Prophecy Ch.5

The sunshine made its way through the blinds of the window, while the strong rays directed into Ryu's face. With tremendous effort, he opened his eyes. He turned a bright shade of red as he noticed the position he was in. Chun Li was using his chest as a pillow. His arms were wrapped securely around her body, as if trying to sheild her from an invisible harm. He inhaled deeply, smelling the delicate scent of her hair. *It's undescribable...much sweeter than the smell of a thousand roses could ever produce.* He slowly removed his left arm from around her waist and pulled the covers over her. His eyes grew wide as she snuggled deeper into his hold. After a few moments of not moving a muscle, he lowered his head back onto the pillow. With a sigh, he closed his eyes. *This...this feels so...right.*

Sakura was busy doing strecthes in her room. *I'm so gald that we're still going to practice.* She flopped onto the bed with a loud sigh, "I just wish that he woud pay more attention to me.", she said to the air. *Good thing I have Guy here so I won't feel left out!* , she added to herself. After putting on her shoes, she went to search for Ryu. She knocked on his door........no answer. She narrowed her eyes and knocked again with more force, "RYU! HURRY UP!"

Just then, Cammy came out of the room directly across the hall. She was still in her robe, furiously rubbing the last signs of sleep from her eyes, "What's going on?"

Sakura hesitantly looked at her and pouted, "He's 'so' lazy!"

Cammy yawned and lightly laughed, "That's Ryu for you!" She stepped up to the door, "Ryu, I'm coming in! You had better be decent!" She slowly opened the door, peeking through the crack as it got wider. Once the door was fully opened, the two looked skeptically at the empty bed.

Sakura turned to Cammy, "Maybe he went for a jog. Let's ask Ken!" She skipped to Ken's door. Cammy sighed and dragged herself.

Sakura lightly knocked on the door. "Ken?" When no answer cam, she rolled her eyes and opened the door with no introduction. The two walked in to see Ken sleeping peacefully.

Cammy raised her eyebrows and smiled, while walking over to Ken's bedside. Clearing her throat, she spoke in a sweet, soothing voice, "Munchkin, it's time to get out of bed."

Ken rolled onto his other side, "Not now mom. Just five more minutes, I promise."

Cammy smiled. Sakura tried to hide a laugh, but it broke out loudly.

Ken bolted up. "What the......" He trailed off as the looked from Sakura, who was gripping her stomach from laughter, to Cammy who just smiled at him with a look of superiority. He laid back with a loud thump. "What do you two wwwwaaannnttt!"

Sakura was about to answer, but Ken continued.

"Is it money!? I'll be happy to give it to you! Whatever you want just please let me sleep..." His voice muffled away as he brought his pillow over his face.

Cammy laughed sarcastically and pulled the pillow off him, "We were just wondering where Ryu was so that I can get 'my' sleep and Sakura can have her practice."

Ken answered by pulling the blankets over his head, "GO AWAY!"

Cammy ripped the blankets from the bed, revealing his boxers.

Her eyes peirced into his, "AND IF YOU THINK FOR ONE SECOND THAT YOU CAN SLEEP WHILE I CAN'T, YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN!!!!"

Ken grunted in furstration and got up, "ALL RIGHT ALREADY! I'm going to kill Ryu......," he muttered making his way out the door.

Sakura smiled childishly, "That's right boxer boy!" Ken stopped and narrowed his eyes. Then disappeared into the hallway.

After searching everywhere, the three went to Chun Li's room. Ken knocked on the door, "Chun li, I'm sorry to bother you, but do you know where Ryu is?" No response came.

Sakura placed her hands on her hips while leaning her back on the wall, "Why don't people answer their doors?"

Cammy whirled around, "'MAYBE' because people want their sleep!"

Sakura rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

Ken ignored the two and peered into the room. He scanned the room until they met the bed. His eyes grew wide. Cammy and Sakura stared at each other in confusion, then pushed him into the door to get a view. Their mouths dropped automatically. Cammy clamped her hand over her mouth.

Sakura wasn't that clever, "OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!" She yelled as loudly as her lungs allowed her to.

Ryu immediately sat up directly staring at three astonished faces; some more than others. Guy then launched into the room, noticeably alert. "What, what is it?" He stopped as he saw the spectacle. His mouth dropped open, "Whoa....."

Ryu blushed as he figures what has startled them so much. He looked down toward his lap ad he saw Chun Li stirring. She slowly looked up, trying to familiarize herself with her surroundings. Looking up, she saw everyone looking in her direction in shock. She turned her head and found herself staring directly into a strong chest. Shifting her head slightly upward, she met Ryu's blushing face.

Sheepishly smiling, she turned her attention back to the others,

"Morning..........."
