The Quest: Book 1 Ch. 8

IN SOME CAVERN

Four figures sat near a black table. One was an Orc with long white hair and a black cloak. Another was a minotaur with glowing blue eyes and a rich red cape. One was a lich a skeletal man wearing rich wizard garbs with his two eye holes glowing in yellow. The final one was a human with sharp teeth and claws, his eyes glew with red fire.

"We have gathered here to prepare for war" The orc said. "Thats obvious Nagul" the red eyed figure spoke in a deep tone. "I know that Felagra but we must agree on battle plans Etc" the orc answered. The demon spoke "I'll help in anyway as long as those accursed priests and paladins suffer. "I Kreegen the archlich agree as well" The skeketel figure spoke.

The Warlock Minotaur looked at him "I Reshan shall agree as long as those foolish Wizards die as well".

They all nodded "Then lets start the battle plans" The orcish mage Nagul said and rubbed his hands.

MEANWHILE BACK IN THE WATER TEMPLE

Chunli,Mel,Mariko,Guy and Guile stood back to back. Brad took his distance and swung his battle axe. The blue skinned orcs approached slowly.

Then they lunged quickly. Chunli blocked a kick and dodjed the follow-up punch. Then she palm striked at an orc.

The orc with surprising speed grabbed her hand and punched her face. Then when he tried again.Chunli swatted the punch. She then kneed his abdomen and swept his feet while releasing her hand.

Another one jumped and intened to axe kick her. She lept into the ar and nailed him with a Tensou Kayku. Then she landed on her hands and nailed another orc with a Spinning bird kick.

Mariko was blocking the attacks of two orcs. She had learned to defend much better under Ryu's guidence. She blocked a punch and used the orcs momentum to twist his arm then when he bended forward she hammered his back with kick.

Then she punched another and kicked at him. He ducked under the kick and tried to backfist. Mariko with great speed ducked and lept into a hurricane kick.

But as she landed one of the other orcs grabbed her from behind in a chokehold. Then he suddenly released it. Mariko without any doubts spun around and nailed him with a hard kick to the jaw.

She saw Guile's hands were releasing smoke. She motioned thank you with her head and faced another orc. He attacked and then faked. Mariko cursed as she fell for the bait. He spun around and kicked her then he swept her feet.

He was about to stomp her face. Mariko rolled aside His foot stomped on the stone floor. Then he was hit from behind by another orc. Mariko saw Mel had thrown him.

Mel was been fighting off two orcs with his father's offensive style. His relentless offense proved too much for the orcs that fell to the might of the Masters fist.

Guile was also ttacking an orc. He punched quickly and kicked low. The orc blocked and dodjed. Guile tried again and failed to hit. He faked a kick. When the orc sidestepped Guile smiled and nailed him with a summersault sniper.

The orc then fell on its back. Guile heard a growl from behind and saw an orc lunge at him. Guile sidestepped and then tripped the orc. The orc crashed into the other orc.

Meanwhile Guy dodjed from an orc's attacks expertly. When the orc tried to kick Guy lept backwards he flipped and landed behind him. He kicked him in the back. The orc flew forwards and crashed into the wall. Guy raised a brow. The orc crashed into the wall and instead of just crashing into it turned into a blob of water fell off the wall and reformed.

He kicked the surprised Guy and kneed his face. Guy shook his head. When the orc tried to punch again Guy blocked and planted both feet in the orcs abdomen then he kicked and lept above the orc. He descended with his elbow smashing into the orc's head. The orc fell uncontious Or so Guy thought.

Brad was swinging his axe skillfully and slashing orcs. Their blood was transparent as if water. Then they fell to the ground after being hit.

All of them were uncontious. The others turned back to the wall and searched for Ryu. They didn't notice the puddles that were the orcs very slowly approach eachother and start to combine.

MEANWHILE IN THE ROOM OF THE TEST OF BRAVERY

Ken was facing the Akuma clone. The clone lunged forward and struck with a punch. Ken swatted and tried his own punch. But the clone Akuma blocked then he kicked Ken and elbowed his abdomen. Ken looked surprised "This clone is somehow just as skilled as the Real Akuma"

Ken cupped his hands and released a Hadouken. The clone cupped his own hands and tried to released a Gou Hado but instead a ball of red water shot out. But it did negate the Hadoken.

