Shin-Dan Ch. 2 (Part 2)- Where am I?

" I'm not... dead?", Dan thought, waking up. He groaned. Dan rubbed his forehead, feeling a slight gash above his right eye. " Where...am I?" he wondered groggily. " You SHOULD know where you are..." That voice. Cold and unrelentless. Dan was determined to find it. " Where the hell are you?", Dan shouted. He noticed his voice echo. Oh, I'm in a CAVE, Dan thought out loud.

" Obviously..." Dan whirled around, expecting to see the haze that the voice created. Instead, he saw... Akuma!

" Akuma!", Dan said, redying himself in his fighting stance. " Why did you bring me here? Do you work for that mysterious voice..."

" NO, you imbecile. I AM ' THE VOICE'!!!" Dan couldn't believe his ears. The voice claimed he was trying to help Dan, and it's really Akuma? " I don't believe you, Akuma..." akuma was losing his patience. His eyes flickered blood-red. He slowly walked up to Dan, prompting Dan to step backwards. If he tries to attack me, I'll just use my Danku- Too late. Akuma warped, and grabbed Dan tight around his neck. " Listen to me, you worthless mortal. I am losing ALL patience with you! I have actually, for the first time in my life, offered to help someone seek the TRUE power that they know they crave, and they do not want my services?" Akuma tossed Dan onto the ground. " Prepare to die then, Dan Hibiki..." Akuma growled.

Akuma warped quickly at Dan. Dan wasn't prepared. Akuma channeled a red fire Hadoken that singed Dan so badly, his gi actually momentarily caught fire! " OH SH... " Dan couldn't finfish what he was going to say, because Akuma already leaped high in the air, about six feet up, and blasted two Hadokens at once! " AAA!!!" Dan rolled out of the way, and dodged the initial two by barely half a foot. Dan DIDN'T know Akuma wasn't on his way down yet. " TENMA-GO-ZANKU!!!!", Akuma yelled, his deep voice echoing off the walls of the nearly dark cave. Dan tried to escape, but it was in vain. KA-BLAM! The impact of the enormous fireball hurtled Dan like a ragdoll into the cave walls. Akuma landed softly to the ground, his eyes even brighter red with anticipation. He saw Dan try to get up, and watched, nearly in delight, as Dan crumbled back onto the floor.

I'll end this NOW!, Akuma thought evilly. He focused all his energy. He looked at Dan, crumpled in a heap, on the cave floor. He bared his sharp, razor-like teeth, and initiated the mother of all super moves... ShunGokuSatsu. He slid toward Dan. Dan turned onto his back, and saw that his life was indeed, going to end. Akuma slid foward even faster. Dan was backing up, looking for an escape route. BUMP. His back hit the cave wall. NO way out!!!!! he thought. " Akuma! please....NOOOO!!!!" Dan yelled. Akuma saw this. Dan's frightened features. His eyes locked in fear at his adversary. Then Akuma felt something he hated even worse than fear... pity for someone else. "I can't do this..." Akuma thought to himself. ' To kill Dan? it's simply TOO easy..." Akuma slowed his pace, and eventually stopped himself right in front of Dan. Dan had covered his face, and was now peeking from his hands. He lowered them oh-so slowly. " Y-you're-you're...not gonna' k-k-kill m-m-me?"

" No. It would be a waste of time..." Akuma said. He then turned serious. " Although I could right now. Listen, Hibiki. I've told you now that I'm giving my services to you. Now if you want to live, you'll have to be under my rules now..." Dan knew what that meant. " What services are you talking about?" Akuma growled. " Fool. I'm going to teach you the TRUE ways of the warrior! come with me..." Dan didn't follow immediately. Akuma instantly angered up. " I SAID, follow me, that is, if you want to become the warrior you've always wanted to be..." Dan gulped. It was either try and run, and get killed, make a mistake, get killed, or follow Akuma through the dank caves. What choice DO I have?, Dan thought. " None at all...", Akuma said, his kanji flashing. " NONE AT all......."
