Untitled Ch.7 (Part 1) Busted
By Kat

Chun-li opened her door and stepped in the hallway. She stretched and turned around to lock her door. She then headed down the hallway towards the elevator where she bumped into Jason. "Hello Chun-li" he said with a smile. Chun-li didn't know what it was but she had a weird feeling about him. She shook the feeling off and favored him with a smile. "Hello Jason". She pressed the elevator button to go down. "Where are you going", he asked looking at her attire. She was wearing a pair of gray sweat pants, a white tank top (with looked like to him a black sports bra underneath; the pervert!), and a pair of white hi top Reeboks.

"Yeah…I'm going to the gym for a while"

"Really…mind if I go with you"?

"Um…well I was really going to check on the guy's first…" she trailed off.

"I don't mind" he replied as the elevator doors opened and he stepped inside. *Couldn't he take a hint* Chun-li thought to herself. With that she stepped in as well.

In Kevin's room……………..

They all emptied their backpacks on the coffee table. The gold, diamonds, and artifacts fell into a pile on the table. They looked at each other and smiled. "We are RICH," yelled Troy. "Pipe down" said Kevin. "What are we going to do with these stuff", asked Rick. "That is the stupidest question I ever heard", replied Troy. "I don't mean it like that…I mean…we can't just go around spending it or something…that would be a little obvious wouldn't it" he asked. "Rick's right, we can't go buying stuff that we normally wouldn't or couldn't", said Trey. "So what are we gonna do with it then", asked Troy.

In the hall way………………

Chun-li and Jason walked up to Kevin's door. Jason grabbed for the doorknob when Chun-li stopped him. He only frowned in confusion.

"Wait". She knocked on the door 1,2 then one more time. "Was that a code or something"? he asked

"Exactly…I though you knew that"

"Oh s***" Kevin said from the other side. Jason and Chun-li exchange frowns and walked in. The seven trainees were where standing around the coffee table with shocked expressions on there faces. Chun-li looked around and found a blanket on the coffee table with a lump under it. "What's going on here"? Chun-li asked. "Oh…nothing…why would something be going on here…can't we just hang out or something…OW" Kevin stepped on Troy's foot to shut him up. Chun-li eyed the two carefully then turned her attention on the lump on the table. "What's that", she asked pointing to the table. "That…that's nothing", said Trey in a hurry. "It looks like something to me", said Jason stepping towards the table. "No don't", pleaded Kevin but it was too late. Jason pulled the blanket off and reviled it's secret. Chun-li eyes widened and her mouth hung open. Jason's expression was unreadable. '' Who…how did…what's is this". The trainees just looked down at being discovered. "Where did you guy's get this", she demanded. "Well…you see" Troy began, but Chun-li cut him off. "And don't tell me you got lucky in a treasure hunt…hey" she said picking up a gold medallion. "This…This is Prince Lamar's Family Treasure…this pile is worth over 6 million at least", she said looking it over. "Wow…we didn't know it was worth THAT much," said Troy.

"How did…WHERE did you get this…this was reported stolen a few weeks ago…we were led to believe that Bison", she stopped. "You took this while you were there didn't you", she need no answer, the answer on their faces said it all. "What the hell is the matter with you guy's. What were you thinking? Did you think I wasn't going to find out"

"Actually", Trey started

"Oh my goodness…and what about Bison.

"What about him", asked Troy

"If someone stole 600,000 dollars from you and you knew who took it, wouldn't you try to get it back", asked Chun-li.

"Hell yeah", replied Troy

"If you would do that with 600,000…don't you think he would for 6 million"?

"Oh…we never thought about that", said Kevin

"OF COURSE YOU WEREN'T"

"We need to talk with the proper authorities about this", started Jason

"No…no not yet…that wouldn't help right now" Chun-li

"Can't we just give it back to him", asked Rick.

"Then what…you think everything will be alright…if Bison finds out who did it…there dead…just like that. Just…let me think about this. This is not good," she said walking out the door. Jason looked at the group, at the pile, then back at the group. He shook his head no while making an tsk sound, then he followed Chun-li. "You know…I never really liked him", said Kevin.

--------------------

Chun-li and Jason got off the elevator on the first floor and walked down the hall. "I can't believe the stunt they pulled…I mean what were they thinking" Chun-li said while shaking her head. She looked up at Jason who was looking forward deep in thought. "Is anybody in there" she asked waving her right hand in his face. He turned his head and looked at her. He blinked once, then once again. "Oh…my apologies", he replied. Chun-li only mumbled "what-ever". They continued walking till they came to a split in the hallway. The gym was to the right, and the multi-purpose room and cafeteria was to the left. Jason went left. Chun-li stopped as he continued walking in the wrong direction. "Hey…I thought you were going to the gym with me" Chun-li asked confused.

*Shut up you fool. Let him go. You didn't want him to come with you in the first place* her mind screamed at her.

"Uh…I'll catch up with you later…I forgot I uh…was supposed to be meeting Guile for a drink at the bar" he yelled back to her without turning around. "Oh…okay…"Chun-li trailed off as she kept going down the right wing. Something didn't feel right. And she hated when she got them feelings…because she always ended up being right.

-------------------

Jason walked down the hall till he got to a small filing room. It was the size of a bathroom but it would do. He pushed the door a little and pulled out a cell phone. He couldn't believe how thing were falling into place. He dialed the number and after one ring someone answered.

"Is everything ready" asked the man on the other end.

"Yes sir…they are all in the same room…as well as your 'loot'" replied Jason in a whispering voice.

"Good…and I advise you to stay clear Jason"

"Yes sir…I also need to tell you that Chun-li is here"

"Hmmmmm…Chun-li…I haven't heard from her in months"

"Probably because she no longer works for Interpole"

"So that's why she has not been a pain in my side for some time now…I wouldn't worry about her though." With that he hung up. Jason only sighed and hung up as well.

What he didn't know was a pair of ears listening in on his conversation…………………..
