There they both stood,a pair of titans,one represeninting the power of good,the other,evil.

Ryu Hoshi had faced many fighters and villians in his lifetime,but never had he faced one so evil,or so monstrous before.
But he knew he had to win this,before all was lost!

Den made the first move as he rushed at Ryu and did his Demon Cradle.
Ryu blocked it off,but was pushed right off his feet.

He then counterattacked and did a Hadouken,but the vampire threw up his bat-like cape,shielding it off from him.
Den had then swung around and did a leg-sweep on Ryu,knocking him to the floor.

He then raised his leg over him and began to bring it down in an axe kick fashion.
Ryu caught his leg and pushed it away,allowing himself to sommesault to safety.

Den then hovered in the air over Ryu,and then swooped down at him like a bird of prey.
Ryu ducked it,he was not going to let the Darkstalker win so easy.

Den swooped down again,preparing to blast Ryu with a full blast of hellfire,but just before he could do another attack,Ryu launched into the air and slammed a hard Dragon Punch in Den's face,knocking him to the floor.

Once down,Ryu rushed forward at Den and unleashed an attack of punches and kicks.

Den managed to keep his defense up as he blocked and dodged every move Ryu made.
Ryu launched one last punch,but as he thrust it,Den caught Ryu's fist and slammed an open palm in Ryu's face in turn.

He then lifted Ryu over his head and slammed him down upon the floor.
"WHAMM!"

Ryu's lungs gasped for air as hard pain coarsed through his body.
Part of him wanted to surrender to sweet release,but knew it would be an insane folly to do so.

He then jumped back to his feet,got back into his stance and continued the fight.
Den then charged up his mystic ki and fired off another Hellfire blast at Ryu.

Ryu managed to jump over it,and land directly in front of Den.
Before Den could react,Ryu did his super Hurricane and slammed several super hard and fast kicks against Den's head.

"WHAAKK-WHAKK-WHAAAK!"
"KRRRRAAAAKKK!"

The last kick caused Den's neck and head to twist sideways.
Ryu gasped at what he did,but knew something had to be done to stop this monster.

Den painfully gripped his head,and with a sheer hard tug,he pulled his head and neck back to where it was with a sickening crack.

"You...shall...DIE!"he said.
"First you admired me from when you saw me fight,then you wanted to control me...now you want to kill me?"said Ryu. "Can't very well make up your mind can you?"

"I learned many things from my dear departed father,Ryu."said Den. "If a warrior earns your respect,then try to keep it,but..i'm afraid you have gone much too far to keep going for this. I have a destiny to fulfill,and you are the last thing in my way!"

Den then floated upward,wrapped his cape around his body and came flying back down in a drill fashion upon Ryu.
Ryu managed to jump out of the way in time,just as the drill-like tip came smashing through the floor.

Den then flew at Ryu,and contineud to do his drill movement.
He then saw an opening to get Den once and for all.

He waited till Den was close enough.
And once he was,Ryu launched into a new and more devestating attack.

He slammed another Dragon Punch into Den's chin,then slammed a hard foot thrust into the front of him!
Once Den was hit wide open,Ryu then charged up a powerful enough Shinku-Hadouken to take out Den,(hopefully)for good!

"SHINKUUUU---"
"WHA--NOO!"said Den.
"--HADOUKEN!"

Den was hit right in the chest by a full powered blast of fiery ki energy!
"WHAMMM---ZAAAP!"

Den went flying across the room,and crashed right into some techno-sensory equipment,causing a slight exposion of fire and sparks!

Ryu landed on both feet,trying to catch his breath and prayed that his attack worked.

But as he looked over at Ken and the others,they were still standing in a row like toy soldiers,still in a deep vampire trance.
"NO---it didn't work!"he said.

"No it didn't,did it?"said Den as he arose from the rubble.
The front of Den's shirt and jacket were torn wide open and his pale white skin was burned red.

"Good...attack move,Ryu."he said. "But not good enough i'm afraid. You see,if I was a normal human,that attack probably would've burnt a hole in my chest.

But I am not human...I am a Darkstalker vampire! And son of the most powerful of all!"
And it seems...that I now have no alternative,but to reveal my full potential power!"

Den clenched his fists,and red energy began to flow from his very body.
His eyes glowed a bright red and his fangs began to look even more fierce.

"HAHAHA!"said Den. "Ryu Hoshi,you shall witness evil incarnate!
RAAAAAAGHH!"

