Shin-Dan Ch.9 Finding Dan...

The plane was soon in the air shortly after Guy met up with Ken, Ryu, and Chun-Li at the airport. All four were nervous, but not afraid. Ryu himself could've sworn Akuma was talking to him that instant... telling him Dan was lost, and there was nothing he or his friends could do... Ryu got up from his seat. Ken looked worried with Ryu's facial expressions. " Ryu? Something wrong, man?" Ryu shook his head. " No, just thinking that's all..." Ken took out his CD player and turned on the Wu-Tang Clan. " Hey, Ryu. Maybe you should listen to some music to help ease your mind." Then Ken mockingly added, " It'll help you concentrate on the fight. The fight is all..." Guy chuckled slightly " Funny, Ken....."

(At Akuma's island)

Akuma was sensing the foursome approaching their destinations. He grunted with anticipation. " They shouldn't try to defeat me on my home turf..." Akuma said, practicing his moves furiously. Akuma jumped up, and channeled a fireball through his hand that burst a rock formation into near-dust. "HMPH! if it's a fight they want, it is a fight they shall recieve! And when they are defeated, I shall not waste any time to dispose of them all as I did that miserable excuse for a warrior, Dan." Akuma then summoned his strongest Messatsu Go Hado, and the raw energy burst through his hands into the cave walls. The impact shook through the cave as the fireball burst through the cave wall with a loud booming. " I hope they are ready..."

(Back on the plane)

Guy was getting jittery. He honestly never faced Akuma himself, and definitely never faced Shin-Dan. Guy decided to get a little background from Chun-Li. " Chun-Li? You went up against Shin-Dan, correct?" Chun-Li nodded yes. " Well, then, can you tell me what I am to expect of him. I must know our opponents strentghs and weaknesses to properly confront him." Chun-Li began. " Well, Guy, for one thing Dan as Shin-Dan is definitely stronger, and in turn, his attacks are too." Ken overheard the conversation, and put his CD player down, to which Ryu picked up. " Wu-Tang, huh?" Ryu said, putting on the headphones. Chun-Li continued. " While I was facing him, he couldn't perform the Shun Goku Satsu. Something was missing... I believe it's because underneath Dan's...new, exterior, the Dan we all know is trying to rid himself of Shin-Dan." Guy half-groaned. " You mean we've got a Jekyll-Hyde situation with Dan?" Ken jumped in. " Possibly. Man", he chuckled, " don't we sound like Mulder and Scully..." Suddenly the co-captain came into the room. " Sir, we've reached the destination..."
