Shin-Dan Ch.10 Vengeance!

The plane roared down the runway, slowing until it finally reached the terminal. " Well, here we are, Japan", the co-captain of the plane said. The four warriors nodded, and quickly unloaded off of the private jet. Guy still looked a little uneasy. " Ken", he said, " What if we have to hurt Dan to bring him back, man? I'm not sure I could hurt the guy..." Ken reassured his friend. " Need not worry, Guy. We'll try to bring him back peacefully, but if we get hostile, we'll have to retaliate..."

(Akuma's island)

Akuma sensed the arrival of the four fighters and laughed bitterly. "FOOLS! They don't obviously know what they are doing... And I'll show them the error of their ways when they confront me..." Akuma stopped. He heard something. A light walking... "Hm.", Akuma thought. " Somebody obviously is seeking their God..." He began listening more intently. it was most definitely someone or...something walking. Akuma sensed the unknown person's energy. "What? IMPOSSIBLE! Stronger than myself! It must be Ryu's untapped power I feel..." Akuma had had enough of waiting. HE would find out where the energy was radiating from...

(In Japan)

Ryu, Ken, Guy and Chun-Li all were walking through a rather busy neighborhood. " Hm. It's not as quiet as I remembered here..." Ryu observed. Ken chuckled. " Hey, things change, Ryu." Chun-Li then spoke up. " Um, people? We still do need a place to stay, remember? A hotel, perhaps?" Guy nodded in agreement. Ken then said to Ryu, " Ryu? Handle our living arrangements, okay?" Ryu nodded. ken gave him a wad of american bills. " Ummm, Ken..." Ryu began. Ken waved him off. " Don't worry, he manager'll take the cash. If he doesn't, take my credit card, I'm going to get something to eat..." Guy watched Ken go down the busy street. " Does he even KNOW where he's going?", Guy asked Ryu.

(Akuma's island)

Akuma walked through his cave lightly, not wanting to arouse the unseen noise. He wanted to sneak up on whatever it was, then kill it. He then heard a loud booming noise from behind him! "HMPH!" Akuma warped back to where he original place he was, at the mouth of the cave. He was almost shocked! DAN! alive???? Akuma watched as Dan broke a statue of a Gouki with a Koryuken attack. " HOW...ARE...YOU...ALIVE!" Akuma asked Dan, who turned to face Akuma. Akuma once again was slightly shocked. Dan was beginning to look more like him! Indeed, his skin got darker, his hair, a dark brown, and his gi was now black. How could Dan've survived a level three Tenma Go Zankuu? It was impossible... Dan finally spoke. " It was my will to live, Akuma... I was given a second chance. I wasn't ready to die yet..." Akuma interrupted Dan's speech. " Well then, Dan...are you ready to die now?"

" Nooo....." Dan's voice came out in a tired sigh. He faced Akuma, and looked him straight in the eye, challenging Akuma. " I'll kill you, Akuma..." Akuma was taken aback. " YOU...KILL...ME?" HA!" Dan was burning up. " You don't know me, Akuma...I've changed. I'm not the loser I was before... Something happened to me while I was in the ocean, with your fireball slowly snufffing out my life like a candle..." Dan's eyes glowed a fiery red. He continued. " See, I changed. All the hatred in me for Sagat, all the hatred for Chun-Li, all that...is gone. I only hate two things now...myself...and you. And for turning me into the... thing that I am now, I will have my vengeance... I'll finally do the Shun Goku Satsu on you, killing myself in the process..." Akuma eyed Dan suspiciously. Then Akuma spoke. " You are obviously losing your mind, Dan Hibiki. You can't kill me..." Dan screamed. He lunged at Akuma extremly fast, and Akuma backflipped to avoid the blow. But when he landed, no Dan. " Where is that..."

" KOORRRRYYYKKENN!!!!" Dan thudded Akuma's jaw with a sickening crack. Akuma felt pain but for only an instant... He hit the ground and quickly got to his feet. Dan was gone again! " Show yourself, miserable Hibiki! Do you fear the face that will kill you again?"

"HA!" Dan quickly reappeared behind Akuma, and before he had a chance to react, Dan smacked a Gadouken in Akuma's back. " ARGH!" Akuma roared. He whirled around to Dan, who taunted him with his fist up, saying to Akuma " Akuma, narui wa..." (EDITOR: I believe that is "You suck Akuma" in Japanese) Akuma was enraged! HOW DARE HE! Akuma smashed his foot foward into the ground, causing the cave to tremble violently. " If it's a fight you want, Shin-Dan, it is a fight you shall recieve. You will fight to death?..." Dan, eyes glowing, stomped into ground mimicking Akuma's stance. He was surprised to see that he made the cave temble as well. " Akuma, it makes no difference now..." Akuma's eyes glowed in anticipation. " Very well... MEESSSAAATTTSUUU!!!"
