Kain backed away and jumped over Shadowbane and stood near Chunli and picked her up by the neck. She was still uncontious.

"Don't move or this pretty little flower will get it" Kain said his eyes glowing in green.

Shadowbane stopped approaching. "You coward Kain leave the mortals out of this" Kain laughed "I've underestimated you It won't happen again. Now drop the reaver nice and slowly"

Shadowbane complied "What Now oh cowardly one?" Shadowbane asked.

Kain held the soul reaver. He smiled "Now my child, I leave but next time The outcome won't be the same. But first to be certain you don't follow me."

He took out the three combined stones. Shadowbane went wide eyed. "No Kain don't" Kain laughed and threw the stone high. he lowered Chunli.

"What will it be me or the mortals future the clocks ticking Child?" Kain said. Shadowbane spread his wings and flew to get the stone. Kain laughed "Your compassion makes you weak. Next time you'll lose dear child"

He summoned a portal and walked threw it. Shadowbane grabbed the stone and combined them all.Shadowbane was bleeding and very weak but still he was pleased "I won. I finally faced my past and learned the truth. Someday Kain we shall meet again" he promised himself.

He put the stone near the mortals. He healed their wounds and left to think of the recent events and heal himself.

THE NEXT MORNING

Ryu awoke and saw his friends were still uncontious but he sensed they were alive and exhaled in relief.

"Thank god they're o.k" Ryu whispered. He looked at himself. "What is that vampire up to?" Ryu asked himself as he saw his healed wounds.

The others awoke. "What happened?" Ken asked. "I feel like I was run over by a truck" Guile said and held his head.

They then noticed Ryu. "What are you doing here Ryu?" Chunli asked "Didn't I tell you to rest" She said anger apparent in her tone.

Ryu nodded "I was ambushed by giant red creatures. I won but they said you would fall in their trap so I ran to help you. Then I luckily beat them and that all I remember"

They then looked at the forest. It was shattered and burned."Did we miss something Dad?" Mariko asked

Ryu shrugged "Beats me" They then noticed the stone. "Hey where did that come from?" Guy asked.

Dan squinted "Whats that d*mn vampire up to?" He said and rubbed his chin.

Ryu picked it up "I wonder"

Derek shrugged "It doesn't matter really we've got more important things to do I was told that War has broken between the human alliance and the alliance of darkness. We've got one week to get to the citidal of Ironfist so we can help are people."

Lorain nodded "My priority is to my people I'm sorry" Ryu motioned the Crew to gather around. After talking for a few minutes. "We want to help. Fighting evil is what we do"

Baltazar played with his beard "Very well its settled lets get moving"

They started walking towards the north.

MEANWHILE KAIN'S THRONEROOM

Kain was on a rampage. shattering walls and furniture. "D*mn him ,I'll rip him apart" He screamed the walls shaking.

The castle guards fled his anger afraid to lose their lives or worst their souls. He looked at a globe "You love those mortals now don't you son? I'll destroy them and then I'll destroy you"

He laughed a insane laughter in a sinister voice. "In one week my forces shall defeat the humans If they fail I myself will destroy those mortals"

He sat on his chair "Soon son I shall have my revenge that I swear"
