

Ryu, Chun Li, Jill and Natalie are now searching for Ryu Dragon, Bison and the head of the Umbrella; they’ve sent Tommy to go out the base, just in case Han Lung, the other agent needs help. There were not many enemies along the way except for the normal guards, which are easily defeated. While searching around, they found the way is separated to two ways, so they break into two groups, Ryu goes with Chun Li, while Jill goes with Natalie.

Jill and Natalie ends up in a room that looks like a really modern laboratory, there are lots of computers and machines, and there is a door opposite the door that they came from. In the room near the wall, there is someone standing facing them, he is a man, about thirty years old, he wears a white shirt, black suit, black pant, a red and green stripe tie, a sunglasses and black shoes.

“Welcome, to our secret lab, agent Jill ?” – man.

“Who are you ? How do you know my name ?” – Jill.

“My apologies, my name is Jackson and I’m the head of Umbrella. And of course I know your name, you’re a hard customer for us.” – Jackson.

“You are the head of Umbrella ? Then you better come with us, ‘buddy’ ‘coz you’ve got a lot to tell.” – Jill walks toward Jackson and pointing her gun at him, Natalie follows behind her.

Jackson smirks. “I’ve got something to show you, agent Jill. Something very interesting.”

Both women stop. “What ? Another crazy creation of yours ?” – Jill.

“Sort of like that, and I thought you might be interested about your friend, what’s his name ? Chris Redfield ?” – Jackson.

Jill’s heart beat hard in a sudden, she got a bad feeling from what Jackson was said. But she suppresses the feeling. “What ? What do you know about him ?”

“Oh, I know a lot. I think… more than you do.” – Jackson. He claps once, and suddenly the door behind him opens. From behind the door, a creature comes in. The creature is huge, shaped like a giant human, about seven feet tall and full of muscles. Its skin color mostly is purple, and some parts are red or black. Its hair is long, and there is a claw-like bone on its right backhand. It wears a bulletproof vest that is obviously designed for it. On its left shoulder near the heck, there is a face, a face that Jill knows very well, the face of a man that she misses a lot, the face of a man that came to her dreams on most of her sleep.

It is Chris Redfield face.

Ryu and Chun Li meet a dead end on their way, where there is supposed to be a huge room according to the map that Trent gave to them before they came to the secret base.

“Maybe it's a mistake ?” – Ryu. He looks around but sees nothing but walls.

“I don’t think so. Jill said that every information that this Trent guy gave out always accurate and… hmmm… I wonder.” – Chun Li.

“What is it ?” – Ryu.

Chun Li flips through the information in the small computer that Trent gave. She read some of the clues and trivia in the computer. “I think there is some secret way to get inside, probably from this clues, we can find the way to get into the room.”

They read a line in the computer it says Right down three knocks, left down three circles to the right, middle three taps and the gate will be opened. The clues and the trivia confuse them, there is only a flat wall in front of them. What and where to knock ? What’s to turn ? And where to tap ? They tried to find if there is any hidden panel or button around them but can’t find any. Feeling frustrated, they sit on the floor and talk about it.

“I’m confused, the first clue said to knock three times on the right down, but right down of what ? If it means on the wall, there supposed to be a panel or something.” – Chun Li.

“Right down, that was supposed to mean on the right down corner of the wall.” – Ryu.

“Yes, but we’ve checked, there is nothing that can be a clue or something to do with.” – Chun Li. Suddenly she stands up. “Wait a minute… Let’s see…Right down three knocks.” She walks to the right corner, kneels down and knocks on the right down corner of the wall three times.

Suddenly, there is a sound of something moving, like a machine or engine. They look around but don’t see anything changed. Chun Li looks disappointed.

“I guess I was wrong.” – Chun Li. She sits again on the floor near Ryu.

It was dark in the corner or the hallway. Ryu focuses his gaze on something on the left down corner of the wall. “What is that thing ?” He points at the left down corner of the wall.

“What ?” – Chun Li looks at where Ryu’s pointing. They both get up and check on the wall, there is a small handle, about five centimeters long and half centimeter in diameter. “I didn’t see this handle when I checked on the wall.” – Ryu.

“Hmm… must be something important, probably that's the second clue. Try to turn it, Ryu.” – Chun Li.

Ryu turns the handle clockwise three times, and suddenly after he turns it, again a sound of machine or engine pops out. This time there is a red light pops out on the middle of the wall.

“We found it !!! We found it, Ryu !!! That’s the last clue.” – Chun Li jumps in excitement. “Wow, this place is surely hard to guess, if we hadn’t had the clue, we wouldn’t have found the secret room.”

“Yes, now the last part is tap three times.” – Ryu. He tries to reach for the light, but it is positioned too high that he has to jump to reach it. After tapping three times, the wall moves up, revealing a huge gigantic room, The room is set in medieval castle background. Inside the room, Bison is standing waiting for them.

“Welcome to my castle. What took you two so long ?” – Bison grins psychotically.

Ryu Dragon is standing near the fire from the grenade explosion that almost killed him. He is facing the guards and Daimajin. He carries Rogue’s lifeless body with his both hands. His gaze is sharp like a blade that can thrust into someone. Some of the guards, feeling afraid by his gaze, aim their weapons at him and ready to shoot.

“If anyone foolish enough to shoots at him, I’ll kill him with my own hands.” – Daimajin. The guards heard his threat and pull their weapons down.

Ryu Dragon slowly puts Rogue’s body on the floor, wipes his blood tears, kiss Rogue once on the lips and stands up. He runs toward Daimajin and jumps, then kicks him on the head. Daimajin lets the kick hits, then using his energy and combines with the ice elemental power from the Ice gem, he blows Ryu Dragon back. Ryu Dragon flips in the air and lands on his feet, kneeling down. Using his chi power he repels the cold effect, then stands up.

Daimajin grins. “How does it feel, refreshing ? Without this gems, you won’t stand a chance against me.” He shows the gems that are attached to Ryu Dragon’s gloves.

Ryu Dragon silent. Then he lifts his right arm to shoulder level, extends it toward Daimajin. Suddenly, the gloves fly from Daimajin’s hands toward Ryu Dragon. He catches the gloves with his right hand.

Daimajin is caught surprise. “How ?”

Ryu Dragon puts on his gloves. “The Soul gem is linked to my soul. I can call it anywhere and anytime I want. And because it’s attached to the gloves, so automatically the gloves also pulled along with the gem.” He tightens his headband and readies into his fighting stance. “Now, get ready to die, Daimajin.”
