Untitled Ch.7 (Part 2) Busted
By Kat
Terry listened to every word that Jason said. She frowned a bit.
Who was he talking to, and why was he so concerned about Chun-li, and what did
he mean when he said everything was ready? She raised her eyebrow. Everything
Terry heard could be valuable if she told someone…only if she wasn't drunk. She
took another shot of her bottle of gin. She continued walking around funny down
the hallway. Jason emerged from the room and looked around. No one was there,
but he could have sworn he heard someone. He pushed it aside and looked for a
place to hide and keep out the way.
Chun-li got to the gym and looked around. It was huge. And as she expected
no one was there. She sighed and made her way to a punching bag. She looked at
it as she strapped on her boxing gloves. She eyed the red, thick bag warningly.
She used to act like it was Bison while working out. But IP threatened to make
her pay for every punching bag she ruined. She closed her eyes and sighed
pushing the thoughts aside. She was down here because she wanted to be here,
not because she had to so she would be fit to face Bison. She started taking
her punches slowly. But then the speed increased as she let her mind wonder.
What was she going to do with her life now that she wasn't after Bison any
longer? She always wanted to open her own dojo. There were some many things she
wanted to do while she was working for IP, but now that she finally had the
time to do it...she didn't want to. Before she knew it, 1 hour had pass. She
was hitting the punching bag mercifully. She probably would have continued if
the chain had not popped. The bag flew 5 feet and landed with a thud after she
hit it with a right hook. She removed her gloves and wiped her sweat with the
back of her hand. She was wiped out so she started to make her way towards the
exit. Then the lights went out. It remained out for about 10 seconds until the
lights flickered than came back on for good. She raised an eyebrow and frowned.
"What the h***"?
Chun-li got to the elevator and pressed the up button. She looked around her
and frowned again. "Where is everybody"? The elevator doors opening
interrupted her thoughts. She stepped into it and pressed Kevin's floor number.
The doors closed.
Upstairs………………
The seven were sitting around the coffee table looking at the backpacks.
"She's really pissed at us, isn't she", Kevin spoke up first.
"Yeah…I guess it was a pretty stupid thing for us to do", said Trey.
"But do you really think we are in that much of danger", asked Troy.
"We probably are…what the" Kevin said as the lights went out. "What
going on", asked Kevin. Then the lights came back on. "It was
probably just a little black-out…that's all," said Troy.
………………………..
Chun-li stepped out the elevator and walked towards the end of the hallway.
It was strangely quiet…to quiet. She continued down the hallway until she got
10 feet away from the door. She passed an alcove. Then without warning a hand
grabbed her from no where. She was pulled into the alcove quickly. A man put a
hand over her mouth, and the other grabbed her right arm…twisting it painfully
behind her. Chun-li placed her free left hand over the man's hand that was
covering her mouth. She opened her eyes to see about 10 men dressed in black
head to toe surrounding her. "Why…if it isn't Chun-li", said the man
holding her. He let the word Chun-li roll off of his tongue slowly. Chun-li had
no idea who was holding her until he spoke. Realization sunk in. She knew it
was now…but she had to make sure she wasn't hearing things. She twisted her
head slightly to look at the face. After seeing it she began to struggle against
him more.
"It's good to see you to", Vega said. "I'm going to ask you
yes or no questions, Are the in there" he gestured to Kevin's room.
Chun-li only kept still, refusing to cooperate. The man closest to Vega put his
gun to Chun-li's temple, releasing the safety button. Chun-li only close her
eyes and groaned. "Now…are they in there", Vega asked again. Chun-li
nodded her head yes. "Do they have the treasure with them", Vega
asked. Chun-li once again nodded yes. "What's the code", Vega asked
her. Chun-li's eyes shot open (How could he know about that) Chun-li thought to
herself. If she gave them the code, the trainees would be ambushed. She shook
her head no as if to said she didn't know.
The man holding the gun to her head applied more pressure. Which cause her
to groan again. "I really hate it when people lie to me Chun-li" Vega
said. Chun-li thought fast. She knew exactly what to do. Taking her hand off of
his she knocked on the wall. One, two, then two. (The original One, Two then
One). Vega nodded the men who scattered out the alcove towards Kevin's door.
"Now that wasn't so bad now was it", Vega whispered into her ear
pulling her a little closer to him. Chun-li closed her eyes again; she HATED
when he did things like that. Vega turned his attention on the men however. The
man that held the gun to her head went up to the door. He knocked on the door
in the pattern Chun-li told him to. After that he barge the door open rushing
in with the other men in hot prosuit. The room was dark as Chun-li could tell.
She heard nothing for 5 seconds, which seemed like eternity to her. Then…she
heard gunshot after gunshot. The only thing in her mind at the time was
"God please let them be okay"……………………..
