The next few matches continued as the tournament raged on.

Guile flash kicked a wrestler on the chin,knocking him out instantly.

Cammy drill kicked a lady ninja into the ring walls and finished her off with a flip kick.

Blanka still in his human form was keen at using his animal like moves on his first opponent.

He rollerbladed a judo off his feet,and once he was down,he landed both feet on his abdomen,quite hard!

Zangief as the masked marvel did his famed spinning piledriver on a kick boxer,slamming him to the ring so hard it sounded like thunder was heard throughout the ring.

Honda did the same with another wrestler,as he threw him to the floor and landed on him with a loud thud.

Chun-Li was next in line.

"Hey there,Ryu.."said Ken pointing through the window. "..look who's here at last!"

"Chun-Li.."said Ryu his eyes with a sudden dreamy look in them.

"Nice to see the years have been kind to her as well."said Guile as he and Cammy watched her in the distance.

"I'll say."said Cammy. "Last time I heard,after the last WW contest..she retired from Interpol,and took up a job as dojo teacher."

"Let's see if she's still in practice herself."said Guile.

Li's first opponent was a total combat fighter dressed in blue shorts and gloves.

The two bowed and the match began.

Li ran and jumped at the combat fighter,landing in front of him.

The fighter yelped in surprise,but got back his nerve as he swung a fist at her.

Li ducked it and then slammed an open palm at his chest,knocking him backwards.

"Wanna play it rough %*+#%?"he said suddenly pissed. "I'll show ya how!"

"Sure you will."said Li as she did a handstand kick and knocked the fighter down on his back.

The fighter was about to get back up,but before he could Li landed a hand chop to his neck,knocking him out.

Li had won her first match.

The crowds cheered wildly at one of their fave SF legends.

"Man..i'd like to wrap my limbs around her thick thighs."said a male fighter.

"Huh,she may be good,but age is getting her like all the rest in the old SF cast!"thought Karin. "I'll be sure to take her out next as well."

Vega,still in his disguise ran and jumped over his opponent who was rushing at him.

Once he landed on the other side,he thrust forward at him with a superhuman fast movement.

Just as the karate fighter swung around,he saw and felt a sudden rush of hot razors slicing past his abdomen,injuring him quite hard in the process.

The fighter fell to the floor in sheer pain and Vega was the winner.

"Whoa there!"said Ken. "That guy looks pretty dangerous!"

"I'll say."said Ryu. "Not only that..there's something familiar about him."

Akuma still in his hooded disguise fought a large brawler who was using a style of rush grappling.

He lunged at the hooded fighter,but Akuma simply jumped high into the air and then charged up an air Hadou,and threw it down at the grappler.

"UNNF!"the grappler replied as he was hit in the face by a blast of hot ki energy.

Once he was stunned wide open,Akuma did his dive kick and connected with the fighter's throat,knocking him out.

Both Ryu and Ken looked at each other and then at the hooded one.

"Is he a…Shotokan as well?"said Ken.

"We'll soon find out won't we?"said Ryu half grinning.

He knew in his gut that it was Akuma,but also knew that it had to wait till the contest was over,which was of course going to take a while it seemed.

Balrog next stepped into the ring,he took on a kung fu cretin who looked to be a little over the hill.

"Come on ya old crust!"he said beckoning him. "I ain't got all night here!"

The kung fu bowed and then jumped into the air,flipped and landed directly in front of him.

He then thrust forward with a pair of hand chops,but the boxer blocked them off and then unleashed his own punishment onto the old Chinese.

"YAAAHH!"cried Balrog as he unleashed his crazy Buffalo move on the fighter,hitting him several times with a series of dash punches.

The last one sent the old geezer on his way across the ring and he was out cold.

"YEAH--I'M BACK WITH A VENGANCE BABY!"he shouted as he raised a fist in the air.

Guile watched with a look of unimpressive cynicism.

"Why am I not surprised?"he thought.

Fei Long was next as he sparred blows with a Muay Thai fighter.

The Thai swung a spin kick at Fei,but the Chinese ducked it and then slammed his Rekka Ken into his chest several hard and fast times.

