Old Friends

The crowd was anxiously betting on another street fight. Blanka, the Beast from Brazil was fighting against Dan Hibiki.*Dan Hibiki, that name sounds familiar* Blanka thought.

Dan attacked with Dankuu-kyaku. As he flew through the air Blanka caught him with Electric Thunder. "That didn't hurt" Dan said. Dan kicked Blanka a few times. He started to taunt as a result. Blanka simply stared at him while trying not to laugh. Dan continued to taunt. Blanka finally got tired of this stupidity. He hit Dan with his Rolling Attack and bit him in the shoulder. The fight was soon over. This was an easy victory for Blanka. Blanka started to walk away.

"Jimmy!" Dan called. "The name's Blanka" Blanka responded. Dan stood up. He threw something at Blanka. It was a photograph of Jimmy(Blanka) and Dan as children. Blanka stared at it for a few seconds. A flood of memories from his childhood suddenly came to him. Dan was his buddy. "Do you remember anything?" Dan asked. Blanka hugged Dan rather hard and licked the shoulder wound. "I'll take that as a yes. Jimmy, you could stop now."Dan said. Blanka released him. "I think you broke one of my ribs" Dan commented. Blanka gave him a quick electric jolt to see his skeleton. "Your ribs are fine." Blanka said. "Thanks" Dan weakly replied.

"Jimmy, you've changed so much." Dan said.

"That's obvious. What's surprising is that you haven't changed at all." Blanka responded.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You haven't matured at all. You're still a wuss and I could still kick your @$$."

"You were never able to beat me."

"Yes I was. When we play fought. You always lost."

"Did not!"

"Did so"

"Did not!"

"Did so!"

"Not!"

"Did so!"

"Nuh uh!"

"This is stupid but it proves my point. You're really immature."

"Oh yeah? I didn't say you changed for the better." Dan became serious. "We should stop arguing now. When I heard about the plane crash..." Dan broke off. For once he seemed to be at a loss for words. "What is it?" Blanka asked. "They told me you were dead," Dan said with hesitation.

"Well now you know everyone was wrong. Let's just watch the next fight."

They made their way into the crowd. Chun Li and Cammy were getting ready to fight. "Cat fight!" Dan and Blanka both said. "I love to watch chicks fight. Yahooey!" Dan coomented while Blanka's tongue was hanging out of his mouth.

Chun Li and Cammy heard Dan's rude remark and got really angry. They went towards Dan and Blanka. Chun Li kicked Blanka a few hundred times while Cammy beat up Dan. After punishing them the women got ready for their fight.

"Animals!" Cammy said.

"Perverts!" Chun Li said.

Blanka and Dan got up. "I'll kick your @$$, Chun Li! You're lucky I didn't fight back!" Blanka growled along with various other threats.

Unlike Blanka, Dan didn't want revenge. He shouted after the women.

"Call me!"
