The Quest: Ryu's Journey Ch. 2 - Gouki!

Gouki!
Gouki awoke suddenly, thinking that someone had called his name. He
listened, but was sure he didn't hear anything. Slowly, he extended his senses,
and the room lit up with a red light.
Nothing. Goutetsu was asleep in the other room, but other than that nothing
was even alive and moving for 100 yards as far as he could sense.
Gouki: I've gotta relax more. I'm starting to hear things...
Gouki lay back down in bed, and slowly started falling back asleep.
Gouki!
Gouki: Ok, I KNOW I heard something that time!
Slowly, Gouki got out of bed and dressed in his traditional gray gi. He
listened again for any sounds of movement, any sign of what was making that
noise, and again he heard nothing. He set out to find what it was, and stepped
out into the main room of the dojo.
Gouki!
The voice was louder now. He could almost tell a direction. He listened...
Gouki!
Gouki: There!
He turned to face the side of the dojo, and looked at what appeared to be
nothing but a wooden wall. He looked very closely, and noticed a small outline
of a green glow coming from one section of the wall.
Gouki: Hmmm.... What could this be?...
Approaching the section of wall, he noticed a small indentation in it. He
looked closer, and saw that it was a hidden switch.
Silently, he undid the switch, and opened the hidden compartment. Inside,
lit seemingly by it's own otherworldly light, was a scroll. Silently, he picked
it up, and began reading...

Goutetsu awoke suddenly when a surge of power seemed to pass through his
entire body.
Goutetsu: Oh no... It can't be what I think it is...
Goutetsu raced down the hall, and arrived to find the dojo empty. He
silently undid the hidden switch and pulled the scroll out for a second, and
examined it before replacing it back in it's hiding space.
As he turned around, something grabbed him by the neck in a powerful grip.
Goutetsu stared into the eyes of his pupil for a very long time before he
spoke.
Goutetsu: "Gouki! What are you doing?"
Not Gouki anymore....
Goutetsu: No!
Akuma: Yes!
Akuma's arms blurred, stiking Goutetsu in 14 of his most vital areas, and
the final hit went straight to his heart. Goutetsu collapsed, dead on the spot.
Akuma stood over him, and his eyes glowed with a red light.
Akuma: You'r soul is mine!
