The Quest: Book 1 Prologue

Shadowbane was standing in stance all the SF crew surrounding him. Ken lunged at Shadowbane with a high kick. Shadowbane blocked and sidestepped. Guile tried and missed a Flash kick.

Shadowbane then nailed Ken with a punch to the gut. Then he summersaulted above the street fighters and motioned them to approach.

Guy ran towards Shadowbane and jumped high intending to slam him with a descending Elbow slam. Shadowbane's eyes glew in white. He raised his hand and blocked then he grabbed Guy's gi. Then white electricity channeled threw Guy rendering him uncontious.

Shadowbane was then hit by an ice cold energy kick by Mariko.He felt no pain but let Guy go.

He turned to Mariko. Mariko punched at him. He swatted it.She tried to kick it was blocked. Attack after attack she tried to hit but all was blocked.

Ryu that saw the danger rushed to help his daughter. "Leave her alone Shadowbane!!" He shouted and descended into a jump kick. Shadowbane dodjed it and faced Ryu. Ryu attacked with various combinations of kicks and blocks.

Shadowbane blocked and retaliated. He easily countered Ryu since Ryu was never an agressor rather a patient defender.

Ryu was hit various times and was bleeding and covered with blue marks.He managed to hit Shadowbane a few times but the latter seemed unfazed bt the pain.

Shadowbane than Sensed a burst of Chi gathering from behind.His eyes turned silver and a Chou Kikosho passed threw his body and nailed Ryu.

Chunli gasped and Shadowbane smiled. Chunli channeled her Chi and attacked him with lightning kicks. He was hit by the move. He shook his head. And saw her raise her hands again.

Shadowbane jumped high and landed behind her. He kicked her head and than grabbed her by the hair. He picked her up and threw her onto Mariko. They crashed and rolled backwards.

Then Dan,Ken and Mel attacked Shadowbane. He managed to dodje and block most of their attacks.After being hit in the face Shadowbane decided to take the fight to the next level. The he slowly started to become aggresive. He retaliated with more power and skill.

Ken kicked at him. He ducked and uppercutted Ken. Ken was lifted off his feet. Dan kicked his back and Mel hit him with a hurricane kick. Shadowbane. Backed away and his eyes glew in dark blue.

His body was followed with blue shadows. He striked at Dan and then before Dan could block Shadpwbane attacked with a kick to the knee.

Dan blocked the punch but cried in pain as his knee was broken. Dan fell to the ground. Shadowbane grabbed Mel and Dan by the gis then he smashed them together with extreme force. They fell limp.

Then Ken rolled towards him "Leave my son alone you b*st*rd" Ken shouted and lept into a Shinryuken. Shadowbane was covered with scarlet flames. Kan then backed away.

Shadowbane was launched in the air by the punch. He flipped in midair and landed on his feet laughing the flames surrounded him.

Then raised his hands and the fire entered his palm. He closed his hand and the flames died out.

Then he kicked Ken and punched Ken's face three times. Then he punched his ribs. A loud cracking sound was heard acompanied with Ken's groan of pain.

Shadowbane was about to stomp his head him when Guile jumped on his and tried to choke him from behind. Shadowbane eye's glew in white.

Then electricity covered his body. Guile was catapulted back and fell on the sand limp. Ryu channeled his Chi and tried to nail Shadowbane with a new move he thought of He ducked low and was covered by red Chi. He lept into a Shin Shoryuken that was covered with red flames.

Shadowbane avoided the move by teleporting. The minute Ryu landed Shadowbane slammed a vicious kick to his abdomen. Then Shadowbane punched him five times in the face and chest.

Finally his eyes glew in green. He kicked Ryu's chest with godlike strength the kick surrounded by green energy.

Ryu was sent flying backwards. He rolled on the ground before falling uncontious.

Mariko channeled her Chi and joined her fighting power with Chunli. Both attacked with renewed vigor and strength.

Shadowbane was nailed by three kicks and five punches and various combinations .Then when both channeled their Chi for a projectile. Shadowbane teleported behind them.

He put one hand on each shoulder and a green glow covered Chunli and Mariko.

Both cried in pain and fell to the ground weak and panting. Shadowbane laughed as their soul energy entered his body.

He dusted himself and spoke "Foolish mortals I told you to come quietly. "

Then Shadowbane's eyes glew in blue but this time when he clenched his fist. a blue aura surrounded the entire crew.

"Now enough with these games Prepare yourselves" He used his other hand to sends purple colored magical chains that surrounded everyone.

He raised his hands and blue runes in an unknown language surrounded them then they landed on the ground around them. A huge blue pillar of light surrounded them and they vanished.a huge portal remained in the place where the piller blazed.

Shadowbane followed them into it and the portal vanished in a blue flash.
