Shin-Dan Ch.6 The Intrusion

Dan was a little nervous. He did think he could defeat Sagat, but if he didn't, what would Akuma do? Akuma DID give him the power necessary to defeat and kill Sagat, so what's there to worry about? " What's there to worry about?" Dan said, his eyes glowing.

(Thailand) Sagat had heard the news that an unknown warrior wanted to challenge him. He laughed, almost heartily, before responding. " Whoever this...unknown warrior is, he'll definitely be sorry he EVER wanted a match with Sagat!" Sagat walked in an easy stride to his abode. A large, marble statue rose over his home, casting a shadow over the Thai warrior. He soon felt that he was neglecting his training. Sagat ALWAYS trained, no matter what the situation. Ever since Ryu defeated him years back, he has never gone a day without intense training. He began with his push-ups, but no, not ordinary push-ups. Sagat barely broke a sweat as he easily did one hundred-fifty pinkie push-ups without hesitation. He didn't notice Dan slowly approaching... Dan, quietly slipping through the bushes behind Sagat's statue, brushed into a bush. Sagat sprung up, looking around for the intruder. " WHO IS THAT? HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT MY TRAINING!" Dan slowly walked to the other side of the statue. Sagat was only getting angrier. " Well? WHO are YOU?" Dan slid from behind the statue, showing only his back to Sagat. " I am...the man that's going to kill you..."

Sagat wasn't amused. " You must be the mysterious warrior the people in the town were talking about. Well, then, show yourself!" Dan's anger was burning up from within him. He wanted to destroy Sagat so badly. He could've SWORN fire was coursing through his veins! Dan didn't even realize the beginnings of an Akuma-like kanji begin to form on his back, but Sagat did. " AKUMA? Well, YOU are the one who came here to defeat ME? " Dan had had enough! He whirled around on his heels, showing Sagat his identity. " OOOOOYYYYAAAAGGGGIIII!!!!!!" Dan screamed his rage like a dragon would scream fire.

" Dan Hibiki! Dan Hibiki? YOU...are the person, this mysterious warrior, who has come to defeat Sagat of Thailand?" Dan nodded. " Well, Dan. HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED YOUR LESSON? You cannot win! Your whole family can never win! I reign supreme!" Dan snarled.

" WE'LL see about that!" Dan tensed and got into his fighting stance. Sagat smiled at Dan, and got into his Thai stance. " I should WARN you, Hibiki", Sagat said circling Dan. " I will kill you this time when you lose."

" I've got news for you, Sagat. I'm NOT going to lose, and YOU'RE GOING TO DIE! DANKUKYAKU!!!"

Dan had the upper hand against Sagat on several occasions. Sagat was stunned by Dan's quickness and newfound agility. It's almost...as if...someone GAVE him new powers! Sagat thought. He didn't think long, though. Dan's fist connected with Sagat's jaw! Dan let out a triumphant " KORYUKEN!!!" Sagat hit the ground hard. Dan quickly converged on his fallen foe. " TIGER!" Dan was knocked off his feet by a ground Tiger Shot. " You wont best me, Hibiki!" Sagat said. Dan smiled at Sagat evilly. The two began circling each other, waiting for the other to strike. Dan took the initiative. He jumped at Sagat with a single knee. Sagat lunged foward, beginning a Tiger Blow. Dan anticipated, and warped immediately away from the danger upon landing on the ground. Sagat looked around. " Where are you Hibiki? I want to finish this NOW."

" GADOUKEN!!" Sagat was blasted in the back by Dan! Sagat recovered, and glared at Dan. He eyed him up and down, up and down. The different stance, the powerful attacks, the red eyes... THIS is NOTHING like the Dan he faced a year or two ago. " You learn FAST." Dan said mockingly. He slid over to Sagat. Sagat this time caught Dan with a Tiger Blow. Dan watched himself sail through the air. " HA! You are STILL to weak to fight me, Hibiki!" Sagat said landing on his feet as Dan landed on his back. THUD. " NOW, it is about time I get serious..." Sagat said, cracking his knuckles. " Prepare for the end, Hibiki. YOU are about to join your father..." Father... father...father..." FATHER!" Dan said out loud. He quickly got up. Sagat thrust foward, yelling out " Tigerrr GENOCIDE!!!", but Dan, in a flash of white, knocked Sagat back to the earth! " KORRRRYYYUUUKEN!!!" Sagat was the one this time to hit the hard ground with a THUD. Dan knew it was time. Sagat didn't get up. Dan focused, just as Akuma told him to... Suddenly, his eyes lit up. " I've FOUND IT..." Dan murmured. He slowly began to move foward in Sagat's direction. " Uhhh," Sagat began to slowly get up. NO! Dan said in his mind. He suddenly began to slide towards Sagat faster, as if (SOMEONE) was pushing him... " THIS, is for my FATHER!!!" Dan yelled. He was a mere foot away from Sagat!!! Sagat finally got up, recognizing the danger. Dan screamed, " OOOYYAGGGII!!!" before connecting with Sagat's body. Sagat felt the searing pain, the multiple hits. He thought he saw a flash of white light, just before the whole world went dark...and all he could think about...was Dan. Sagat screamed only once from the intense pain. Then silence.

" I have done it, Akuma! Sagat lives...NO MORE!..." Dan yelled to the heavens. Then he passed out, right over Sagat's lifeless body.
