APOCALYPSE'S CAVE IN MEXICO

Apocalypse was heading towards the lab. He entered the lab. "Sinister! your worthless knights have failed me". Sinister was sitting near a computer console. "Too bad for you. Oh I believe Its time I take my leave" and with that he pressed a button and his chair disappeared.

Apocalypse screamed in rage "Sinister I'll get you for this". Then the alarms went on "Warning two unidentified intruders in sector gamma"

Apocalypse was inraged. "Whoever was stupid enough to infiltrate my base will soon be sorry he was ever born"

Apocalypse walked out of the lab and started walking towards sector gamma

MEANWHILE OUTSIDE

Chunli,Mel and Mariko went to help awaken the X-men. The X-men were injured badly. Mariko told Mel "Go back to the Blackbird and call in help" Mel nodded but Chunli stopped him. "Wait I'll go you two stay here where its safe".

Chunli ran towards the ship and reached it. She entered the cockpit. "This is Chunli calling X-men base. Do you read?"

Professer X told her he could hear her. "Professer Xavier your X-men have been critically injured send medical backup immeadiatly.". The professer answered "I read you The help will be there in an hour"

Chunli forwned "I guess we have no choice" Then Chunli went back outside and when she did she saw Ryu and Death fighting. "Mel Mariko help me carry them into the blackbird" The two youths nodded.

Meanwhile Ryu and death were both in stance. Death lunged forward. Ryu sidestepped and kicked. Death knowing this move as well blocked the kick.

Then Death punched Ryu. Ryu swatted the punch and rolled aside. He rolled right under Death's kick. Ryu then attacked he tried to roundhouse Death. Death ducked but thats what Ryu wanted.

When Death lept into a Shoryuken Ryu telepoted away. Ryu cupped his palms and energy gathered. He released a Hadouken.

It slammed into Death's back.Death got up quickly and thrusted his hand forward. His painting glew in white and a lightning bolt flew towards Ryu.

Ryu ducked at the last moment and avoided the blast.It burned threw the tree behind him. Death stood ready and Ryu approached slowly. Then Ryu punched at Death. Death blocked and caught his wrist. He then caught Ryu by the arm and threw him over his right shoulder.

Ryu summersaulted in midair and landed on his feet. But when he landed Death kicked his jaw. and then spun and tried to hit him with a roundhouse.

Ryu blocked the roundhouse and Death attacked again. This Time Ryu sensed power building in Death. He saw Death's painting glow in white. Ryu dodjed and jumped to the left.

Death's punch was surrounded by white electricity. Ryu quickly kicked his back and then then channeled his Chi.

He lept into the air and nailed Death with a Sinkuu Tatsumakisimpuu kayku. Death was hit hard. But when Ryu landed Death punched his chest hooked his jaw and kicked his abdomen. Ryu bent down and when Death was about to axe kick him he lept into a Shoryken.

Death was surprised and hit in the chin. Both landed on their feet. Then Ryu lunged forward. Death waited and blocked his punch. Ryu then kicked low. Death sidestepped and kicked Ryu.Then Death tried to kick Ryu's head.

Ryu ducked and summersaultd above Death. When death turned with a backfist Ryu blocked it. Then Ryu punched him twice and kicked his Abdomen. When Death bent over Ryu summersaulted backwards and nailed Death's face with his feet.

Watching Chunli fight taught him some tricks. Death crossed his hands and white energy surrounded his body. Ryu waited he hadn't a clue on what would happen. Then Death lunged forward. Ryu prepared to block.

Death started punching and kicking in lightning speed. Every strike Ryu managed to block he was hit by two other he couldn't stop.After three minuted of relentless onslaught.

Death lept into a high Shoryuken. Ryu landed on his back and tried to get up but Death quickly kicked his side.

Ryu groaned in pain and when Death tried again Ryu teleported to safety.

Death lunged again but this time. Ryu was ready and he stood completely still. Death kicked at his chest. Ryu grabbed the foot in his hand. Death tried to free his foot but failed.

Then Ryu dropped the foot and nailed him with a heavy elbow slam his elbow surrounded by Chi. Death huffed and then Ryu kicked his face and chest also surrounded with Chi. Finally Ryu jumped high and axe kicked Death. The kick connected with a blast of Blue.

The power of the kick was backed up by Ryu's Chi. It was so powerful it shattered Death's helmet. If it weren't for the helmet Death's skull would have been smashed.

Ryu looked at Death's face. It was exactly the same as his except. His eyes and hair were white. Death then in his rage raised his hands. Ryu cupped his hands as well. Both were surrounded by energy. Ryu's blue and Death's white.

