Chun-li held her breath in anticipation. They just had to be all right. They should have known it wasn't her from the knock. She could also tell that Vega was waiting for some kind of sign also. Smoke came out of the room from all of the firing. Still…no one responded. Then there was coughing noises coming from the room.

"*Cough*…is every one all right", asked Trey. Everyone nodded their heads.

"*Cough * *cough*…what just *cough*…happened", Kevin said.

"It was an ambush", said Trey looking at the still bodies on the ground.

"I can't believe we made it to our guns just in time. How did you know it was an ambush", asked Troy.

"Because of the knock…who ever told them the knock set them up", replied Trey with a grin.

In hallway…….

Vega and Chun-li heard every word. Chun-li let out a sigh of relief. "THAT WAS TOO CLOSE," she said to herself. Vega on the other hand was not at all happy. Chun-li had set up his men. Chun-li didn't even notice Vega letting go of her arm. When she did notice she thought it was a perfect opening for her escape. "I wouldn't do that if I were you", he said as if he read her mind. He revealed his hand and she saw he had his infamous claw attached to it. "While I was distracted he must have slipped it on", Chun-li thought to herself. He took his clawed hand and put it to her neck…his other hand in circled her waist. Slowly he began to lead her out of the safety of the alcove. He stepped out into the middle of the hallway so the trainees could see him. The seven were just coming out of the room.

"We'd better find Chun-li and tell her what happened", said Trey. "Yeah…and we need to"; Kevin stopped in his sentence and dead in his tracks. The other six saw him stop and looked right ahead of them. Kevin, Trey and Troy narrowed their eyes as the other 4 gasped. "Drop your weapons", Vega spoke up once seeing he had their attention. The seven looked at each other. Chun-li gave out a barely audio whimper…but they heard it…which caused them to look her way. Vega added more pressure to his claw on her throat. They looked at each other again…they knew Chun-li wouldn't have made a sound if it didn't hurt. Plus Chun-li had a high tolerance for pain. "Okay…stop…we'll drop them", said Trey. They all dropped their guns and kicked them away. "Who are you". "My name should not be spoken from such unworthy creatures…how ever…my name is Vega", Vega replied. "What do you want", said Kevin eyeing Chun-li. "What I want is to return my bosses property."

"We don't have it", spoke up Troy. "Yeah it's…not here", said Rick trying to back him up. Vega only sighed. "Why must everyone lie to me today", said Vega adding a little more pressure to his claw which caused Chun-li to whimper again. "Okay…okay…we'll give it to you…just…let Chun-li go", said Trey. "My patients is wearing thin boy," said Vega looking down at Chun-li drawing a little blood from her neck. Vega didn't make it deep…he just pierced it to make it bleed…to make it seem like he wasn't playing around with the seven.

Trey nodded to Rick and Troy to go get the bags. They nodded back and disappeared into the still smoky room. They returned just as re-enforcements came from Vegas team. "Get the bags from them" he said to two of his men. They nodded and took the bags from Rick and Troy. They turned back around and then headed for a near by stairwell.

"Okay…you've got what you wanted…know let Chun-li go", said Trey in a stern voice.

"I never made a deal with you", said Vega stepping backwards still holding Chun-li.

"But…I thought if we gave you what you wanted…you would let her go", said Trey stepping forward a step.

"Hahahaha…you are even stupider then you look", Vega replied. Trey looked at Chun-li. She had been quiet the entire time. She looked back at him and smiled. Just then…she stepped on Vegas foot as hard as she could. Vega grunted with pain. She elbowed him in the gut causing him to drop to the floor. Then the trainees dove for their guns and opened fire once Chun-li was away. Vega crawled to the stairwell to avoid getting shot. The re-enforcement's dropped like flies. Once the firing was done…Chun-li approached the group.

"Are guy's okay"? she asked looking them over.

"Yeah…were fine…what about you"? asked Trey looking at 3 puncher holes in her neck. "It's okay…Vega just pierce the skin.", she replied.

"Speaking of Vega…we have to go get him. And those two guy's with the gold", said Trey walking towards the stairwell. "NO…just let him go," said Chun-li grabbing his arm. "We need to figure out where everybody else is". With that she led them to the elevator…………………..
