Prophecy Ch.1

"CHUN LI NOOOO!" With that, Ken and Ryu lept to the scene with Guy and Sakura closely following. But it was still too late. Chun Li screamed out in pain and agony as a bright glowing light enveloped her. She fell to the floor immediately, not moving a single muscle. Two of them reached down and picked the body up, then started make their way toward the back entrance. The rest turned to face four determined fighters. "Syoryuuken", Ken made the first move and sent one flying. With the corner of his eye, he saw another easily thrown to the wall by Ryu. As Guy and Sakura managed with the others, the two rapidly intercepted the ones who held their friend. They let Chun Li's body slide to the ground while proceeding into a fighting stance. The assasins made the first move by doing roundhouse, but it was easily blocked by the trained fighters. Ryu and Ken noticed that the two made moves that were exactly nsync with each other. They decided to use this as an advantage. Ken looked slightly at Ryu as he gave a nod. They both tripped their opponents. Once they were instantly back on their feet with a quick backflip, they each heard, "Tatsumakisenkyuuken" then "Shinryuuken". None had even had a chance to notice what hit had them.

"Guys! Over here!", Sakura yelled. They fled to see Guy leaning over and checking on Chun Li.

Both instantly kneeled down and tried to examine their long-lost friend. Guy turned toward them, "She's going to be okay. She took a really hard hit though." "How do you two know her?", Sakura asked. Ken turned to answer but was interrupted by tremendous whispering going on around them. Each turned to see the huge crowd that they had long forgotten. Ryu was about to ask them to call an ambulance, but was startled by the slight movement of the delicate head he was stroking.

A moan managed to escape from Chun Li's lips. Ken held her head slightly up, so that he could make eye contact with her. He and Ryu weren't startled to see tears in her beautiful eyes as she winced from the pain, but the next words that came out of her mouth paled both their concerned faces.

"It's Bison...he's alive...."