Then both thrusted their hands forward And two large beams of energy were released. The beams collided in a white flash. Both fighters concentrated and tried to push the other's force back.

They were equal at first but slowly Ryu was pushing Death back. Then Death had an idea when he saw Chunli carrying Cyclop. He teleported away and then shot a lightning bolt at her.

It hit her back and she was flung forward to the ground with a acream of pain and surprise.

Ryu went wide eyed and screamed "Chunli!!!" Death took advantage and quickly jumped high and hit Ryu with a hurricane kick. Ryu was nailed and fell to the ground.

Ryu got up quickly and faked a left punch. Death ate the bait. Ryu stopped in midmotion and punched with his right hand. Then he kicked Death twice and uppercutted him. Then Ryu channeled his Chi. He cupped his palm and fire gathered. He shot a Shalunetsu Hadouken at Death's chest.

Death was hurled backwards. Ryu quickly ran to Chunli's side. She was breathing heavily. She opened her eyes and saw him "R..Ryu" Ryu was crying "Chunli don't leave me now, please". Chunli closed her eyes. Ryu could sense she was alive but barely.

He cried over her limp body. "He remebered Shadowbane showing him a similiar picture in a dream a long time ago" He channeled his Chi. He gave her his lifeforce and healed her. Then when he sensed she was stable and would be okay he stopped.

All of a sudden Ryu was blasted from the side. He was hurled off Chunli and onto a tree. He rolled on his side and saw Death. Death's had his fist raised and smoke rised out of it.

Ryu shook his head. and got up. Death then spoke. "Ha what a worthless gesture. I knew she would be your downfall". Ryu was surprised "So you can talk" Ryu said.

Death nodded "Don't bother saving your little Friend when I'm threw with you I'll personally destroy everything you care for. No one can escape Death"

Ryu felt his power rise. He was trained to protect his friends and he almost failed. He finally understood the meaning of th fight. It was to protect what you loved and what was right in the world: Love,trust,loyalty.

Ryu's eyes sparked in blue. He summoned upon a power he had only heard of from his foes. His untapped potential. He got up and gazed at Death with a cold impassie face his eyes glowing in blue.

"You coward, Using my loved ones a weapon against me.Usually I dislike destroying a foe But you leave me no choice." Ryu entered his stance.

Death lunged again.Ryu blocked. He punched death's chest. The Chi in Ryu increased his pysical strength. Death was hurled backwards. Death clutched his chest in pain.

Death's armor was dented into the shape of a fist. "How do you have such power? Its inconcievable" Ryu stood silently and Death summoned all his might and the armor's power. "If losing my armor is what it takes to kill you then so be it" He raised his hands and lightning blazed around them.A blue-white aure surounded him. He held he energy for a few seconds. The energy destroyed his armor as its energy depleted.

Then Death screamed "DIE DRAGON!!!" and thrusted his arms forward. Ryu crossed his arms. and a faint blue aure surrounded him and slowly got brighter and stronger. When the beam connected a huge white and blue flash blinded Death and Chunli that woke up to see the frightining show.

"Ryu!!!" Chunli shouted in fear. Mel and Mariko that saw this ran to Chunli's side before being blinded by the flash as well.

BEFORE THE FIGHT INSIDE APOCALYPSE'S CAVE SECTOR GAMMA

Apocalypse was standing in a room. It was filled with artifacts he claimed in his earlier years from his attacking of mankind. Before him stood two figures one was Bison and the other Akuma.

"Ah so you two have returned to be destroyed. I must thank you for saving me the trouble later" Apocalupse said angrily.

Akuma laughed "Is that so En saba nour?" Apocalypse eyes went wide "how did you.." Bison laughed "We have our sources"

Apocalypse laughed "Well then you think you can beat me just because you know my identity"

Akuma and Bison entered their stances. Bison jumped high and tried to ladn behind Apocalypse. Apocalypse turned his hand into a hammer and nailed Bison with a backfist.

Akuma jumped behind Apocalypse's head and channeled his Chi and shot a Tenma Gou Zankuu. Apocalypse turned his hand into a shield and blocked the projetile. Then he turned his hand into a fly swatter and whacked Akuma.

"The insects are so big these days" Apocalyse joked. Bison and Akuma continued trying various moves to hit Apocalypse's neck but failed. Apocalypse was too protective over the back of his neck. They were both injured and in pain.

Then Apocalypse heard a scream "Die dragon" and was curious.He grabbed both by the neck and walked towards the gate of the base. When he arived outside he was overjoyed.