The last punch sent him falling to the floor.

Fei then bowed and advanced to the next line.

Dee Jay fought a n Aikido fighter next in the ring.

The Aikido swung his legs with several kicks,and then lunged a few punches,but Dee dodged and blocked them off in response.

"Ya ain't got no rhythm mon."Dee said cooly.

"I'll show you rhythm you smart ass!"said the fighter as he lunged at the Jamaican.

Dee simply then dodged and slammed a drop kick into his stomach,causing the figther to stumble forward.

"You're out mon!"he said. "Starting now--MAX OUT!"

Dee Jay swung his right arm forward and his trusty boomerang shaped projectile flew straight at the Aikido.

"WHAP!"one blow and he was down for the count.

Some of the fighters of the new generation were up next in the ring.

Datta,son of Dhalsim fought a Shaolin Monk who moved across the ring with a sudden swiftness.

The Indian youth swung a high kick at him,but the monk

"Unngh!"cried Datta as he was knocked on his side by a trip kick from the monk.

"Looks like he's gonna be the next to be out if he doesn't pick up some slack."said Alex as he and others watched from the line up.

Datta then leapt back to his feet.

The Monk then got into a fight stance and was ready for some more dishing.

"Must..I must.."thought Datta. "..concentrate!"

The monk smirked and then thrust forward with a lunge punch,but just as he got close enough.

"YOGA!"said Datta as he vanished.

"WHAT?"said the monk in complete shock of surprise.

Everyone gasped at what they saw.

"I don't believe it!"thought Chun-Li. "Only two fighters I've seen ever did that move."

Datta then re-appeared behind the monk.

"Looking for me?"he said.

The monk sneered and then ran and jumped at him,ready to land a flying kick on him.

But before he knew it,Datta simply raised his head high in the air,his eyes aglow with yellow energy.

"YOGA FIRE!"said Datta as he blew through his lips,and a blast of orange flame erupted from them.

"YAAAAHH!"cried the monk as he was toasted head on by the blast.

The monk then fell to the floor with a thud,his clothes and skin were burnt to a crisp.

He was also barely conscious as well.

"Do you yield?"said Datta.

"Errrghh…y-yes.."said the monk nodding and then fell back to the floor.

Datta bowed,he was next in line as the winner.

"Wow!"

"Did ya see that?"

"Awesome dude."

Were amongst the chants and comments of the other fighters as well as the rest of the crowd.

"Well I never."thought Chun-Li. "He must be either Dhalsim's son..or student. I'm sure I'll find out eventually."

Juli was next,her opponent was a Capeoria fighter dressed in green and black slacks and dark skin.

The Indian woman made the first move as she jumped at the Capeoria and did a thrust kick at him

But the dark skinned fighter ducked it and slammed a low kick into her gut,knocking her backwards.

He then jumped down and swung a hard leg sweep at her,but Juli simply jumped right over it.

She then did another jump,aimed both of her arms downward and then sailed right at the fighter.

Before he got a chance to react,he was knocked down on his back quite hard.

She then landed a drop kick on his face,knocking him out.

"YEAH!"she called. "I did it!"

"I don't bloody believe it!"said Cammy. "That's Juli,my former partner from Shadowloo!"

"Yeah,and it looks like she's fighting in her brother's place here--that's a surpise!"said Guile. "This is getting more interesting by the minute."

Li's student Pai Li was next in the ring,her opponent was a big thick built wrestler in orange shorts,boots and had a matching red moustache and bald head.

"Well…this is it."she thought nervously. "I've gotta give it all I got,for my sensei."

She then looked over at Li.

Her teacher waved and smiled,assuring to be positive.

Pai smiled nervously back,but kept her cool for the fight.

"BEGIN!"said the referee.

The wrestler grinned wickedly and then lunged straight at the pretty Chinese girl.

"GAAAH!"cried Pai as she back flipped away from the swinish fighter.

"Come on lassie!"said the fighter in a Scottish accent. "I won't hurt ya--too bad!"

"Ughhh..you damn pig!"she said and then thrust her fists forward.

