Shadows of Revenge Ch. 6

”Where’s my Mom Jason?” Ibuki asked in a low and venomous tone. Jason smiled and laughed to himself in his cold voice.

”You want to know where Kumiko is? Well…lets just say she’s been relocated to somewhere safe where I can look after her.” He said and a sadistic smile crept to his lips.

Ibuki’s teeth clenched and her eyes narrowed in anger. Her body tensed and then she dashed forward “Die you Metallic piece of S***!!!!” Ibuki shouted angrily and leapt forward. She swung her Katana downwards towards Jason’s head.

But Jason sidestepped and Ibuki’s sword crashed into the floor with an audible clang. As she landed Ibuki spun around while extending the blade. The Katana was aimed at Jason’s neck. Jason stepped backwards and the sword missed him by inches.

Jason then stepped forward and sent his foot flying towards Ibuki’s abdomen, the Shinobi swatted his kick aside with her foot, then when her foot touched the ground again she nailed Jason’s abdomen with a powerful sidekick. Jason groaned audibly and was pushed backwards.

Jason stumbled and almost fell over, But he managed to regain his balance. But as he did Ibuki lunged forward and swung her Katana towards his upper torso. Jason was too close to her and unable to defend himself. Ibuki’s blade sliced his skin open yet was stopped by a barrier of some sort under his skin, a clang could be heard and Ibuki cursed under her breath.

Jason’s body was now exposed as his skin was cut through, Jason swung his right hand in a wide arc, it collided into Ibuki’s chest and sent her flying backwards, Jason put a hand to his chest and looked downwards and chuckled.

Ibuki landed 5 feet backward on her back, she rose to a sitting position and held her abdomen, She coughed and then lifted herself to her knees, she raised her eyes to glance upon Jason and grimaced as she did.

He passed his finger upon the wound, his long finger traced against a slash, beneath it now exposed was a line of shining metal, in the middle of the slash a yellow symbol was mildly exposed. ”Why don’t you just give up and die? My master made me too well for you to defeat” Jason said coldly.

Ibuki inhaled deeply and then clenched her teeth, she strained against her aching body and rose to her feet ”The day I give up to you is the day h*ll freezes…” Ibuki thought and prepared to attack once more.

Jason motioned with his hand for Ibuki to approach. Ibuki then looked to her left and saw a Kunai lying on the ground, its blade emitted a small blue glow as the light reflected upon it. Then she remembered an incident with a knife and a wooden dummy, which happened at the end of the previous summer.

Ibuki grinned from ear to ear and rolled to her left, she picked it up and looked at Jason. She was holding the Katana in one hand and the Kunai in the other. To her surprise Jason was now holding a 9 mm pistol and it was aimed at her. Their eyes locked and the hate between was so powerful it seemed to charge the air with its intensity. Jason’s Both stood completely still and silently. The only sound in the room was Ibuki’s heavy breathing. Jason’s foot moved an inch to the left.

Ibuki’s body tensed and she flipped to the left while Jason to the right, He pressed on the gun’s trigger. A bullet was released from the barrel, It flew towards Ibuki with great speed. As Ibuki landed from her flip she moved her head to the right, the bullet collided with the wall.

Ibuki saw Jason aimed the gun at her again and gulped, she looked to her sides for some kind of cover, She then broke into a sprint to her right, she leapt and bullet fire could be heard being fired. She landed behind a large sofa, the bullets collided with the soft material and Ibuki was saved from a lead transplant.

Jason waited for her move and took out the clip and looked at its contents, her cursed as he had emptied his clip completely. Then he looked at the sofa, a blue glow could be seen behind it. Then Ibuki leapt forward from behind the couch.

Jason cursed as Ibuki’s entire arm was surrounded by bright blue wisps of Chi. She sent the Kunai flying forward, the chi from her arm transferred into the blade and it flew towards him. The blade crashed into his lower abdomen and sank deep into it.

Jason was sent flying backwards from the force of the blow, he grabbed the Kunai with his right hand, a sizzling sound was heard as the hot hilt burned through his skin. He pulled it out without even a wince and threw it aside.

Jason’s abdomen bled a strange black-red liquid, and a large wound was located where the blade had entered through his body, Sparks of electricity could be seen. Now Jason’s gaze upon Ibuki was one of pure malice and murderous hate.