Den's muscle mass enlarged and ripped through his very clothes.
His skin then began to turn a rock hard grey and a giant pair of batlike wings formed on his back.

Ryu saw him do this once before,but the transformation was not complete when he did it.
This time,it was a full-blown appearance for Den.

Den's head and hair was the last to change in appearance.
His face turned grey and his hair turned into some strange bat like ears as well and his mouth transoformed into a full fanged mouth,more vicious then ever.

Den roared into the night as his appearance was now complete.
"My gosh---!"he said. "What the hell have you become?"
"I HAVE BECOME A FULL WINGED BAT-DEMON,THAT'S WHAT!"said Den in a monstrous and horrofic voice that echoed through the room. "CAN YOU FACE ME NOW?"

"Come on and see!"said Ryu,more determined than before.

Den flew at Ryu,his talons drawn for the kill.
Ryu dodged him and fired another Hadou at him.

Den spun around and slapped the fireball away.
He then fired a full blast of hellfire from his mouth.

Ryu then jumped over it and did another flying kick at the demon.
Den simply caught Ryu by the foot and threw him to the floor.

"UNNH!"went Ryu.
Den then reached for Ryu,and grabbed him by the back of his gi shirt top.
But as he brought him upward,Ryu swung around and punched Den right in the left cheek.

"POW!"
Den was slightly stunned and rubbed at his cheek.
He bruised him,but it wasn't enough to overpower him.

Den then backfisted Ryu even harder,and then brought his fist down upon his head.
Ryu was dazed,but not out yet.

"IT WAS FUN WHILE IT LASTED."said Den.
"BUT THIS FARCE MUST END ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

Den then opened his fanged mouth as wide as the eye could see,acid like salive dripped from the vicious fangs as he intended to bite Ryu's very head off,and drink his red nectre.

Suddenly,before he could draw blood one final time,a fireball blast hit him in the back.
"WHAT?"said Den as he turned to see who it was.

Standing before him were Morrigan and Guinnever Baine once again.
"You will not kill that young hero while we still live,Maximov!"said Baine.
"YOU?"said Den. "BUT MY PRISON WAS FULL-PROOF!"

"Even I have spells that you do not understand,vampire!"said Baine. "Now,release him,or suffer the concsequences!"
Den growled and then threw Ryu across the room.

Den's vampire goons then ran towards Baine,attempting to stop her,but before they could do anything,Baine swung her sword at them,disintegrating them all in a flash of fire.

Morrigan flew across the room and caught him.
"Take'im out Guineverre!"said Morrigan.
"Don't mind if I do!"said Baine as she lunged at the monster with her sword.

Den blocked the blade off with his iron-like talons,and pushed it away.
"YOUR FATHER MAY HAVE BEEN A GREAT HUNTER,WOMAN."he said. "BUT EVEN HE COULD NOT DESTROY MY FATHER,OTHERWISE,I WOULDN'T BE HERE WOULD I?"

"Your death shall precede from your father!"said Baine. "I SWEAR IT!"

Baine then swung her sword and fire and ice balls flew from it.
Den then shielded himself from the blasts with his wings and then lunged forward,swinging his talons at her.

Morrigan shook Ryu to get him to wake up.
"Wake up,lad."she said. "Ryu,wake up!"

"Uhh...wha-what?"he said as he finally regained total consciousness.

He then saw Baine fighting Den.
"How'd you two get here?"said Ryu.
"We have our ways,trust me."said Morrigan. "Ryu,do you still have that silver stake with you?"

Ryu took it out from his waistband.
"Right here."he said.
"Good,I have a..plan but--."said Morrigan.

"But what..?"said Ryu. "It may not work?"
"It depends."said Morrigan. "Whether or not,Guinevvere defeats Den."
"And can she?"said Ryu.

"I---I don't know."said Morrigan. "She has great powers like her famed ancestor,but then so does Den there."
Baine then swung her sword,hitting Den on one of his wrists,but Den used it as a strong shield,pushing her off.

"YOU WILL DIEEEE!"said Baine as she lunged at him.
But before she could make good on her word,Den vanished,reapperead behind her,and then slammed a fist in the back of her head.

Baine was hit so hard,she fell to the floor and was out cold.
Den then grabbed her by the neck and attempted to bite her there.