"KIKOKEN!"

A single blue fireball flew from her hands.

"HA--I don't think so!"said the scott as he jumped high into the air and came hurtling down on her.

"PAI!"said Li.

"Oh man--!"said Pai in a panic.

She then thrust her left leg upward along with the rest of her body.

The Chinese girl managed to clock the big goon right on the chin so hard that it sent him flying backwards.

"WHUMP!"the wrestler was next to fall down for the count.

Pai landed on her feet,and then scratched her head.

"I--I did it!"she said. "ALRIGHT!"

Li gave a thumb up and smiled.

"That's my girl."she said.

Karin was next in line as she went up against her first opponent.

A lightweight boxer came up and came flying at her with a few dash punches.

She simply swatted off the first two punches and caught his fist in her palm.

"UH---?"said the boxer in disbelief.

"Heh."said Karin as she smirked.

She then slammed her elbow into his gut,and the fighter crumpled to the floor in pain.

"Next."she said.

"Oh man!"thought Sakura watching the whole thing. "Some things sure as hell never change in this line of work. Well..if it's another ass-busting she wants--SHE'S GOT ONE!"

The next fighters in line swept up the competition just as well as the others.

Alex grabbed a Sumo fighter by the throat and slammed a Burning Elbow into him,knocking him down to the floor.

Cody fought a karate fighter next in the ring.

The karate thrust a few kicks at him,one got Cody in the gut,but he grabbed the next kick by the leg and brought down his hard fist onto the knee.

The karate cried out in pain and staggered backwards.

"Bye-bye bud."said Cody as he did a spin thrust kick,hitting him in the face and knocking him out.

Guy was next as he fought a Tae Kwon Do fighter in the ring.

The Korean jumped,thrust,and did a flying axe kick at him,but Guy simply shadow warped and appeared right behind him.

"Huh?"said the fighter as he turned to see what was going on.

But the last thing he saw was Guy doing a turn spin and slamming an elbow strike right into his face.

The Korean sailed to the floor,his face was bloodied and bruised,and he was next to be unconscious.

Guy then bowed and left the ring.

"Huh,good guy but still a show off."thought Cody. "Hey,there's Maki."

Maki next entered the ring with her opponent,a Japanese warrior maiden dressed in a red and white kimono robe.

"Huh,flashy fighter."she thought.

The match began and the maiden shadow warped right at her.

"Uh-oh,looks like a fighter in ninjitsu skills herself--!"thought Maki as she got into her fight stance. "I'd better be ready!"

The maiden then appeared right beside Maki,and then shoved her sideways.

Maki nearly lost her footing,but managed to back flip away.

"Nice try,girlfriend."she said. "But let's see ya do better."

The maiden nodded and then threw a pair of razor sharp fans at her.

Maki saw what was coming and then whipped out her trusty baton,knocking them both away.

The maiden then flipped forward and rushed at her.

Maki then dodged out of the way,and then thrust at her with a flying stab kick.

"UNNF!"cried the woman as the air got knocked out of her.

Maki then decked her in the face with a few punches and then finished it off with a spinning backfist to the head,forcing her into a painful submission.

Maki had won the match.

"Good my student."said Guy. "You have learned well."

Maki smiled and bowed.

The matches raged on.

Yun thrust punched an opponent out,followed by Yang defeating his own opponent.

The ninja trio of Hokuto,Kairi and Naneese followed through with their own victories over their opponents.

Urien savagely beat up his fist opponent with his deadly moves,then Oro slammed a fighter in the ring with his own unique and deveasting moves.

Ibuki took out a Kendo fighter with her ninja skills,and Hugo pulverized a fellow grappler in the ring with his slamming fists.

Sodom made his first victory as did Rolento as well.

The matches all raged on for several minutes until it was down to a total of 30 of the same Street fighters who were wading through the competition.

"All right folks."said the referee. "Get in line for elimination matches two..this is where things really begin to heat up!"

"At last."said Yun cracking his knuckles.

"I'll say."said Alex. "I'm really ready to break some bones here."

"Hmmm..the battle continues."thought Ryu.
