Revelations Epilogue

Ryu was sitting in a chair in the x-men warroom. Beside him sat Chunli,Mel and Mariko. Professer X had asked them all to stay after the fight.Ryu wasn't that anxious to comply.

Chunli insisted they do, so Ryu agreed. Professer X crossed his hands. "Ryu I've made a terrible mistake on judging you. Can you forgive me and my X-men for our mistakes?"

Ryu was silent and then he nodded. "I can understand your mistake since I myself have been fooled in the past. Next time I hope you further investigate before you attack someone"

Professer X nodded. "By the way Ryu. How did you beat Apocalypse?" Ryu looked at Chunli and she shook her head "I'm afraid I can't tell you. The knowledge will only endanger you."

The professer nodded "As you wish" Ryu got up "And know If you will excuse us we must get going. Goodbye to you all" Ryu got up and left Chunli,Mel and Mariko behind him.

Ryu and the others left the mansion. "What now Ryu?" Mel asked Ryu thought for a moment "We are in the US we might as well pay Ken a visit."

Mel grinned.

TWO DAYS LATER

After a flight to San-Francisco and a night of sleep the four were now sitting in Ken's backyard. "So Ryu,Chunli whens the wedding?" Ken asked and raised his brows.

Ryu scrached his head. "We haven't decided yet. But We'll tell you as soon as we will" Eliza asked Mel "Did anything interesting happen while yo were in Japan?"

Eliza never knew of Shadowbane or Apocalypse neither Ken or Ryu wanted her to know what monsters they faced. Ryu briefed Mel and Mariko not to tell Eliza a thing. "Not really just a little training" Mel lied.

The six talked for a few hours. and then had dinner.

For the next five months Ryu and Chunli planned the wedding. They decided o have a normal wedding with only their closet friends and their families. During the five months Ryu continued to train Mariko and Mel. Slowly and steadily Ryu and Mariko learned to trust eachother and act as father and daughter should. After the wedding Ryu and Chunli went on a honeymoon to Hawaii.

During all this time Shadowbane didn't leave his cave. He was planning something big. "I haven't had good entertainment for 35000 years. I guess I'll have to create some fun." Shadowbane thought to himself. Shadowbane would read books and travel threw portals every day. Whatever he was planning was big.

SUMMERTIME VACATION RESORT IN THE BAHAMAS

Ryu,Chunli,Mel,Mariko,Ken,Guy,Cammy,Dan and Guile were all sitting on the beach just relaxing. Ken had ented the beach for the day. Eliza Was back at the hotel she didn't feel like going to the beach and decided to stay and wait for them.

It was sunny and a slight breeze blew. Ryu and Chunli were sitting on the sand. Mel and Mariko were playing in the water. They had gotten close after the fight with Apocalypse all those months back.

Then the sky suddenly darkened. The wind grew violent. Lightning blazed and thunder boomed. "What the h*ll?" Ken asked and looked at the sky.

A blue portal opened high above them. And out of it came the flying figure of Shadowbane. "Is this a private party or can anybody join?" Shadowbane asked as he landed on the ground.

Everyone jumped up and entered their stance. Shadowbane shook his head "I thought after the last time you'd know better than to attack me."

Ryu spoke "I thought you found happiness with your family and left us alone" Shadowbane shrugged "Indeed I died but the women you saw wasn't my wife. It was a succubus sent by the demons of Nosgoth's h*ll. They thought that by enslaving my soul they could gain enough power to release themselves."

Shadowbane was in his true form and he folded his wings. "But I beat them and sat and waited for a chance to come back."

Chunli asked "So what are you going to do now? Continue to try and eradicate the human race"

Shadowbane laughed "No young one, I tire of this conflict. But I am getting bored. So since you are the best fighters I have encountered yet. You shall be honered to participate in a little quest I have arranged.

Ken asked "Fat chance, We'll fight you to the death before we go with you" Shadowbane's eyes glew in bright green "Do not test my patience Mr.Masters. I offered nicely. If you decline I'll have to force yo to come.

Ryu Shook his head "Its better to battle against a foe and lose than submit you know that Shadowbane. If you want us you'll have to fight all of us."

Shadowbane shook his head "As you wish mortals" He raised his hand and a red flash blinded everyone. When it vanished Shadowbane was in human form. "Its only fair I give you a tiny chance of victory"

They circuled him and he entered his own stance. "Ready mortals?" Shadowbane asked and took off his cape. He made it disappear and flexed his arms.

Ryu shot a Hadouken at Shadowbane. Shadowbane raised an open palm. The hadouken hit the palm and disappeared. "I'll take that as a yes"
