For the Fight Ch.4
By RC
Ryu's eyes flashed red in anger and he slowly curled his fingers around the
small metal insignia of Shadowloo in his fist. A soft bending sound issued from
his fist and Ken looked at him in alarm. Balrog and his English friend both had
evil smiles on their faces, clearly enjoying the fighter's anger.
Ken snarled an obsenity at Balrog which only made him laugh harder. Ken
swiftly snapped his leg out, hitting Balrog and Birdie simultaniously. Birdie
wiped the blood from his nose and stared at Balrog as if looking for direction.
Balrog spat blood at Ken and shook his head.
"No," he said. "Bison said not to get into a fight."
Ken smirked then and said, "Sheeeeah, you just know you'll get your *ss
whooped."
Balrog clenched his heavily taped fists and said, "Shut up fool!! I am
the heavyweight champion of the..."
"Yeah right, because you padded your gloves with brass knuckles
chump."
Balrog lost it. He lunged at Ken then with a left jab which connected. Ken
avoided the next jab and the right hook that followed, but was caught
comnpletely unaware when Balrog threw a kick at him. Ken felt the air whoosh
out of him and keeled over. Balrog reared back and was about to connect with
the mother of all dashing straight punches, when Ryu caught his taped fist.
Ryu's eyes flashed red again for a second and Balrog's hand started making
popping noises at the strength of Ryu's impossibly strong grip.
Balrog screamed at Ryu in pain ad anger as he felt his bones screaming in
protest against the pressure. Ryu then kicked Balrog hard in the ribs, sending
him into Birdie.
Birdie was torn between fighting and following orders and decided to follow
the will of his Master. He picked up Balrog and they ran down the alley.
Ryu simply looked after them, but Ken ran after. A few minutes later Ken
returned and shook his head.
"They're gone."

"I hate to leave at a time like this Ryu, but after all it is my
honeymoon and Bison won't do anything for a while." Ken said as they
stopped in front of Ryu's hotel.
Ryu nodded. "I will see you soon Ken, we will talk about this."
Ryu turned then to go into the hotel.
"Ryu."
"Yeah Ken?"
"You're okay, right buddy?"
Ryu shrugged and said, "Goodbye Ken."
Then he turned and walked inside, leaving his friend standing there.

It was two o' clock in the morning and Ryu was still tossing. He still wore
his gi pants as well as a black tank top with his belt. His Gi top was draped
over him like a cover as he tried to fall asleep. Ryu sat up and reached for
the remote to the television. He looked around for it and spied it on the small
table near the door.
Ryu leaned over to grab it, until he saw shadows under the door. He looked
through the peephole, but it was completely black. Ryu saw the shadows under
the door shift and decided what to do.
