Prophecy Ch.3

Ryu and Ken were instantly by Chun Li's bed side. Cammy still out in the hallway obviously pondering about something. While Guy and Sakura respectively stayed in the back of the room. Chun Li's eyes began to slowly flutter open.

"Ryu, Ken come here for a second.", Cammy calmly stated.

"What?"

"Come here now!", she said a little annoyed.

They both gave her an "Are you crazy" look, but came outside.

"What is it Cammy? Can't you see that Chun Li was about to wake up?"

"Yes I CAN see that Ryu. I can *also* tell that both of you were planning to play 20 questions with her once she fully opened her eyes!"

Ryu looked down to the floor. Ken started to speak-

"Yeah, but-"

"But...NOTHING! She needs her rest and I know that she won't be able to get that if you two idiots won't let her get her rest and-"

"Hey, hey now...there's no need for the name-calling. We were just-

Their conversation was interrupted by a loud scream coming from the room. They rushed in to see Chun Li scrunched up against the backboard of the bed with Guy and Sakura far in the corner.

Ryu rushed up to Chun Li and spoke to her.

"Hey now...it's okay. It's me."

"Ry...Ryu", Chun Li managed to stutter.

"Yeah, it's me."

Chun Li jumped into Ryu's arms. She buried her face into his shoulder and cried. Murmuring she managed to express her happiness in seeing him.

Meanwhile, Ken was speaking to Sakura and Guy in the hallway with Cammy.

"What happened in there?"

"Don't ask us! She went whacko when she saw us!", Sakura defended.

"Why don't we just find out why she screamed.", Cammy said while creaking open the door.

Guy hesitated, "Are you sure. I really don't want her to attempt to make me go deaf again."

"Let me see.", Cammy dissapeared into the doorway and came out just as quickly.

"Ryu said that you can come in."

All returned into the hosipital room once again. They all saw Ryu closely holding Chun Li. Ken slowly approached.

"Hey.", he spoke softly hoping not to startle her.

Chun Li's head gradually came up from it's hiding place on the now tear stained shoulder.

"Ken...?", Chun Li asked almost doubtfully.

Ken gave his famous smile and nodded. Chun Li broke free of Ryu's hold and flew into the awaiting arms of Ken. Ryu chuckled at young spirit she still held on to. After a few moments, Chun Li scanned the room until she met another familiar face, "CAMMY!", Chun Li shreiked and was performing her now usual greeting.

"Whoa, hey...you need to take it easy. The doc said that you need rest. And docs always know best or they wouldn't be paid half of what they get.", Cammy retorted while easing Chun Li back under the sheets of her bed. All of a sudden, Chun Li froze. Cammy, Ken, and Ryu looked up to what had gotten her attention. They turned to see Guy and Sakura standing uncomfortably in the darkness.

"Chun Li...", Ken started,"this is Guy and Sakura. There friends of ours."

Chun Li stared, then broke free of the trance she seemed to be in.

"Oh. I'm so sorry if I scared you before. I thought that you may have been working for Bison. I am deeply sorry.", she said slightly bowing her head in respect.

"That's okay...the exact opposite of a girl's usual reaction to me... but, hey, under the circumstances what else could I have expected.", Guy said, stepping out of the shadows. Sakura did the same while smiling. Cammy and Ryu smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you.", Chun Li tried to say, but obviously growing tired. Ryu was the first to notice.-

"Hey, let's get you to the hotel, okay."

Chun Li only nodded in response while the rest gathered there things.

Ken and Ryu shared identical looks. Both thinking,"We are *so* going to get answers and soon!" But their expressions were quickily washed off their faces as they met Cammy's stare; clearly stating,"IF you push her, you won't live to see another day!"

After witnessing the silent argument, Sakura looked at Guy with a confusion. Guy lightly laughed,

"Don't even try."