Jason right eye then glowed in red light “Target showing signs of resistance, input protocol 9” His voice said. Then he dashed forward towards Ibuki. As He reached a distance of 2 feet Ibuki swung her Katana towards his neck.

Jason raised his right forearm and parried the blow, an audible clang was heard as the blade collided upon his limb. Jason then swung his arm in a chop motion, Ibuki parried his attack with her Katana but was forced to the ground. Ibuki wasn’t done yet, she gathered her Chi and leapt upwards.

Jason tried to avoid the upcoming blow but failed to. Ibuki’s Kazekiri kick collided with his face. A flash of Chi erupted upon contact and Jason was thrown backwards and he landed on his back. Then Ibuki loomed over him, her Katana gleamed in the room’s light.

”Tell me where my mom is you metallic freak!” Ibuki said in a demanding tone. Her face was a mask of anger. Yet her face was pale and her eyes red from tiredness. Jason smiled as Ibuki loomed over him.

”You’ll never see you’re wench mother again Ibuki…You can be sure of that…” Jason said calmly. Ibuki’s hand trembled and her jaw tensed. She raised her blade to finish him off. Jason’s glowing right eye then glowed in a soft white glow before A bright flash erupted from it. The flash was so bright that Ibuki was blinded Ibuki and she cried in pain and dropped her Katana. She held her eyes with her hands and stepped backwards before falling to her knees.

Meanwhile Jason rose to his feet, he loomed over Ibuki who was helplessly rubbing her eyes trying to refocus her vision and stop the burning pain in her eyes. Jason then grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up effortlessly, “Are you enjoying yourself Ibuki? Are you ready to meet Daddy now?” Jason asked in his cold voice, Mockery and ridicule apparent In his tone.

Tears flowed down Ibuki’s eyes, her irises were dilated and her eyes itched and burned. She closed her eyes and clenched her teeth. “I hope you’re ready…to go to the junk yard down under, cause before this night is over…I will rip you apart…” Ibuki spat and then pressed on the pressure points in his left hand.

To her surprise she felt flesh beneath her fingers. ”What the heck? Is this thing Human or Machine?” Ibuki thought. Then she kicked his chest with both feet, Her feet crashed into a tough and cold metallic substance. But Jason was still forced two feet backward. He wasn’t toppled over. He remained standing his gaze upon the now airborne youth.

Meanwhile Ibuki flipped in midair, She landed on both feet. Then she turned to Jason and gasped in surprise, His right Fist flew towards her ribcage, Ibuki swung her right hand downwards, She swatted his Hand from its course but injured her wrist in the process as it crashed against his powerful metallic arm.

Then Jason threw a left fisted Punch at Ibuki. She caught his hand in her right hand, then in a quick And fluid motion put her left hand on his elbow and twisted his arm. Jason was forced downwards. Ibuki tried to continue her attack but Jason rose to his feet despite his position.

He swung his arm and threw Ibuki off him, She was sent flying. She crashed into a wall forcefully and the air was forced out of her lungs. Ibuki coughed and winced, She blinked and could barely balance herself. Her back flashed with burning pain and a crimson stain was now splattered on the wall.

Ibuki looked upwaonly to see Jason dashing forward. Ibuki mustered her strength and rolled to her left, Jason’s right fist missed her head by inches, It crashed into the wall. Jason’s hand passed through the wooden wall easily.

Ibuki tried to rise to her feet but her strength betrayed her and Ibuki stumbled back to the ground. Jason loomed over her “You have no idea how long my master has waited to see you destroyed and how glad I will be to see you’re head busted open upon my fist!” Jason said coldly. Ibuki looked at him in a confused look.

“You’re a machine…You can’t think of feel for yourself…” Ibuki said weakly.

Jason laughed “Stupid little B*tch I’m not a machine I am the perfect Hybrid between man and Machine, I am the most advanced Cyborg in existence! And now its time to for you to finally die” Jason said.

Ibuki looked behind her and found out she had nowhere to escape as she was blocked by the wall. ”Oh s***…Gotta think fast… I can’t possibly beat him now…I’m too weak…I gotta disable him somehow…Wait…I know…I gotta Time this right or I’m history…” Ibuki thought as looked at the wall’s position and the plug a few feet to her right.

