The next match of the semi-finals was about to begin.

Next up,it was Sakura VS Dan.

"Looks like this one was quite..inevitable."said Ken.

"Yes,those two always had some tension between each other even back then."said Ryu.

"I don't wanna rain on Dan's parade,but I don't think he has a prayer against her right now."said Ken.

"We'll see."said Ryu. "Just watch and wait."

Sakura and Dan stood at opposite ends against each other.

"I shoulda known it would come to this as well."she thought. "First Karin,now this guy….I guess things do come full circle after all as they say."

Dan smirked and then cracked his knuckles.

"She's good."he thought. "But I'm better than she'll ever know. My new strength and skill will win this tournament--I'll gain the respect I sought after for so long."

"FIGHT!"said the referee.

Sakura decided to make the first move.

She ran straight at Dan and did her hurricane kick,and flew right at him.

Dan ducked the kick and then rocketed upward with a hard and fast Kyoruken.

"WHAMM!"

"ERRGH!"cried Sakura as she fell backwards and landed on her back.

"Hah--touche"said Dan.

Sakura jumped back to her feet,ready for anything this time.

Dan then made his own move,he rolled forward and then tried to land a thrust punch at her,but Saky dodged it and then brought down both fists down on his head.

Dan rolled backwards and then rubbed at his head.

"Erk..not bad..so far."he said.

Sakura then fired off a Hadouken,but Dan thrust both arms forward and blasted it away with his Super Gadouken.

"Yike!"said Sakura. "That fireball looks dangerous! I'd better try something else!"

Dan then flew into his Flail Kick,Sakura managed to block it off at the last second and skidded across the floor.

Dan then swung a leg sweep towards her,but the Shotokan warrior jumped and back flipped away to safety.

"Nice try!"she said.

Dan scowled and then jumped high into the air and landed directly in front of her.

"I'm through clowning,student!"he said. "Now you face my ultimate super move!"

He charged up and then released his Burrai Ken and unleashed a fast and furious array of punches and kicks on his opponent.

"YAAAHH--OOF!"went Sakura as she managed to block and parry off the first few attacks,but she soon discovered that Dan had a lot more strength and fury up his ever loving sleeves and poured on the attack.

"Nooo--UNNGHH!"replied Sakura as her defenses were suddenly broken apart.

She was hit several more times in the chest and face by the attack,when suddenly….

"EERRGH!"replied Dan as he suddenly stopped in mid-attack.

"Wha--what th--?"replied Sakura.

Dan's arms suddenly stiffened and he clutched his chest.

"Dan--are--are you okay..?"she said.

Dan then shook it off and snapped back to attention.
"Screw if I'm okay,just fight!"he said and then swung a high kick.

"Excuse me for being concerned,dillweed!"she said and then she let him have it.

"SHOORYUKKEN!"

She slammed a fast and hard Dragon uppercut that sent the Saikyo master flying to the ground.

Once he hit the floor,he then coughed so hard that blood erupted from his mouth and he lay about half-conscious on the ring floor.

"DAN!"she cried and rushed to his side.

"N--nooo--not--not over---"he muttered through a blood covered mouth.

"Oh for gosh sakes,shut the hell up and let me help you!"said Sakura. "MEDICS!"

A group of medics with a stretcher then ran into the ring and placed Dan on the stretcher and carried him away.

"Uh…"said the referee. "Since Dan is no longer fit to fight--that makes Sakura the winner by default!"

The crowds cheered,but some were disappointed that Dan had lost after coming so far.

"Geez..!"said Ken. "You see that?"

"Yeah,I saw it."said Ryu looking just as concerned. "Looks like Dan's…power is catching up with him--with…disastrous results."

Sakura stepped out of the ring and rubbed at the bruises on her face.

"Sakura!"said Li as she and Guile ran to her.

"Are you all right?"

"I…I'll be as fine as I'll ever be."she said. "It's Dan I'm worried now about..can you believe it?"

"There's nothing wrong in being concerned for someone,Sakura."said Yang. "Even if Dan is..shall we say..bull headed."

"Ya got that right."said Guile. "He makes Ken look restrained..but..it looks that last attack hit him hard. I mean..what the hell's the matter with him?"

"I don't know."said Sakura. "But I intend to find out!"

Benson made an announcement to the audience.

"NEXT MATCH--GUILE VS CHUN-LI!"he said.

"Oh,my."said Li. "Looks like they know how to pick their matches."

"You said it."said Guile scratching his hair. "I was hoping to get a crack at you,Yang."

Yang chuckled. "I'll fight soon enough,Colonel. For now,I shall meditate further on the matter till my time comes."

"Yeah,good luck guys."said Sakura as she ran off to the medical room where Dan was.

"Shall we?"said Guile. "Let's."

Li then adjusted the top of her new red tunic top she was wearing.

"Good thing I brought a change of clothes after that last..incident."she thought. "Well..I guess this was rather--inevitable."

"Aw man..would ya look at that?"said Ken. "Mr.Air Force VS Miss Interpol herself."