Death was panting and smoke came out of his hands. His armor was gone and he was now only in the pants Apocalypse gave him.

Ryu was nowhere to be found. On the ground before Death lay a smoking red bandana and two fighting gloves. "Good job Death you truly are my greatest minion."

Death bowed. Apocalypse laughed "Soon miss Xiang I'll create a legion of Ryu clones and conquer the world and you and your little friends can't do a thing about it."

Chunli was crying and so were Mariko and Mel. Death spoke "To think I beat the Dragon so easily. And I thought he was good he was just a pushover" He laughed but then coughed as he was kicked from behind.

"The fight is not over you cowardly b*st*rd. I'm not defeated yet and now you shall pay for your arrogance"

Death was too weak to talk as he got up. The blast had taken alot from him. Ryu was normal again his eyes brown and focused. He ws surrounded by blue fire and then he nailed Death with a Shin Shiryuken.

Death screamed in pain as he died. Ryu landed on his feet and picked up his bandana and gloves.He wore them and entered his stance.

"Now its your turn Apocalypse" Apocalypse laughed "I had a feeling you would win so I came prepared" then he threw a object. It exploded and smoke came out. Ryu coughed and fell limp.

Chunli whispered "knockout gas" Apocalypse "Well I guess I'll have to clone you myself this time" Then he started approaching Ryu.

THREE HOURS BEFORE

SHADOWBANE'S FORMER THRONEROOM UNDER THE HIMILAYAS

A green beam hit a stone statue built like Shadowbane.a rumbling sound was heard and a green expolsion was heard. Then the statue's eyes opened they glew in green.

"I live again" Shadowbane screamed. The stone turned into flesh and Shadowbane was once again alive and protected by his armor.

He walked down from the little pedistal were the statue was. He flexed his arms." Time to work" Shadowbane said to himself.He opened a blue portal and stepped threw it.

He stood on the himilaya mountain. He gazed at the scenary below him. Then he sensed a battle from a distant point far away. He spread his wings flying towards the area his curiosity growing. When he awoke he sensed Kain's magic from there. "Could it be is Kain still alive. I must find out".

PRESENT TIME

Shadowbane had seen the fight from the air and was impressed. He saw Apocalypse. "Ahh the little tribe leader Kain played with. I understand he probaby stole one of Kain's books" Shadowbane thought to himself. Then he landed right in front of Apocalypse and blocked his path.

Chunli went wide eyed "SH.SHA.SHADOWBANE!!!" Shadowbane bowed "Pleasure to see you again too Miss Xiang" Shadowbane looked at Apocalypse and then at a limp figure of War a few feet away.

He turned to Apocalypse "Where did you find the book?" Apocalypse laughed "I don't know who you are and actually I don't.Now move out of the way."

Shadowbane stood and crossed his arms "Again I ask you where did you find the book?". Apocalypse crossed his arms "Why should I tell you.I'm much stronger than you'll ever be". Apocalypse said and rubbed his chin.

Shadowbane's eyes glew in Red "Tell me or I rip the information from your soul" Apocalypse laughed "OOOO I'm so scared". Shadowbane raised his hand and the soul reaver appeared. "Your days of playing are over. You stole our magic for that you'll die"

Apocalypse turned his hand into a sword. He swung at Shadowbane. Shadowbane swung back and Cut Apocalype's hand off.

Apocalypse screamed in Rage and Pain "How is that possible? My armor is made of a indestructable alloy". Shadowbane laughed now "Kain was no fool, Did you honestly think he'd make you stronger then himself."

Apocalypse backed away. Shadowbane's eyes turned into empty black holes. "Your soul is mine Apocalypse" He stabbed Apocalypse with his sword.

Green energy surrounded the sword and entered into Shadowbane's hands. He let Apocalypse fall limp to the ground.

He turned around and looked at Bison and Akuma "And as for you two if you ever touch my computer again I'll destroy you too" Then he looked at Ryu and Chunli.

Chunli gulped Shadowbane smiled "Tell Ryu were even" He then teleported away.

Then another smaller X-men ship landed near the blackbird. Beast jumped out of the plane. He then saw Apocalypse's dead form. "How in the world?" he mumbled.

Chunli told him not to worry and take the X-men back to the base. Bison and Akuma picked up E.Ryu.The armor around him disappered when Apocalypse died.Then they dragged him to the Vtol shadowlaw ship that was hidden near the cave.

Chunli and Mel picked Ryu up and took him to the blackbird.And a minute later It took off. And beast took off in the smaller ship behind them.
