The year was 2XXX. Inside a secret base on the Earth's moon, a man sat on a metallic hovering chair. He was a big and strong looking man by any standard of human race. His strong and sadistic looking face was covered by his red army cap. He wore a set red army uniform, a pair of black boots with metallic cover from shin to the foot part, and a long gray cape. He held a glass of red wine that looked more like blood.

In front of him was a gigantic computer monitor, showing a gigantic robot. He drew the glass toward his lips and sipped the wine a bit. Looking at the gigantic robot, he smiled satisfactorily. He was recalling on the time when he got the monstrous gigantic robot. It was an irony; really, the UNE (United Nations of Earth) created the gigantic robot to battle his crime organization. Now, he managed to steal the robot and use it on them.

It was not without cost though, his number one henchman, Sagat was nearly killed when they were attacking the UNE base. Sagat's robot, Bal Series, was destroyed by the strongest robot guard in UNE, Mazinga Z. The pilot was a very talented and resourceful man, Ryu Hoshi. He and his cursed friend Ken Masters with his robot, Daitan 3, managed defeating Sagat's Bal Series, Vega's Cypher, and wiping out almost half of the attacker army without so much breaking a sweat. And for a pilot that controlled a super robot, Ryu Hoshi was indeed a thorn in his grandmaster plan.

It doesn't matter, he thought, he already got the perfect weapon, besides, Sagat's and Vega's robots could be restored easily. He laughed. Imagining what he would do with it, he had yet to analyze the robot's capabilities, but from what he gathered already, the robot was a nearly the most powerful and perfect destructive weapon on earth.
