Bad Dreams Ch.9

Ken gasped as Ryu's fist hit him with the force of a brick wall. The chi of his attack seared Ken's brain as pain shot throughout his body. Ken was shocked. The only other time Ryu had ever used a Dragon Punch on him was in the World Warrior tournament held by Sagat.

He had forgotten how much it hurt.

He was hurled through the air and landed on one of the still standing wooden banisters. The railing snapped like a twig under Ken's weight and he hit his head hard on one of the broken stones of the ruined stairway. Ken blacked out for a moment, until he felt the excruciating pain of his shoulder being dislocated.

Ken saw Ryu's foot crash into his shoulder joint again and he screamed in pain. Then he stopped as it dawned on him that his jaw was broken. Ryu then grabbed Ken and hefted him into the air over his shoulder.

He prepared to slam Bison into one of the shattered stone steps, until he saw something rush him. He let his instincts take over and launched his burden at the oncoming threat.

Guile and Chun Li halted their sprint at the crazed Ryu just as Ken was hurled in their direction. Then he hit them at high velocity and all three went down in a heap.

Ryu was elated. Finally his attacks could hit Bison, finally he would be able to silence the laughter and crush that grin! Ryu stalked up the remanants of the stone staircase and grabbed saw that there were three Bisons!

*No matter, I'll crush them all!*

Ryu grabbed two of them and smashed their heads together. He was rewarded with twin groans of pain as they slumped to the ground.

Then he spied the third Bison, shtruggling to get up.

Chun Li shook her head. The impact from Ken's body had sent heronto the ground, where she had hit hard. She saw Ken and Guile's heads collide with a sickening "thud" and then Ryu looked at her.