Ken used the distraction to jump above Akuma and nail his back woth a kick. Then he punched but the clone teleported away. Ken was nailed by a hurricane kick and he fell down shaking his head. "Where's Ryu when ya need him?" Ken asked sarcastically

Then Akuma nailed him with a water Messatsu Gou Hado. Ken fell to the ground. Ken slowly backed away until he felt a sting in his back. Akuma was approaching and he was with his back to the deadly spikes.

Cammy was facing Bison. Cammy lunged with a kick. The clone teleported just like the real Bison. He grinned and scissor kicked at Cammy. Cammy rolled aside and kicked his chest them she spun around and tried to punch.

The clone jumped high and then dived forward his hands covered with blue energy. He slammed into Cammy. She fell on her back breathing heavily He stood with his hands crossed and laughed just like the real Bison. He then lept and tried to stomp Cammy.

Cammy rolled aside and swept his feet. Then she tried a cannon drill the clone. But the clone then was covered with blue energy and he flew into a perfect imatation of the Psyco Crusher except he was surrounded by water. Instead of being burned Cammy felt Ice cold energy flow threw her.

She got up very slowly and looked at Bison with a killer gaze. He laughed just like the real Bison. Cammy shook her fists rage building inside her.

Meanwhile Dan tried to attack Sagat. Sagat stood ready.Dan lept forward and kicked. Sagat blocked and grabbed him by the gi. Then he hit him with a series of knees to the head. Dan shook his head.

Sagat shot a Tiger water fireball. Dan negated it with a Gadouken. Sagat leap forward with his knee. Dan dodjed and kicked Sagat. Then he punched him and used a Gadoken.

Sagat backed off. Then Sagat lunged he lept with his knee. Dan ducked but when he turned. Sagat nailed him with a Tiger uppercut.

Dan landed on his back. Sagat stomped down. Dan rolled aside and tried to sweep Sagat's feet. Sagat lept and Kicked Dan's chest. Dan rolled on the ground. He turned around and saw he was extremly close to the spikes on the wall. He saw Sagat shot his bigger version of the Tiger.

Dan ducked and thn lunged forward. Sagat tried to kick but Dan kicked his chest. Then Dan tried to punch and Sagat blocked and kicked his face.

Dan fell backwards. He was lying on the ground panting Sagat crossed his arms and laughed just like he did when they first met and defeated Dan when he was very young.

Meanwhile Derek was facing a undead knight The knight swung his sword. Derek blocked and parried the blow. He spun around and swung his sword.

The knight dodjed and thrusted his sword. Derek sidestepped and swung the sword. It sank deep into the knight torso. The knight laughed and swung his sword again.

It sank into Derek's thigh. Derek clenched his teeth. He released the sword and swung it again. The knight parried. And tried to Chop Derek blocked.

Then they stood there in a battle of strength each trying to push the other to the ground. In the knight made a quick step and Derek lost his ballance. Then the knight hit Derek's chest. Derek's armor clanged and Derek fell backwards.

The knight loomed over him.

Lorain was about 5'9 and was now facing a 7' foof troll. It was holding a huge wodden club. Lorain unseathed a short sword she had strapped to her thigh and stood there.

The troll swung. Lorain dodjed and cut his arm. a trail of crimson flew weakly down the troll's arm. He punched her. She flew backwards. She took a knife out of her boot and threw it towards the Troll's leg. It sank deep.

The troll cried in pain. It grabbed the Knife and pulled it out. It looked at Lorain and bashed her in the ribs with the club. Lorain flew 5 feet backwards. She coughed blood and saw hin approach the wound in his leg didn't bother him much.

She rolled aside and slashed its back. The troll swung its club. Lorain ducked and then stabbed its shoulder. The troll cried in pain once more. Then it punched her in the abdomen. She fell on her back and cuddled into a ball holding her aching stomach.

Baltazar was standing in front of the lich. Both raised their hand and their eyes glew in blue.The lich shot a lightning bolt when his eyes turned white. Baltazar formed a blue energy shield and then used his staff to shoot a fireball at the lich.

The lich avoided the impact and then jumped forward. He thrusted his arms and six beams of lightning flew out of his hands each had another color.

Baltazar dispelled four but two hit him. He flew backwards. His old body quaked in pain. He reached for his pocket and took out a flask. He drunk its red liquid and immeadiatly felt better.

The lich was looming above him. He kicked his staff away. He picked him up by the collar. Then he laughed a dark cold laughter that put fear in Baltazar.
