Untitled Ch.1-Dreams

Chun-li woke up with a start. She was gasping for breath. Her room was dark so she leaned to the side to reach for the lamp. After knocking various items off the dresser, she finally switched on the light. Looking around she saw she was in her room. She closed her eyes briefly to recall her dream. She remembered it very clearly. She moved her legs against her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She had never witnessed her fathers' murder. Yet it's like she had. Her mind had to be playing tricks on her. She tried to calm down, but her heart kept pounding.

She looked over at her clock and saw it was 8:46am. With a sigh she stumbled out of bed. She walked over to the window and drew back the shade. The morning sun hit her full force. She looked out over the training grounds below. She turned and walked over to the mirror to look her-self over. Her shirt was soaked with sweat, her face had lines on them from the pillow, her face was flushed, and her two neatly place buns had come a loose. With a grunt she headed for the bathroom.

She reached in and turned on the shower. Testing it, she found the spray nice and warm. She reached down to pull over her shirt until she heard a knock on the door. She stumbled out the bathroom. The person knocked on the door again.

"Who is it", she called out.

"It's Kevin…you know your favorite student…you future husband.", said the 19 year old behind the door.

"Kevin go away", she said rolling her eyes.

"Come on. It's time to get up. You know you have to teach today."

"I'm up….just…….JUST GO AWAY"

"Hmmmmm…. I don't believe you…I'm comin in."

"DON'T", Chun-li yelled. She'd be damned if she let ANYONE see her like this.

But it was too late. She heard I click and the door swung open. The blond haired green-eyed teen stepped through the door. He stopped when he looked at her. Then with a false scared look on his face, he crossed his index fingers in the shape on a cross.

"And I thought vampire's couldn't live during the day. With that he smirked.

"Ha-ha-ha…very funny. I wish you would stop picking locks. ESPECIALLY mine."

"I can't help it. Each locked door is like a new challenge for me. Ya know. And I was just kidding about that vampire thing. You may not be a site in the morning, but woo…when you get fixed up you look fine as s".

"Don't….just stop okay."

"Fine. But anyway you need to get ready."

"I was getting ready until a certain 19 year old picked the lock to my door and barged in."

"Oh…sorry. I'll leave you to get ready then. With that he headed towards the door. Chun-li was right behind him to shut the door. Once he was out he turned around.

"Seriously…will you marry me."

Chun-li looked up at him with a frown. "No", she said.

"But why"?

"Kevin….how many times have you asked me that."

"Hmmm…about a million"

"And what have I told you"

"No"

"Okay…so why do you keep asking me. There are other girls out there who would love to be with you."

"But I don't want a girl, I want a woman….I want you" Chun-li raised an eyebrow.

"But why won't you marry me. Is it the age difference? I told you"

"Get out", Chun-li yelled. With that she slammed the door in his face.

"Bye", he called out from the other side and walked off. Chun-li rolled her eyes and walked off towards the bathroom.
