Prophecy Ch.7 (Part 1)

Her eyes widened as she felt strong arms encircle her. She opened her mouth to scream, but a hand clamped over her mouth. A familiar voice whispered into her ear.

"Chill Li! It's just me."

She quickly twirled herself around and instantly threw her arms around the person.

"FEI!"

He gave a chuckle and hugged her tightly, then put her at arms length, still grasping her shoulders. Giving a serious look, "Are you okay? I was scared half to death when I found your room like this!"

Chun Li averted her eyes from his, trying her best to avoid contact. She hated to let people see her cry, especially at a time when she needed to be strong. *Be strong, be strong...* A hand cupped her chin and led her gaze to a Fei Long's worried face. She quickly wiped the tears away. "I...I'm fine.", she stuttered.

Fei Long gave a smile. *As strong willed as ever I see.*

Though not romantically, he and Chun Li loved each other 'very' much, much like brother and sister; maybe with even a stronger bond than that. He always felt a surge of protectiveness when it came to her.

Fei Long pulled Chun Li closer. *Some things never change. But.....I wouldn't want it any other-*

"HHHHHEEEEEYYYYYY!!!!!!"

They were interrupted by Cammy's enthusiasm. The two looked at the doorway to see a surprised face, which then turned skeptical.

Cammy out her hands on her hips. "Ya know..... I don't think that Ryu would like the thought of you two hugging so closely...."

Chun Li blushed as Fei Long raised an eyebrow. "Ryu huh?......."

Chun Li rolled her eyes. *Oh no. Here goes the 'brotherly' He's-not-right-for-you speech.*

Instead, Fei Long pondering, nodded his head. "He's a great guy."

"Did I hear you correctly?!, Chun Li was dumfounded. *Fei has 'never' thought anyone was good enough for her 'little sis'* "Did you just say-"

"FEI LONG?!!!!!"

The three turned to an astonished Guy and a smiling Ken.

Guy felt like he was goin to faint. "'''THE''' Fei Long?!!!!! AsintheincrediblemultimilliondollaractorFeiLong?...THAT ONE!!"

Fei Long gave a flashy smile. "That'd be me."

Ken, ignoring Guy, stepped over to him and shook his hand. "Nice seeing you again....Wanna finish the fight we left unfinished?"

Guy quickly moved his gaze, or rather head, from Ken to Fei Long. "YOU KNOW HIM!!!!!!!"

Fei smiled at Ken, "Maybe another time."

Giving a smug smile, Ken sighed. "Fine, later time then. Um, why 'are' you here?"

Cammy slapped her forehead. "Duh idiot! He came to check up on Chun Li." Turning to Chun Li, "I hope that you don't mind. I called him before I founf you and asked him to come over...I sorta told him everything."

Chun Li smiled, "It's okay. I'm glad you did."

Cammy walked over to Chun Li and Fei Long, talking to them quietly. While Ken spoke momentarily with Guy.

"HHHHHEEEEEEYYYYYYYY!!!" Ken gave a VERY loud shout.

Cammy gave him an irritated look. "Do you have to yell!"

He smiled. "Just trying to get your attention."

"Well you got it, and now it's leaving." And she turned her back to him.

Ken rolled his eyes. "Well we're supposed to meet Ryu and Sakura for lunch soon." He said checking his watch. "And I'm never late, so let's get going. You can come with us Fei Long." He then left the room.

"He can be such a cocky one can't he...", Cammy sarcastically said to no one in particular.

Ken's head instanly popped in through the doorway. "Are you critizing me behind my back?!"

"Oh, I'm sorry! Next time I'll wait until you're here and start critizing you," she answered in a mocking tone.

Ken narrowed his eyes. He pulled a 'still' dazed Guy with him, "Come on."

Cammy rolled her eyes and followed. "Idiot....."

Fei Long chuckled at the two and looked at chun Li. He turned concerned when he saw her head down, staring at something. *She seems so uneasy...of course who wouldn't be, but I don't think that's what's bothering her...* He placed a hand on her shoulder.

Chun Li decided to not listen to Cammy and Ken bicker at each other and looked around the room. Suddenly, something caught her eye. She walked over to the window and found a letter pinned against the side. She looked around making sure that no one was watching and grabbed it. Turning her back to everyone, she read the writing. As she read, she let many tears slide from her eyes. *I have to do this.........alone*

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder and quickly placed the letter into her jacket unnoticed.

Chun Li turned and looked up at Fei Long. Also receiving the I-know-something's-wrong-so-spill-it look.

"What's wrong Li?"

Chun Li lightly laughed. "I'm fine! Come on." She turns Fei Long around and tries to push him from behind.

Fei Long laughed. Considering that he was twice her size, he didn't think that she could budge him, but was surprised to find that he was 'actually' moving toward the doorway. "Okay, I'm going. But, who's Sakura?"

Chun Li smile. "Tell ya on the way. Come on!" *Gotta get out of here, then-"

"HEY! NOW WHO'S SLOWING EVERYONE DOWN?"

She blushed as she made her way to the doorway, with a waiting Fei Long. He put his arm around her shoulder and they both left the room.

***In the room***

Unnoticed, a shadow emerged from out of nowhere. "Bison, she read it....no one else."

A menacing laugh was heard.
