Ryu couldn’t believe it. Him, The World Warrior, was being beaten by some Hong Kong bigshot. All he wanted was a simple street fight with Fei-Long, now he was almost out of energy, and he was still going strong. Ryu did land a couple on him, but only when he followed his own instinct, and not what his teacher, Gouken, taught him, which he was told was wrong.
“I’ve defeated many people. M. Bison died at my hand. I can match power with Akuma. I have never lost before. How is it am movie star is able to take everything I use and throw it back at me?” Ryu thought. Fei-Long stood right across from him, wearing a pair of black kung-fu pants. His face was calm as he bounced slightly on the balls of his feet.
“I must win.”
Ryu than ran at him and jumped in the air to do a flying sidekick at him. He was to hit, when Fei-Long dropped to the ground and shot a foot upwards, catching Ryu in the groin. As Ryu hit the ground, he questioned on how he moved so quick. “His style is unorthodox.” Fei-Long was already up, waiting for Ryu. He got up slowly, trying to ignore the pain.
“Gouken, please give me strength.”
Ryu than entered his fighting stance, waiting for Fei-Long to make hisFei-Long than went forward and threw a right lead at his face. Just as Ryu moved to block it, suddenly the hand drew make, and Ryu felt the roundhouse kick hit his ribs. “He faked me out”, Ryu thought, as he held his ribs. “ Time to get serious,” he thought as he started to charge up a hadoken. This did not go unnoticed by Fei-Long, who waited to see wait he doing. “FOOL,” Ryu shouted as he fired off his hadoken. “Got em.” Ryu thought as his projectile flew at him. However, Fei-Long just jumped over it and did a flying sidekick, right in Ryu’s face.
“I got one more attack. Gotta, use it,” he muttered under his breath as he got up. He than started to channel his ki into one of his elbows, which he drew back. He dropped his other hand to his hip. Fei-Long started to move slowly to him. Ryu just let out a small smile. “I can’t miss,” he though as he let loose the Shin Shoryuken.
Fei –Long just shook his head as the elbow came closer. “Too many openings. Ryu, you dissapoint me. You should that you you can’t rely on a technique to attain victory.” He then shot out sidekick that connected with Ryu’s kneecap. The attack stopped. “Now to finish this.” Fei took one small step forward, then lept forward with that leg. As he landed, he fired a side kick at Ryu’s abdomen. Fei-Long knew he was unconscious as he hit the ground.
“ I’ll have to teach a lesson Ryu. How can you expect to beat me with a style? I guess I should take him to the hostpital.” Fei-Long went back to where the fight began and put back on his kung-fu jacket, then lifted up Ryu, and dragged him to his car.
