For the Fight Ch.33

Ryu arched an eyebrow. "Shopping?" Chun Li nodded happily and said, "New York is one of the best places on the planet to shop in. And as soon as you're not sore anymore, you are coming with me!" Ryu thought of an excuse. And thought of an excuse and then he had it. (TRAINING)

"Um, Chun Li..." he said. She turned her bright eyes to him and asked, "Yes?" Ryu fidgeted with his fork and said, "I can't go shopping...I have to train." He had thought it was a good answer. It was really the only thing he ever did, so it was his only excuse. He thought she would understand and dismiss him from the trip. Then his ear drums exploded.

"Oh no you're not! The last time You trained you set the couch on fire! Do you have any clue how much that couch is going to cost me!?! And another thing, I'm responsible for you, so you have to do whatever the hell I tell you to! And if you don't, I'll handcuff your narrow-minded a$$ to your bed, where I can keep a *bleeeeeeep*ing eye on you! And the next time you..."

Ryu's poor abused eard were given a sorely needed break when there was a knock on their door. Chun Li opened it and gave the teenager with their food tray a sweet smile as she accepted it. The boy's eyes lit up at her attire, just before the door was slammed in his face. Chun Li happily set the tray down and handed him his plate full of steamy hot food. Ryu picked a fork up and prepared to plunge it in his food when Chun Li picked up where she left off.

"...go up on some roof, I'm going to shove you off! So no, you're not training today, and no, you're not fighting today, and yes, you're coming with me!!"

Then she asked politely if he could pass her a fork. Ryu complied and she thanked him in a kind voice. Ryu marveled at her mood swings.

After he ate, Chun Li helped him to his room and let him lay down. She smiled and said, "I'll wake you up in a few hours. Ryu grimaced. He could imagine what they would be doing in a few hours. Then he let his eyes close and had knightmares about Calvin Klien, Tiffany's, the GAP, Macy's, and worse.

Ryu smelled a sweet sent of shampoo and then a gentle hand touched his shoulder and roused him from sleep. Ryu opened his eyes and knew that he was in top shape. All soreness and pain was gone and he felt great. Chun Li smiled down at him and said, "Are you ready, it's time to go shopping!" Ryu faked a groan and said, "No, I still feel awfull."

Chun Li made a sympathetic sound and touched his face, "Okay, I'll just cancel for today. You get some rest." She smiled again and left the room. Ryu cheered silently and then laid back to rest. *Now, I have to train quietly so she wont hear me.* Ryu slipped out of bed and started a kata.

"RYU!! IT'S GOUKI, HELP!!!!" he heard Chun Li scream, followed by a loud crash. Ryu vaulted out of the room ran down the hall at break neck speed. Then he turned a corner and... and... *shit.* Chun Li was standing in the kitchen area in front of the small refrigerator, which she had knocked over. Her hands were on her hips and she smiled evily. "Get dressed Ryu, It seems you're feeling better already. I guess you can accompany me shopping after all." she said in a voice that oozed of warmth and kindness. She stepped up to him and grasped his face tenderly.

She gave him a sad smile and said, "Don't mess with a pro Ryu." She gripped his hand then and led him to his room. She smiled at him again and said, "And I don't want that martial arts getup. You're going to wear some normal clothes. Ryu stopped outside his room and said, "But I really don't want to wear..." Chun Li grabbed him around the waist and yanked him inside and closed the door after her. "Now, let's see..."
