Shadowbane was watching the battle. He shook his head "D*mn you Kain all this bloodshed could have been prevented"

He saw hundreads of warriors evil and good fall and "litter" the battlefield. The once green grass was stained with crimson and green blood.

He sensed a power approaching he entered stance. a purple portal appeared. Kain stepped out of it. Shadowbane noticed his new scar on his face.

He looked at himself and saw his scar across his chest. "Come for another beating Kain? I'm always glad to kick your *ss" Shadowbane said.

Kain entered stance and grolwed "Your luck ends here you worthless maggot" Kain said angrily. Shadowbane smirked "I maybe a magoot but I'm a maggot that beat you" Shadowbane shot a bolt of energy at Kain.

Kain swatted it "I'm here to settle the score you fool" Kain said and lunged with a kick. Shadowbane blocked and sidestepped the followup backfist.

Kain jumped and dodjed an uppercut that Shadowbane tried. "Soon evil will conquer this realm and it won't matter if you rebuild the seal or not cause no humans will survive"

Kain smirked and kicked Shadowbane. He nailed his chin picking him into the air. Shadowbane flipped in midair and kicked Kain's chest. Kain backed away and shot a wave of fire.

Shadowbane opened his hand and a wall of ice energy negated the fire. "From what I see the battle is even don't assume victory yet, you retart"

Kain attacked with lightning speed. He kicked and punched Shadowbane. Shadowbane fell bacwards and fell to his knees.

Kain rushed to kick his ribs. Shadowabne rolled aside and swept Kain's feet then he shot a lightning bolt and hit Kain as he decsended from the sweep.

Kain rolled on the ground. Shadowbane summoned a metoer and threw it at Kain. Kain punched it and it shattered. "Is that the best you can do?"

Shadowbane lunged with a chop kick. Kain easily sidestepped and kiced his back. Then he grabbed Shadowbane's hair and shoved his face into the ground.

Shadowbane grabbed his wrist and slammed him into the earth. He then picked Kain by the neck and channeled fire into his hand. Kain clenched his teeth and then shot lightning from his eyes at Shadowbane's eyes.

Shadowbane cried in pain and let Kain go. Kain took advantage and summoned his Soul reaver and slashed deep into Shadowbane's abdomen. Shadowbane cried in pain and fell to his back. Then he could see again although it was hazzy.

Shadowbane cried in surprise as he saw Kain's reaver about to slice his chest. He summoned his reaver and blocked the swing.

He channled his power and teleported away. Kain shot a bolt of fire. Shadowbane swatted it back to Kain with the reaver in a baseball motion. It hit Kain's chest.

Kain fell and Shadowbane took advantage and stabbed at Kain's lower ribcage. He missed the upper ribcage when Kain moved.

Kain motioned with his hand and Shadowbane was flung backwards by telekenetic force. Shadowbane landed on his feet. Both lunged forward with their swords and started fighting ignoring their wounds and pain. None passing the others guard. Both bleeding and severly wounded.

Meanwhile Ryu and Ken reached the top and saw. Shadowbane swordfight with Kain. "Who the h*ll is that?" Ken asked. Ryu shrugged "beats me but I sense evil even greater than Shadowbane emanating from hi.." before he could finish

The Figure fighting Shadowbane was flung by Shadowabne. He crashed into the ledge breaking it. Both falled about to pummel to their death. Shadowbane jumped after them and grabbed them he put them on the ground "Stay out of this fight this is personel" Shadowbane said in a menacing tone.

He raised his arms and blocked a bolt of lightning with his hand. Shadowbane lept and flew back towards Kain. He tacked him. Kain and he rolled on the ground. Then both backened away. They summoned their reavers and stood their both attempting to push the other back.

Meanwhile Ryu looked at Ken "Hey are you bleeding?" He asked. Ken shook his head. Ryu looked at himself "Wow that means that Shadowbane himself is actually wounded." Ryu said. Ken looked at the battlefield. "Let go back we can take care of Shadowbane later" Ken said and Ryu nodded.

Meanwhile Shadowbane was fighting with all his strength but was slowly weakening.Kain finally knocked his Reaver out of his hands and kicked him. Shadowbane lay on the ground. Kain loomed above him smiling his eyes glowing. He was breathing heavily and bleeding.

He gave a truimphic laugh "I guess were even now. Too bad for you that there is no round three" Shadowbane was too tired to move. But he summoned his power and his eyes glew in blue. He shoved Kain into a huge boulder.Kain crashed forcefully shattered the stone and slowly rised to his feet.

"Indeed you've won this time. But we shall meet again." Shadowbane said. Kain smirked and knew he won so decided to retur and heal and was about to leave by summoning a portal. Then both he and Shadowbane were hit by two huge blasts of energy.

Shadowbane only saw his agressors face before falling into the darkness of uncontiousness. His skin was blue, he had white eyes and half his mouth and nose were covered with a brown cloth with white writing on it.

Both reavers disappeared the minute they fell uncontious. a laugh was heard "Finally I've got you just where I want you and I even got a little bonus" The attacker said as he picked them up and walked threw a blue portal that he himself summoned.