"Hmmm..yes..I had a feeling they'd fight soon enough after all this time."

"Well Guile was always good,but my money's on miss lightning legs."said Ken. "Either way,this is gonna be good!"

The two bowed respectfully and the fighter made the word to fight.

And the latest match began.

Guile made the first move as he swung his muscled arms forward and shouted.

"SONIC-KABOOM!"

A pair of yellow swirly fireballs flew at Li.

"Huh,the usual I see."She said as she jumped right over them and landed directly in front of Guile.

"YAAAH!"she shouted and attacked with her lightning legs.

Guile managed to block it off and then came at her with a spin backfist.

Li ducked it and then came up at Guile with a rising kick to the chin.

Guile winced in pain and then jumped back,rubbing at his chin.

"You were…always good,Chun-Li."he said.

"Thanks,so were you,colonel."said Li smiling. "But let's just see who's the better in the end!"

"Gladly."said Guile.

Li then jumped into the air and landed directly behind Guile.

She then thrust both her arms forward and slammed Guile in the abdomen with a flashy and hot Kikoken fireball!

"UNNF!"Guile nearly fell backwards and down,but kept on his booted feet.

Li then jumped high into the air and brought down the hell of her boot atop Guile's head.

"ACK--HEY!"he replied.

Li landed on her feet and then came at him with a flying thrust kick.

Guile caught it just as it came,gripping her by the leg.

"HAH-try to get outta this one-buns head!"he said.

"Oookay.."said Li.

She brought her other leg up and back flipped Guile in the chin,and landed safely back on her feet.

"Man--I shoulda known!"said Guile rubbing his chin.

"Hee-Hee."teased Li.

Li then jumped into the air at Guile,but he quickly reacted to the situation and unleashed his Flash Kick,hitting her out of the air.

Li landed on her backside,but managed to jump back to her feet again.
"Almost forgot about that nasty flip of his!"she thought.

Guile then ran at Li and then swung another Sonic Boom at her.

Li jumped over and unleashed her most deadly attack.

"SUPER-LIGHTNING KICKS!"

She slammed as many super leg strikes into Guile's face as fast and hard as she could,ending the attack on a rising kick!

"KRAKK!"

Guile flipped backwards and landed on his face and stomach,he was down for the count.

"YATTAH!"she cried and jumped into the air. "I still got it!"

The crowds cheered as loud as ever.

"Oh yeah,that's the match!"said Ken.

"She's still got it--but poor Guile."said Ryu.

Li helped Guile up.

He then saluted her and left the arena.

"Good luck to you both,you're gonna be up next."he said to Yang and Sakura.

Yang nodded and Sakura smiled.

"Well,my time in the spotlight is up,time to find Cammy,she hasn't called me back."he thought as he ran off.

Ryu then got up and was about to leave the room.
"I…need to take a leak."said Ryu.

"Well,don't take too long pal."said Ken. "You're no.1 student is gonna be up again."

"Right."said Ryu.

Ryu then left for where Li was,he was going to see her again at last.

"We'll take a 5 minute break till the next fight starts folks."said Benson. "So take care of whatever business you got."

Benson turned to see Guile leaving the arena room,he smiled wickedly and left the room as well.

While back in the med room,Sakura saw where Dan was laid down upon a cot and had a cold compress laid upon his head and an IV attached to his wrist.

The Doctor then approached her.

"If you're a visitor,I'm afraid you'll have to come back later."he said. "Mr.Hibiki is not be disturbed..he lost a bit of a blood from earlier."

Sakura looked over at him.

"All..all right."she said. "Later--if any."

But once she left,the doctor took out a mini radio from his pocket.

"Okay--she's gone..now!"he said.

A pair of ultra dolls then entered the room from a back door and then removed Dan's unconscious body and the 4 of them all left the room.

Guile,meanwhile was running through the hallways of the dome building as fast as he could.

"She hasn't answered!"he thought. "And neither had Ace or Dark--something must be wrong--I can feel it in my gut!"

He kicked open the exit door and ran up the nearby hill to where the commandos sat.

But..he found instead---

"NOTHING!"he said.

"Where did--?"

Suddenly,he felt something sharp stick in his back,a dart.

"WHAT THE--heelllll…"was all the colonel could get out before he fell forward and landed in the grass.

A single ultra doll commando stood over,weilding a dart gun.

"Excellent my dear."said a voice behind her. "I was hoping to ensnare Guile just the same as well.
Now--take him along with the others to the ship.

The doll nodded and lifted up and then carried Guile off into the shadows.

"Heh-heh..soon street fighters…very soon."he thought as he looked back at the building.

"I shall at last reveal myself..the world shall be mine--and my dark master--the demon from beyond--shall be mine to command at last as well!"

Benson then vanished in a blue flash of light.

While back in India..

Dhalsim sat cross legged in the great hall and temple.

"Hmmmm…"he thought. "…so…he has at last returned--and has brought something..monstrous with him this time,eh? Well then.."

Dhalsim then vanished a flash of white light.

His destination,Japan.

The next match of the finals was set to begin as well.