Jason raised his fist and his eyes glowed in red as he transmitted the feedback to Xavier. Ibuki saw Yellow writing cross upon his eyes ”Destruction protocol…Erase the captive’s daughter?!” Ibuki thought.

Jason’s fist flew forward, Ibuki moved her head to the left and again Jason’s hand crashed into the wall. But this time Ibuki smiled as he did. “I hope you need a recharge metal mouth, cause you just hit the main power line!” Ibuki shouted kicked him backwards.

Jason’s eyes crackled and flashed between blue and red, yellow writing flashed across His eyes “Warning, Overload, Flux energy critical! Moving to manual transmission!” The writing Flashed as Jason fell backwards, he landed on his back and lay motionless, his eyes empty black hollows.

Meanwhile Many miles away in Xavier’s base **

Xavier was looking at his console and cursed as various error messages appeared on the screen “Warning Control chip fail, Navigation drive fail, Generator flux failure, Automatic drive disabled.“ the messages read.

Xavier banged his fist on the handle of his chair “d*mn that Girl! How?! How did she beat him?! Its inconceivable!!!” Xavier shouted and his fist burst into blue flames. He then inhaled through clenched teeth and the flames vanished. Then he started typing on his console and inputted his emergency backup drive for the cyborg incase it was disabled somehow.

Suddenly a knock was heard at his door, A man entered the room and bowed “Master! Intelligence update on the Venomblade project.” A man said. His voice was cold and by the glow in his left eye it was known that he was a Cyborg.

Xavier hovered towards him and took some papers that the Cyborg handed him. Then the Cyborg left and Xavier returned to his console. He put the papers to his left and then pressed the enter button on his keyboard to initiate the manual control over his Cyborg Jason.

Then he looked at the papers to his left and a devious and more cruel way of avenging Ibuki’s interference came to his mind. He grinned and prepared to initiate his new found plan.

** Back at Ibuki’s house in Japan

Ibuki smiled “I did it!” She muttered to herself and allowed herself to ease her guard. She looked around and shook her head. ”This is going to take forever to fix and clean…” Ibuki thought.

Suddenly Jason’s eyes glowed in red once more and he rose to his feet. Ibuki’s attention was averted to him as his body emitted strange noises. Jason rose to his feet and looked at Ibuki, now his right eye glowed in blue and the fluid from his wound stained his entire lower body.

He laughed but his voice was different, Ibuki was perplexed ”What the h*ll?” She wondered. Jason looked at her and crossed his arms “I must admit Ibuki…You’ve impress me immensely…I didn’t think you’d be able to beat my Cyborg with such ease in your injured state…Oh well onwards to plan B” The new voice echoed through Jason’s mouth.

“And Who the f*** are you supposed to be? And what do you mean plan B?” Ibuki questioned her voice full of venom. She was tired and dizzy and fighting against the urge to faint and let her body recover from the beating it had just received.

“My Identity is of no concern to you Ibuki, But for the record you can call me X. You should care about your dearest mother more than my identity or plans…” The voice spoke and a chuckling could be heard. Ibuki leaned against the wall “Let go of her…Or I’ll…” Ibuki said tiredly.

But the voice cut into her words “Or you’ll what Ibuki? Your weakling mother is imprisoned in my base, you aren’t going to do Anything. Furthermore you better clear your schedule since you’ve been drafted girl…Welcome to Shadowlaw” Xavier’s voice said and a evil grin reached Jason’s lips. Ibuki clenched her teeth ”Curse you…Whoever you are. How do I get into these messes” Ibuki thought. She swallowed down her pride and will to fight, she knew that for her mom’s sake she couldn’t argue. ”I’ll get you for this whoever you are? Someday…Somehow…You’ll pay…” Ibuki thought and then bowed her head in defeat.

”Good, I knew you’d be obedient, You shall meet up with Jason In Tokyo Central square Tomorrow, At Noon sharp, He’ll give you your first assignment. Oh and Ibuki…Don’t even think about turning to your clan about this…I’ll know… And you’re mother will be the one to pay” Xavier’s voice spoke.

Then he looked around “Oh and I’d do something about this mess, I don’t think your mom would appreciate the mess you’ve made…” Xavier said in amusement one last time before Jason’s body walked out of the house and vanished into the night.