When suddenly,Morrigan fired another Soul Blast at him in the back.
Den then dropped Baine and turned his attention to her.

"MOTHER..."he said. "...YOU ARE BEGINNING TO IRRITATE ME!"
Morrigan chuckled mischievously. "That's what I do best,son."

Den then looked around for Ryu,but saw no sign of him.
"Where--where is Ryu?"said Den.

"I transported him away from here."said Morrigan. "But that is no longer your concern. You and I are to end this blood-fued at once. So...come to me my son..come give your dear mother a nice warm embrace."

Den smiled and then floated towards her.
"Yes..."he said. "..perhaps if I make you one of my slaves,I shall have the perfect general for my armies,and we will never be apart again."

Den then attempted to sink his fangs into Morrigan's neck when suddenly...

Ryu jumped down from a chandiler and slammed his foot into Den's back.
Morrigan then slammed a blast full of Soul Fist energy into Den's eyes,blinding him.

"AAAARRRRR---WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"he roared.
"NOW RYU!"

Ryu did another spin kick at Den,hitting him wide open.
And once he was open,he took out the silver stake and hurled it at the monster.

The stake hit Den right in the chest and pierced his skin.
Morrigan then used her magic to make the stake sink further into Den's heart.

Maximov let out a bloodcurdling cry of rage and pain.
Ryu then jumped and slammed his foot into the end of the stake,cauising it to completly impale the vampire in the heart!

"RRRAAAAGHH--NOOOoooo!"'
Den cried as he fell and stumbled backwards,causing himself to fall into the blood cauldron,spilling it over.

The vanmpire prince then tumbled across the floor,raised his left hand in the air,and then died right there on the spot,his arm fell with a thud.

Once he was down,the spell he inflicted upon the other heroes then was destoryed and they reverted back to their human forms.

"Wha--what--Ryu?"said Ken.
"What's going on here?'said Makoto.

"We--we did it.said Ryu. "Chun-Li and the others will live again."
"Yes,it is at last over."said Morrigan."Den Maximov is done for."

Baine stood in front of the two victors.
"Well...I guess I couldn't have done it better myself."she said.
"Uh..yeah..sorry about that if we--."began Ryu.
"No need for apologies,mister Hoshi."said Baine. "You did what was necessary..but---it's not quite over yet."

Baine went over to the blood cauldron and found the Blood Ruby on the floor beside it.
She then placed it on the floor,raised her mystic saber,charged it with enough powerful energy,and sliced the accursed crystal in two,destroying it once and for all."

Guy then came back into the room,carrying the still unconscious Chun-Li in his arms.
"Chun-Li!"said Ryu. "Is she..?"
"We won't know completly if she is human again until she awakens."said Morrigan.

Baine then went over to the fallen form of Den and attempted to raise her sword again.
"Now,we must make sure that Maximov's son is dead for good."she said.

Suddenly,the entire palace began to shake and crumble.

The floor then began to crack under their feet.
"OMIGOSH!"said Makoto. "What's happening?"
"Now that Den is destroyed,"said Morrigan. "this whole place is going to come undone,and the portal he has created will be destroyed,and we will be trapped in here forever unless we get out of here!"

"Then what are waiting for?'said Sodom. "Let's split!"
But before they could make a run for the doors,the ceiling came down and blocked off the exit.
"NO!"said Dudley.

"Wait!"said Rose. "I may have an idea!"
Rose then rasied her hands in the air and a lavendar shaped dome began to envelope her and the other heroes within it.

Morrigan then pulled on one of Baine's arms.
"Come on Baine!"she said. "It's too late!"
"But...what if he's not really dead?'she said.
"He must be dead,or this place wouldn't be destroying itself!"said Morrigan. "Now come on!"
 

The entire group of heroes then vanished in a flash of light,just as the entire palace crumbled apart.
Seconds later,the entire group found themselves back on the wharf docks of San Fransisco and back outside Den's ocean liner.

"We made it!"said Cammy. "We're back!"
"Look--look there!"said Sean.

The entire ship then began to glow a bright red and yellow.and within a full minute,it exploded in a ball of flame!
"KA-BOOOM!"

The ship,now a fiery wreck then began to sank into the dark waters of the ocean.
It was now at last over,Den Maximov's reign of would-be terror was done for.

Suddenly,the heroes began to hear police sirens in the distance.
"Hmmm..it may not be over,quite yet."said Charlie.
