Akuma's flashing kanji was nearly the only source of light in the dark cave. Dan shuddered. He felt a cold wind rush by. WAS that the air, or Akuma's evil presence, he wondered. He had been walking in silence with Akuma for so long, he completly lost track of time, as if it mattered now. Dan squinted. Light! Akuma finally said something. " Here we are..." The light was bright, but dim at the same time. Dan looked around suspiciously. He could've sworn he had either been here or at least heard of it before. Akuma spoke up. " Yes. THIS is the same place that me and Ryu fought. THIS is the place that I told him how he shares the same power as myself....." Dan was amazed at Akuma. Akuma almost angry. Not the anger that is like rage, the anger that happens like when a relative dies... " It doesn't matter." Akuma said, eyes glowing like hot coals at Dan. " YOU will become what I am. Correct?" Dan gulped hard. He still didn't know if he was prepard for what was going to happen to him. But, all the years of suffering his nightmares of his father being brutally killed in battle as he watched in horror, Chun-Li's rejection of him, all the years of constant rejection from people... " Dan is such a loser!" " Dan... I just can't see myself with you in a serious relationship..." " Dan? I've heard of him. That's the punk in the pink gi?" " I've killed your father, young Hibiki..." I KILLED YOUR FATHER... father...father...father... Dan couldn't take it anymore! " AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" He wailed a long scream that rattled every nook and cranny of the cave. Akuma watched him. He nearly smiled at Dan's miserable misfortunes that plaugued and haunted him everyday. " So?" Akuma asked Dan.

" I'LL DO IT..."

(Two weeks later)

" I can't believe it. Dan's...gone." Chun-Li took a tissue, and wiped away a trickle of tears. Ken and Ryu were close by, consoling some people who knew Dan. " He was such a good kid. Had so many bad breaks, though..." One person said. " Chun-Li stopped the ctying, and asked Ken a question. " WHY would Akuma do such a heartless thing? Dan didn't even provoke him. Why?..." Ken couldn't answer the question. " I don't know, Chun-Li, I don't know..." Ryu hadn't said much during the tim. He was thinking quietly. Ken walked over to him. " You all right, man?" " You know something? Whenever Akuma does the Shun Goku Satsu, the shadow trail behind him stays very close to him..." Ken was puzzled. " What does that have to do with-"

"- What I'm saying is Akuma's shadows were far away from each other, which would mean that he WARPED Dan somewhere!" Ken brightened up. But he quickly thought about it. " Yes, Ryu, that might be true, Ryu, but if Akuma might've warped him away to kill him. He knows he can't take all three of us at the same time."

" He could. Trust me, he could..." Ryu said solemnly. Then he added, " I'm going to look for Dan, and Akuma. I really don't think Dan is dead. I think Akuma is hiding him..." Ken was even more puzzled with Ryu. " But...why?"

While they were thinking it out, a whoosh of air, followed by a scream, tore through the air!!! " YOUR DEDUCTION SKILLS ARE IMPECCABLE, RYU! IT'S A SHAME YOUR FIGHTING SKILLS AREN'T!!!" Ryu and Ken both looked at each other. " Akuma."

It was Akuma once again. He wasn't wearing his dark blue gi, instead he wore a white one. " White...and Akuma. Purity... and evil. PURE EVIL....." Akuma snarled, bearing his fang-like teeth and laughed scornfully. " That's right, Ryu!" Ryu ripped out of his plainclothes, revealing his own white gi. Ryu looked over to Ken, who was already in his reserve orange gi and in his Shotokan stance. Chun-Li saw what was happening, and simply took of her sports jacket. " One against three? It hardly seems fair..." Akuma said, his aura radiating a red glow that seemed to rise from shoulder to shoulder. Akuma then actually smiled. " I HAVE SOMEBODY I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE TO YOU..." and with saying that, another person MATERIALIZED next to him! " ANOTHER Akuma?" Ryu thought. He looked closer... the long brown hair... the face... Chun-Li recognized who it was, and was shocked. " Oh my God......... it's-it's..."

Ken finished the sentence. " Dan..."

Akuma then both laughed the most trully evil laugh anyone ever heard. " Permission to speak, Sifu?" Dan asked, his voice still the same, but with a hint of evil... " Si-sifu????" Ken, Ryu, and Chun-Li were all puzzled. " Yeah, THAT'S right. AKUMA TRAINED ME!!! I should've never tried to make you three like me...I know my place now. It's with Akuma. And now, with my newfound powers, I WILL get my revenge for you three rejecting me, and for Sagat killing my father! I...AM....SHIN-DAN!!! Ha HA HA HA!!!!..........."
